    @rmohamed_nc @conradhackett good for you!
A sexual act by nature (fetish) the cleveland steamer is when one person craps on another person’s chest and (very important) then sits down and rocks back and forth like a steam roller.

  2. Robert L, just because they’re CPC doesn’t mean you have to defend the indefensible or say “the Libs did worse”. Holding feet to fire is a conservative trait and a good one.

  3. Maybe if we didn’t have a biased, liberal friendly media willing to cover up liberal fraud but quick to jump on the slightest hint of conservative scandal, whether real or imagined, then we wouldn’t be seeing money spent on an ad campaign to show people what said media will ignore. Besides, this is a story from the Toronto Star. Not exactly a credible media source.

  4. At least the money was really spent on advertising. I’ve seen them myself. Now we can debate whether they’re necessary. I didn’t need them.

  5. Globe and Mail, Saturday, Dec. 13. Killed parents, claims orphan status:
    http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/politics/wynne-asks-harper-to-end-confrontation-between-ottawa-and-ontario/article22040336/
Globe: “All Kathleen Wynne wants from Stephen Harper this holiday season is peace, goodwill – and billions of infrastructure dollars.”
The Ontario Liberals took billions of hard-earned tax dollars and essentially burned them, through their idiotic ongoing green energy policy waste. If ever a Canadian politician needed to be told to F Off by the federal government, Kathleen Wynne needs to hear it now.
No peace and goodwill for Wynne until the Liberals’ vandalism of Ontario’s economy ends.

  6. No, we don’t need them. We know that the government actually does stuff Other than destroying our country and lining their pockets while they do it like the last liberal government we had. But many people I know believe the nonsense from the MSM and think that we have a dictatorship running things. Their misinformed ignorance saddens me.

  7. Majority governments are de-facto dictatorships, with a short life, and few effective checks and balances. They can be relatively benign like the present government, or they can be malignant and maleficent like the previous Lieberal regime.

  8. http://news.nationalpost.com/2014/12/11/ludicrous-advice-against-prostate-cancer-screening-is-causing-needless-deaths-study/
    – “A new Canadian study suggests some men are likely to die needlessly because of expert reports that discouraged use of a common test for prostate cancer, says a leading urologist, adding fuel to a heated debate around mass cancer screening.”
    – “In a contentious 2012 report, the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force advised against using [the prostate-specific antigen test] to screen asymptomatic men, arguing it saved few, if any, extra lives, yet led to people being treated for malignancies that would likely never have done them harm. Prostate-cancer therapy can itself trigger incontinence or impotence.”
    – “A Canadian version of the task force issued similar recommendations in October.”
It makes me wonder how many of these task force reports were written by feminists.
In the meantime, the science is very far from “settled”.

  10. Two cool summers in a row have now allowed the pack to increase and then hold on to a good deal of its volume.
And while the ice is still much reduced compared with the 20,000 cu km that used to stick around in the Octobers of the early 1980s, there is no evidence to indicate a collapse is imminent.

“It was not supposed to be like this.”
    …-
“How the Lima climate change talks failed
Lima has underscored what we already knew: that the official negotiators are just not capable of cracking the issues on the table”
“No doubt we should have expected it. The latest round of climate change negotiations in Lima, Peru – which opened with high hopes – have ended up failing to fulfil them. Supposed to clear away most of the blocks in the road to reaching a formal agreement to combat climate change in Paris next December, it merely – like similar sessions over the last two years – kicked the can down it instead. So the big issues will have to be resolved over the next 12 months, or in Paris itself, making success much less likely.
It was not supposed to be like this.”

  14. The present Ontario Liberal government is an example of a malignant majority. Exhibit A being their reaction to the Auditor’s report, specifically their Energy Minister’s arrogant retort, attacking the messenger for telling the facts of their incompetence, basically saying it’s too complicated for her to understand. Wynne of course marches arrogantly on as she pumps her arms blaming the PM.

  15. Mohammed’s OPEC: Dead.
“Oil cartel has lost its purpose now that it can no longer corner the market”
    …-
“Opinion: It’s time for OPEC to surrender”
“OPEC — the cartel that used to bully superpowers, unnerve financial markets, and bilk drivers throughout the world — is clinically dead.”
“… fundamentally oil’s collapse is about deeper trends that signal the end of an era.”

  16. Re:NV53’s commwnt:
“Prostate-cancer therapy can itself trigger incontinence or impotence.”
The real elephant in the room is the prostate biopsy. Consent forms are vague at best and assuredly will not fully describe all associated risks. The forms are used more as a documentary hurdle rather than a vital step to ensure fully informed consent. Any mention of prophylactic benefit will be conspicuous by its absence. That said the biopsy is just Easter egging, in that only random samples are taken.
The procedure – whether transrectal or transperineral is fraught with iatrogenic issues of pain, bleeding, urination issues and bacterial infection – specifically sepsis, which is life threatening. Much more common than urologists admit.

  17. Key dates in the evolution of reefer madness:
    http://www.nationalnewswatch.com/2014/12/15/key-dates-in-the-evolution-of-canadian-attitudes-laws-regarding-marijuana/#.VI88MnvQMjx
    Some highlights:
1922: Pioneering feminist Emily Murphy publishes an inflammatory book, The Black Candle. She claims marijuana turns its users into homicidal maniacs.
1969: Canadian government establishes a Commission of Inquiry Into the Non-Medical Use of Drugs, known as the Le Dain commission after its chairman, Gerald Le Dain.
1972: The commission recommends decriminalizing simple cannabis possession and cultivation for personal purposes.
1976: The Netherlands effectively decriminalizes marijuana.
1977: Then-prime minister Pierre Trudeau tells a group of students: “If you have a joint and you’re smoking it for your private pleasure, you shouldn’t be hassled.”
2010: Trudeau`s son Justin smokes some OPs.
2013: New regulations change the Canadian medical marijuana access rules, shifting to licensed commercial growers for supply and away from homegrown. Some 37,800 people authorized to possess marijuana under the federal program, up from fewer than 100 in 2001.
OK I admit it, I added the 2010 JT highlight: faked but true!

  18. OT but an important question. Has anyone here been permanently banned from commenting on the CBC website?
I just have for commenting on a story about some guys at Dalhousie University posting sexist comments on Facebook. I merely said “Boys will be boys”.

  19. “The torture report as the ultimate harvest of media bias”
“… the biggest share of the blame must accrue to the Senate Democrats who have allowed themselves to become captives of the anti-American left. They in turn are egged on by the media, whom the Democrats know they can trust not to moderate their treatment of the report as a scandal by any mention of the partisan nature of the conclusions drawn. Now we know that there is nothing in our public life, not even national security, that can be treated as being above partisanship.”
