  1. Stuck without Sat radio this morning had to listen to this dork called Reuben Kincaid wail about this, calling it an illness, calling out scummy urnalists is an illness said the said dork. No Mr. Kincaid it is what we are taught, we are taught to throw trash in the bin, scoop the p..p if you will, Canadians are finally starting to show the lockstep media sheep that shove microphones and cameras in Steven Harpers face and then doctor the photos and edit the speech, enough is enough. Brian Williams Dan Rather Omalley, this POS Mcgregor, doesn’t matter, they report what they want to happen, not what really happened. Paying back wrongly used money by a friendly conservatve govt. worker for an ex media hack is a crime. but liberals stealing 41 million is just a rounding error to our pathetic media, unreal.

  2. Perhaps when the journalists stop acting like career partisan hacks, then they’ll be treated with the respect that they think that they deserve.
It appears as though journalists are just receiving what they have dished out to CPC supporters over the last 2 decades or more.

  3. Haha. The press can no longer control the narrative. They are desperate because Harper anticipates their every move. Love the fact that Harper pre-screens CPC events. The dismantling of the consortium debates was a masterstroke too.

  4. You missed the point skip. The whole plan is to defeat a conservative minority and install themselves into power . There will be no second election.

  5. “Wouldn’t have anything to do with Premier Wynne’s woody for Justin?”
Think that should read “silicon” instead of “woody”

  6. You lost me away back at “woodies” and “strap-ons” and “wet dreams” and all that stuff! I am at the age that mass confusion is the result of sexual definitions et al. I can’t even remember the alphabet after all this GBLt … whatever. I am personally more interested in keeping my sanity than keeping my sexuality under control. As a matter of fact, since having THAT operation, my body refuses to give me any sort of indication as to what might be the cause of any salacious or involuntary movements in the groinal area. I do, however, sleep peacefully.

  7. All major Canadian news outlets, including wire services quoted on music and entertainment channels have made their lead story the narrative that Harper supporters are rabid, aggressive and generally mindless persons who can’t bear to see their leader have to fave up to tough questions.
I scanned the radio on the way home from work, and this story was the lead on every single channel, including all of the music stations owned by Bell Media.
Since leftist journalists (which is most of them), have failed to gain traction attacking the Conservative party directly, they have changed the emphasis to attack its supporters. The subtext of the story is “see what horrible, doctrinaire, and bullying people conservatives are?”.
This story was jumped on so whole-heartedly, I believe that some journalists have been waiting for exactly this opportunity.
This is a disturbing new tactic for influencing campaigns and in a fairer world it would backfire in a spectacular fashion. I think that the press will get away with this, though, because they’ve been preparing the ground for this approach for over a decade.

  8. “journos being shouted down”? Glen McGregor says it as though he thinks it’s a bad thing. Heck, if MSM journos got what they really deserved, they’d be using tire irons to pry pineapples wrapped in concertina wire out of their colons.

  9. There will be no Tory minority – the nd and LP will coalesce.
Check my previous post and do tell what the cpc could have done more to the right and have survived politically.

  10. It’s becoming more asinine by the day listening to the hungry hounds in the media with the same old lines, about Harper being dogged by the Duffy trial. Funny thing is, they are the dogs doing the dogging so they’re reporting on their own actions.

  11. Well said @ 2:45.
We have not had center right prime ministers since Laurier and Borden. Harper has moved the goal posts back a little in some areas. Bennett, with his version of the New Deal, and King, with social programs, began to the move the bar to the left and it moved rapidly left under Trudeau with control of people’s personal lives. Now people like John think anyone to the right of that far left bar is a fascist.
John, “You can’t exercise the kinds of control Harper does and have a free and open government regardless of whether it’s left or right. John forgets Trudeau and Chretien. John also ignores writers like Ibbitson, a Liberal, who wrote in his book, “The big Shift” (I think it was there) that the PMO under Trudeau, Chretien began to concentrate more central power. Somehow when Harper carries on that practice of controlling the message it is wrong.

  12. Why wouldn’t you shout obscenities at a Canadian ‘journalist’?
It’s about time they called out the liars.

  13. Given the proven collusion of our journalists, why would we expect anything different?
I suspect this is another narrative dreamed up by the Canadian Media Guild.
Funny thing, somehow these presstitiutes feel we must respect them, even after we catch them lying to us.
I guess they think so highly of themselves that the need to meet their market is lost on them.
    What are they selling us?
partisan, propaganda and partial truths, when they are not just making stuff up.
CBC is hopeless, Climate Gate never happened, Adscam was a rounding error, Global Warming,..
Now the disgust taxpayers have for these pompous parasites is growing, you sit through a presentation by the Prime Minister, the questions open.. and these fools start pushing their agenda, not one question about the matter at hand.
I would be telling the Urnalist to F Off too.
    Useless partisan hacks.
First question for Journalist;”Are you contributing to the Canadian Media Guild”?If yes” Who do you represent here”?
If no” So you are a scab”?
    Loads of fun.
They, the presstitutes badmouth and lie to us and we will return the favour.

  14. Hey microagresive white guy. Very good on the nom de plume! Unfortunately for you my feelings are hurt. You never gave me a chance to come up with that myself. Can I at least have a blog participation medal?

  15. I’ve been e-mailing Mary Agnes Welch – maryagneswelch@gmail.com – the campaign spokesman for the ‘Journalism Is’ campaign that is trying to renew the public’s faith in journalism. I asked her how we can consider a campaign sponsored by Unifor (Canada’s largest amalgamated union) as fair and credible.
She said she believed their sponsors showed a broad spectrum of opinion. Who are some of their sponsors, you ask? Well, Ryerson School of Journalism, Rabble.ca, the Communications Workers of America, the Toronto Star, PostMedia, Cartt.ca (which does not really explain who they are) and a dozen others. If you want to become a partner or sponsor, who do you call? Not a media operator but Unifor, who she admitted, supplied the seed money for the campaign.
According to her, they get just as many complaints accusing them of being corporate shills by NDP supporters.
    Check it out here: http://journalismis.ca/partners/

  16. I had seen on the television the irate supporter of Prime Minister Harper. Most unfortunate was the anger, but eventually there has to be a boiling point.
I am tired of the pre-election hype and just want the whole thing to be settled at the ballot box.

  17. This is good stuff. People are fair, but they’ve finally given up the pathetically partisan media class. Other people of other party affiliations may think it’s acceptable to have unionized journos campaigning, but that’s because it will probably work for them – Conservative supporters, party members or not, know the game has been rigged for decades.
Glen is going to look back on this as the “good old days”….

  18. DanBC
The changes to the CEAA and the NWPA were very significant, In BC only we went from 500 CEAA reviews to 12. There is a huge mess coming 2019 from the change of the NWPA to the NPA, but I will be gone by the time that poop hits the rotary device, much of it primed by changes in the NWPA in 2009, which were minor changes which would have stayed minor except for the way they wrote the NPA.
As they say “Legislate in haste, repent at leisure”
