Gruber was right, abortions for slum mothers does reduce crime and welfare cost.
Slum mothers also whelp future liberal/democrats, so there is a political dimension to it as well. If you think abortions on welfare moms should be stopped are you prepared for the unintended consequences of blindly holding to religious beliefs?

  2. Wow, 2 hateful little guys blinded by their own hate to the point of advocating abortion based on class or race. If my opposition to that makes me a kook, I’m all in.

  3. Only fools help their enemies breed more soldiers to kill and rape their grandchildren, but blind primitive religions can do that to people.

  4. Seen on a gas pump at Costco on Yellowhead Trail in Calgary today. Regular gas for 82.9 cents a gallon.
CBC.Ca has been predicting gloom and doom for Western Canada by telling it’s Liberal followers that the drop in oil prices could cause reduced incomes at Canada’s major banks.

Yet this morning on CTV’s question period, TD’s top economist Craig Alexander revealed that Western Canada’s oil industry is actually doing quite well.

  6. Not denying the hateful little guy label or anything, but my comment was suggesting that John Galt aka North of 60 should (un)live by his own rules.

  7. Abortions for all persons not wanting children are available in Canada. It’s a free country. You got a problem with that? People who don’t like abortions shouldn’t get them.

  8. Seen on a gas pump at Costco on Yellowhead Trail in Calgary today. Regular gas for 82.9 cents a gallon.
Really? That’s unbelievably cheap. In Calgary Alberta Canada? Was that US or Imperial gallons?

  9. Aww, all you’ve got is personal attacks? Unable do discuss a subject objectively, eh? That’s pitiful for a grown adult. Go sit at the little table, the adults are talking.

  10. Alberta is the freest place in North America. So says the latest edition of Economic Freedom of North America, a report the Fraser Institute has produced for the past decade based on data going back 30 years.
The authors looked at jurisdictions through Canada, the United States and Mexico and graded them on a scale from 1 to 10.
Alberta received the highest score, with 8.2. Saskatchewan came in second with 8.0. And Newfoundland and Labrador, British Columbia and Texas all tied for third with 7.7.

  11. You’re now stating that people who don’t share your particular beliefs should be dead.
That’s just so very Muslim of you. Do those Muslim inspired intolerant beliefs give you a sense of pride?

  12. Yellowhead’s in Edmonton, not Calgary. Cheapest here is about 94.9 or so. Saw 92.4 on the Deerfoot Esso near Balzac.
Yes, we have a place called Balzac.

“The Earth is presently in an interglacial period—a period between ice ages. Since the end of the last ice age, Earth’s surface temperatures have been above the temperature needed to maintain ice sheets and glaciers, which covered much of the land masses at mid-to-high latitudes in the Northern Hemisphere. As a result, those ice sheets and glaciers have been melting for tens of thousands of years and sea levels have risen…and will continue to rise until the start of the next ice age.”

“Significant snow possible Tuesday evening through Wednesday.
Significant snow is expected through the regions beginning Tuesday evening along the St Lawrence River due to an East Coast storm. The snow will spread northward and become heavier by Wednesday morning through the regions impacting travel.
There is some uncertainty about how much snow will be associated with this system, however storm totals could exceed 25 centimetres before the system depart Eastern Ontario in Thursday morning.”

  14. What will our Immigration Minister really do about effed up creeps/home grown converts to Islam who go off to fight against us with the so-called stateless Islamic State? If they attempt to return will they be allowed in and incarcerated?
Why are we still paying welfare to those of the Khadr klan when the old dame and her daughter, clad in black full burkas, openly said they would be proud to be martyrs for their cause? What does it take to have passports and citizenship revoked when we have troops in the field fighting against the terrorists they support? Are we going to wait until Little Omar gets his millions from us so they can all leave and support their cause against us?
    Bloody idiocy.

  15. http://calgaryherald.com/life/homes/condos/six-storey-wood-frame-construction-considered-by-province

Bill 203 would see the province green-light six-storey wood-frame construction. If approved, Alberta would join British Columbia, Quebec and (in 2015) Ontario in allowing wood to be used above four storeys — the previous limit — which up until now had been restricted to concrete and steel. The City of Calgary recently revised its building code to raise the limit.

    What could possibly go wrong?
Massive blaze at apartment complex lights up Los Angeles night sky and closes two freeways, as 250 firefighters battle to get it under control
    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2865289/Massive-LA-fire-shuts-parts-2-freeways.html

The 1.3million-square-foot building had two floors of concrete construction with five floors of wood-frame construction on top. It encompassed nearly an entire city block.

Damage is estimated to be in the millions

Idiots! Good photos of the fire at the link.

  16. that disaster already happened once in Calgary, The Erlton blaze started in a condo under construction (roofers?) which then took out at least one other building and affected several others nearby.
Builders now try to cover up exposed framing as soon as possible.
Exterior sheathing is meant to be fire resistant on exposures to other buildings.
Still won’t stop a determined arsonist. Or negligent trades

  17. Ahh yes… once again the truth is unacceptable; therefore, the numbers are to be ignored and unspoken of. Simply stating the truth of the matter DOES NOT mean that it is something to act on. For example, one could argue that if we didn’t have African Americans in the USA there would be a likely drop in rioting and arson in the Ferguson area. Now, does this justify the ‘post birth abortion’ of African Americans in the St. Louis area? Obviously not.
There is no doubt that Gruber’s analysis of the numbers(on the aforementioned issue), and the gullibility of Americans is accurate; or so my intuition tells me. That said, just because what Gruber has stated is truthful; it does not make it moral to carry-out the act that he is musing about. Because of this… the NAZI analogy is accurate.
In other words, just because it is cheaper to kill someone rather than let them live… does not justify the homicide IMO.
    John Galt
You do not have to be a religious person to disagree with homicide, before or after birth. Your comment comes-off as bigoted.

Reacting to Mary Landrieu’s crushing defeat in the Louisiana Senate runoff on Saturday, Tomasky rushed to his computer and penned this instant classic:
I don’t remember a much sadder sight in domestic politics in my lifetime than that of Mary Landrieu schlumpfing around these last few weeks trying to save a Senate seat that was obviously lost. It was like witnessing the last two weeks of the life of a blind and toothless dog you knew the vet was just itching to destroy.”

“Leading polar bear biologists knew by November 2013 that mark-recapture studies showed the Western Hudson Bay subpopulation had not changed appreciably since 2004 but none said so.
