  1. Q: How do you know if there have been liberals in the woods?
A: The bear poo has little bells in it and smells like hot pepper.
Q: How do you know if there have been conservatives in the woods?
    A: No bear poo.

  2. If this bear dies, the world as we know it will forever crumble. For this winter ursus holds the balance of nature.

  3. They should just wait a few weeks and Global Warming will melt the snow away for the bears.

  4. Perhaps the bear heard a rumour
    there were secret auditions for
    upcoming Cola Bear commercials.

  5. The CBC has this story all wrong. Can’t be happening.
The CBC has screaming at us for 20 years that Global Warming has killed off the polar bears and melted theor Arctic home.
The picture is a good photoshop.

  6. I wish it would die of its own inconsistencies. But!
This is now an official Religion of secular Humanism.
An environmental form of Nature worship. The government will fight for the right to tax air with what ever lies it deems necessary. Including using an inquisition.
Just more excuses to ravage the middle class.

  7. If Gorebal Warming really did exist, there wouldn’t have been any snow and the plow wouldn’t have been on the road.

  8. For chrissakes Kate, stop it!
This is now the second time this week you have supplied a global warming headline that offered a microsecond of euphoria followed immediately by the cold slap of reality.

  9. Revnant Dream, small correction, that is Secular Anti-humanist Religion.
Humans are the one thing they can agree to hate.
Pity these losers, one day they will gaze into a mirror.
Of course if they keep insisting that it is the abyss they are standing on the edge of, would it not be kind to give them a push?

  10. You can report typos to the CBC at the handy attachment below the article.

    Losers!”

  11. Good thing it was hit by a snowplow and not a Yugo or a
Smart Car. Somebody might have been killed!

  12. Well at least he didn’t drown. That would have meant a candlelight wake around the world with millions of people holding pictures of the victim and demanding action to curb global warming. Just no romantic notions in getting hit by a snow plow. Just another dumpster bear too stupid to get off the road.

  13. “around the Northern Peninsula town” couldn’t they have told us this was Newfoundland, or would this have hurt their narrative.
I had Google St Anthony to find the location.

  14. St. Anthony is the patron saint of lost items. Perhaps that’s where all the extinct polar bears can be found.
