Umm reality check, Kerry’s surgery bills have nothing to do with him comments, which seem all over the map, on one point affirming the right of Israeli self-defence, on another, scolding them for causing casualties. What has happened to the US leadership of this issue? Why is the diplomatic heavy lifting left to Canada and other forthright nations?
    BTW Mr Kerry, a “pinpoint operation” is not possible given Hamas’s war crimes of using their people to protect their missiles, as Netanyahu has so succinctly pointed out.
    What does Kerry plan to do when he “gets over there.” Perhaps he could broker a “ceasefire” aka Hamas has had the s**t sufficiently kicked out of them, or has run out of missiles. That will be am important “diplomatic moment.”
    We need some political hours not quips and slogans. Cut off Hamas, close the border with Egypt and threaten Iran with destruction of their arms shipments, along with the outing of their Sunni/Shiite struggle BS.

    Other than that, Lurch has nothing to offer but mixed messages from a self-imposed, weakened and ineffectual power. That and some luxury hotel stays and exquisite meals on printed funny money.
    The US is such an embarassment in this age!
    The biggest mistake? Acting as if the Pallies and Israel have equal rights and equal needs. So long as Lurch and co. keep up this false premise, Israel will, privately, disrespect the Yanks, and not agree to anything brokered by Lurch and Bammer.

    The US/Kerry/Obama have no respect from Hamas either, only sensing opportunity created by weakness; you have to point a gun at their head to get them to respect you. Bottom line, Islamism is the scourge of the world and needs to be eliminated, without references to “root causes.” Muslims suffer more under their jackboots than anything we can do.
    The cause suffering upon their own people, then say infidels must suffer and feel fear in the same way. That’s revenge, that’s stupidity, that’s bigotry, that’s not leadership.
    A rabid dog has to be put down immediately, we can figure out how it got rabies later if we wish.

People apparently feel that old age is a curse to be denied, and they’ll prolong the appearance of youth for as long as they can.     So much for aging gracefully. People age insecurely, vainly trying to recapture themselves of 10 years ago.
