Xiat, there is nothing – NOTHING – the Harper government could have done to reverse the current situation around personal disarmament. There is only so much rolling back of the statist policies put in place by decades of leftists and CINOs that can be accomplished in any term, or two terms, or generations. Think how long it took all that creeping statism to manifest, while we Canadians enjoyed our hockey and our beer and the TV that hypnotized us into apathy. Look how Turdeau has jumped on the First Nationals fiscal accountability deal and immediately promised to reverse it, and how he is being cheered for it!
No – politics in this country means veering wildly from rationality to dribbling insanity and back again, and I don’t see much hope for that changing unless the average IQ and a love of reason take a sharp upward turn.

He was charged with Burglary 2nd Degree Felony, Armed Assault/ Serious Personal Injury, a 1st degree Felony and 2 counts of Undefined Felony Assault. The Local News (Channel 2, FOX) stated he “Had No ADULT RECORD” but omitted the fact that he looked like he was out on bail awaiting trial. HE assaulted a Ferguson Police Officer after shop-lifting from the Quiktrip that was looted and burned early this week
