A “scientist” and his wife in the scam get half a mil for part time work. It is no wonder that he wants everyone else to shut up.
Hey, if the plebeians don’t agree send them to gulag, better yet sent them to psychiatric institution, it is a proven rehabilitative place for those that don’t agree.
As a byproduct it will employ an army of nonproductive useless people that will make hundreds of thousands of dollars.

  2. What deep thinkers men are… I mowed the lawn today, and after doing so I sat down and had a cold beer. The day was really quite beautiful, and the drink facilitated some deep thinking.
My wife walked by and asked me what I was doing and I said ‘nothing’. The reason I said that instead of saying ‘just thinking’ is because she would have said ‘about what’. At that point I would have to explain that men are deep thinkers about various topics which would lead to other questions.
Finally I thought about an age old question: Is giving birth more painful than getting kicked in the nuts? Women always maintain that giving birth is way more painful than a guy getting kicked in the nuts.
Well, after another beer, and some heavy deductive thinking, I have come up with the answer to that question. Getting kicked in the nuts is more painful than having a baby; and here is the reason for my conclusion. A year or so after giving birth, a woman will often say, “It might be nice to have another child.” On the other hand, you never hear a guy say, “You know, I think I would like another kick in the nuts.” I rest my case.
    Time for another beer.

  3. It can happen here and it will sooner than you think if we lose this election.

    http://legalinsurrection.com/2015/09/german-authorities-crack-down-on-free-speech-refuse-debate-on-mass-migration/

In recent weeks, German authorities have shown zero-tolerance towards individuals posting critical or hateful comments on the social media and internet. Police have confiscated computers and courts have imposed heavy fines to the tune of thousands of Euros.
    ….
Same German authorities that were willing to extend “freedom of protest” to the burning of synagogues, and turned a blind eyes to anti-Semitic outbursts last year, are now acting surprisingly thin skinned in face of protests against their own policies.

Arctic sea ice still too thick for regular shipping route through Northwest Passage

Despite climate change, sea ice in the Northwest Passage (NWP) remains too thick and treacherous for it to be a regular commercial Arctic shipping route for many decades, according to new research out of York University.

  7. Repost from your ‘Things you See at the CBC’ thread. Please give us a chance to express our creativity with one of your contests. Maybe Brian can offer up a book as a prize?

Drove through a ‘progressive area’ — you know close to the major University — of one of Canada’s large metropolitan areas a few days ago. Guess what political party had the majority of signs? That’s right, the CBC! There were signs everywhere that declared proudly: “I VOTE CBC”. Well I’m wondering if I can get me one of them to put up on my lawn. I will have to come clean though, I’ll have to add a little line above the main line that admits: “SINCE THE LOBOTOMY, I VOTE CBC”.
I have to admit my effort at sarcasm is a bit late but maybe Kate could run a contest where us CBC Haytards can express our discontent.

  8. Hope everyone has picked up an Ì`m a Harperman`tee shirt from The Rebel. A good cause for sure. I am getting concerned about the proliferation of Liberal lawn signs — but have decided that all the places that do not have signs probably support the Conservatives but just do not want to make a show of it. I hope anyway.

  12. Tonight, (Sept. 30) the CBC ran the following headline!!
Lise Thibault ordered to repay $300K, serve 18 months
    Crown was seeking a 4-year-sentence for Quebec’s former lieutenant-governor
Now stealing from the government in Quebec and Ottawa is definitely not news. However I am quite surprised that the CBC forgot to mention that Mme Thibault was a member of the Liberal Party of Quebec, and member of the Liberal Party of Canada. She ran unsuccessfully as a (Liberal) member of the Quebec assembly, and as a (Liberal) federal MP in that province. She was also president of the ”commission des communications” for the Quebec section of the Liberal Party of Canada in 1986-87, as well as Lieutenant Governor of Quebec from 1997-2007. She was appointed by Jean Chretien.

Canadian banks ranked world’s soundest for 8th straight year
“Canada’s banks were ranked the world’s soundest by the World Economic Forum for the eighth year in a row, even as rising housing prices may present a risk.”
