    When I was a kid , we could travel to Jamaica, Australia and New Zealand, even Hong Kong, without a passport if we were Canadian (British Commonwealth Citizens) of legal age. Until Trudeau sold us out and traded us in for the Charter. That’s all I’m saying, I’m too old to get arrested.

  20. Heard that an ex Chretien MP is jumping on the save door to door delivery band wagon.
    Seems there is some kind of legal action the mayor of Montreal is joining to stop Canada Post from ending door to door.
    My guess is that Codierre isn’t risking his own money on this and he gets some free advertising to enlarge his national profile….
    I’m going to presume that there are liberals that are 1 getting tired of losing elections 2 if they are Quebec liberals feel its their turn to run the country again and 3 are making contingency plans for a post election leadership coup should the current leader do poorly at the polls.
    Might want to keep your ears open for rumours of leadership camps organizing to replace Leisuresuit Larry.

    Unfortunately, the CBC staff that were used and abused would have to speak out to the same people that protected Jian the first go-round.
    A CBC employee that made waves today about the subject would have to be brave, and hopefully have another career to fall back on.
    The CBC hopes that the subject is contained and they have weathered the storm. Anyone that reopens that can of worms, best be prepared for what slithers out.
    I doubt that all the abused have told their story. As tears and time go by, they will have moved on.
    However, when the trial is done and over, if anyone was abused after the time that the CBC first heard of Jian’s predilections, they will have a strong case against the CBC.
    CBC would likely lose, and we will pay for it. But short-term pain for long term gain, I’m OK with that.
