On Tuesday, United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) officials revealed that the agency processed nearly seven million immigration-related applications in just one year alone (fiscal year 2014). Because the agency does not have the resources to conduct in-person interviews with every applicant, officials noted that applicants for President Barack Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood (DACA) program did not have to go though face-to-face interviews before being granted temporary amnesty.
Members of other demographics have not been so warmly welcomed.
Seeking political asylum because you can’t homeschool your kids back home? Sorry folks, that’s hardly a form of persecution. Plus, homeschooling is illegal in many countries — do you really want to set such a new low bar, which would bring in a flood of additional refugee claimants?

Now, if these people were Muslim or Venezuelan agents there would be no problem.
Soon enough the USA will be norteno Brazil. You can bet McConnell, Boehner and the rest of the GOP leadership will shrug and acquiesce. Canada had better start building a border fence from the Pacific to the Atlantic. I mourn for my country and am content that most of my years are behind me, and it is sad that most of the world will never understand what has been lost.

As to “low bar”, I have known home-schooled children who did much better than their friends who received public education in Ontario.

You could say that McConnell is Harry Reid’s piss-Ant (Bitch),but also it could be that his brain is stuck in the 1960’s when bi-partisan cooperation was possible. Until Republicans replace McConnell they will have to get the approval of Harry on all legislation. Harry now runs the Senate. If they moved McConnell’s office to the washroom he may have time to get his head out of his butt

Actually persecution is -exactly- what that is. There is no more pernicious form of persecution than the State taking your children away. Particularly because you refused to submit to whatever cr@p the schools dish out.
