1. Re: The USA in decline!! That’s an understatement!! I’m glad I live in Canada.
I used to holiday in the USA. My last two trips were in Australia and New Zealand.
Here is but one place I visited. Water temp in coral sea in Jan. and Feb is about 29C.
A tad more expensive–but no need to wear a bullet proof vest when you enter the ferry terminal. Australia feels like home.

The prime minister of Canada likes to hold everyone to account but himself. It’s a dictator thing. Stephen Harper says he won’t be called to testify at Senator Mike Duffy’s criminal trial. Usually lawyers get to decide that, not prospective witnesses. Still, he’s probably right. Harper also says the reason he won’t be called is that he doesn’t know anything about the alleged criminal matters now before the court. Nothing could be further from the truth.

3. A bear and a rabbit are taking a shit in the woods.
The bear turns to the rabbit and asks conversationally: “You ever have a
problem with shit sticking to your fur?”
The rabbit, smugly, replies: “Nope, never.”
The bear says “Good to hear it,” picks up the rabbit and wipes his ass with
the bunny.

Meanwhile Obama’s priorities are improving relations with Cuba and Iran and optional transgendered bathrooms for White House staff.

7. Trolling for Putin: Russia’s information war explainedAFP
Marina Koreneva 9 hours ago
Saint Petersburg (AFP) – Lyudmila Savchuk says it was money that wooed her into the ranks of the Kremlin’s online army, where she bombarded website comment pages with eulogies of President Vladimir Putin, while mocking his adversaries.
“Putin is great,” “Ukrainians are Fascists,” “Europe is decadent”: Savchuk, 34, listed the main messages she was told to put out on Internet forums after responding to a job advertisement online.
“Our job was to write in a pro-government way, to interpret all events in a way that glorifies the government’s politics and Putin personally,” she said.
Performing her duties as an Internet “troll”, Savchuk kept up several blogs on the popular Russian platform LiveJournal, juggling the virtual identities of a housewife, a student and an athlete.
While the blogs themselves would be filled with apolitical content about life in Russia, she was paid to use the account identities to comment on other news sites and online discussions, leaving 100 comments on an average day.
Every morning, she says, she would get assignments for the day, a list of subjects on which to comment and ideas to propagate

8. Julian Covey only lives a mile or two from me. His real name is Robert Anson although he recorded under several pseudonyms including Philamore Lincoln for his album, “The North Wind Blew South.” He wrote the song “Temma Harbour” which was a hit for Mary Hopkin, played a concert with the Who replacing a sick Keith Moon and also with Brian Auger and the Trinity.

RCMP Commissioner Bob Paulson has confirmed the assertions by Canada’s Minister of Aboriginal Affairs that 70 per cent of the aboriginal women who are murdered in Canada were killed by indigenous men,”.

11. The police have an active file open on every missing person in Canada. Every unsolved murder is an active investigation. What purpose would an inquiry serve?
And while I’m at it, what % of murdered aboriginal men are killed by indigenous men?

12. My family and I moved from Saskatchewan to Arizona… and I must say… life is much better here, by all reasonable measures.
Furthermore, I know lots of Candians who’ve moved Stateside(lots), and EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM does EVERYTHING in their power to NOT have to move back to Canada. The standard of living is simply too far superior in the States, and the costs are much cheaper.
It’s not even close.
With all due respect, I propose that you don’t know what you are talking about. Right?

13. Eddie Murphy… is that you?

“Fred F. Mueller at the European Institute for Climate and Energy (EIKE) here writes about how the storm that swept across Europe in late March exposed the lies of the German Energiewende (transition to renewable energies).
With the current rate of growth in renewable energy installations, Mueller writes that it’s just a question of time before the grid gets overloaded just by the renewable energies under certain weather conditions and that it will no longer be possible to dump the surplus uncontrollably fed in power into neighboring power markets.”

So what are you going to do?? Hold me at gun point until I say, ”Arizona is better than Australia??”
It’s interesting to not that when I lived in Cairns, Qsld. for a month and a half, my neighbour was from Phoenix, Arizona, his wife was from Albuquerque, New Mexico. When I asked, ”Why did you move here??” their reply was, ”We’re fed up of the gun culture.”
So am I!! People move to Arizona but for one reason. It’s cheap!!

“Liberals’ latest angst: It’s all about Eve Adams”
“One senior Liberal organizer, who has been active on the federal front and asked that his name not be used, describes the decision to embrace Ms. Adams as “stupidity,” especially given that Mr. Trudeau “ran around” saying nominations were open and he would not appoint people.
He says he may sit this election out – and some provincial Liberals feel the same way.
Mike Colle, the long-time Eglinton-Lawrence Liberal MPP, has helped his federal counterparts in past general elections – but says he “won’t go near her” if she becomes the candidate.
In fact, he’s not talking to her or her campaign manager, Tom Allison, a successful and respected Liberal organizer. Mr. Colle says Mr. Allison lectured him about being loyal to the party. “‘You’re using that word loyalty in terms of Eve Adams?’” Mr. Colle says he said to Mr. Allison. “I don’t want to talk about it.”
