The Maldives are obviously sinking into the sea. EVACUATE, before it’s too late!

However, Wikipedia notes that after the 2004 tsunami,
“A rebound in tourism, post-tsunami reconstruction, and development of new resorts helped the economy recover quickly and showed an 18% increase on 2006” so obviously developers don;t
believe in sea level rise.
Island countries are made up of two basic types: a) coral reefs and b) volcanic islands.
The Maldives are type a).

That part of the reef that protrudes above the water today and is known as ‘the Maldives’ used to be underwater.
Reefs grow under water and die when out of water.
Water covering the Maldives would be a win from the current environmental viewpoint because the reef would grow back where currently a bunch of Muslims are living.
Coral Islands actually grow to accommodate sea level rise.

If I had a choice between believing climate “scientists” and resort developers, I’d go with the developers.
Look at the island of Manhattan, as seen from sea level. A sage once said (I’m paraphrasing) “I’ll believe in AGW when the people who say they believe in it start acting like they believe in it.”
Went to a party at Collingwood in August of 08, rich people from all over, was my rich sister in laws 50th, got into a heated discussion with a bunch over globull warming with all the Toronto chow chows excoriating me because of Albertas tarrrrsands and the ruination of the planet because of them, I stated that 7 million lefties crapping into a beautiful lake all day was far worse, but one lady from New York was on my side saying the whole AWG thing was the same, as the stuff the lefties flush into Lake Ontario, sister in law was still a devout Suzukiest when I left. The other day she sent her sister a picture from the cottage on Georgian Bay, of the bay completely frozen over, never before have I seen this was the caption. These people are truly brain dead and not the type we want making big decisions, she grew up on the farm in Sask., but started reading the Toronto Star 30 years ago and the results of dumbing down are truly apparent.

The Maldives are good for the Canadian economy – the principal means of local air travel is the deHavilland Canada Twin Otter on floats. They have lots and we’re building more. Mind you, they have just built a fancy airport for aeroplanes on wheels, which tells you how serious they are about sinking out of sight!
I will weep not for the Maldives Islands. Not even a tear if global warming wasn’t a UN inspired orgasm of Marxism conjoined with Islam. To infiltrate , than compromise the West’s economies. To force producing Nations to subsidise the Worlds Dictators with Money, while they pillage their Countries treasuries.

coral reefs only grow underwater , deltas only form under water. The sealevel in the Maldives was obviously higher than it is now and the river level in Delta BC was higher than it is now.
