The irony is, Obama destroyed the used cars with his Cash-4-Clunkers program to sell new cars for tax subsidized car companies.
That program was already a failure before the House passed the ACA and this guy believed the ACA was gonna be a successful program.
It’s one thing to run up debt into the tens of trillions or delay the approval of piplines to pander to radical environmentalists. These are all abstract things that most people don’t think affects their day-to-day life.
But make it difficult or expensive for people to get necessary healthcare, and bad governance suddenly becomes very real, political partisanship be damned.
Don’t count on anything to come from all of this. Look at all the sheep here who after spending a night in the ER with their kids waiting hours and hours and hours are still all enthusiastic about “free healthcare”.

One, tired of waiting, opts to pay a private clinic for immediate relief. He’s out of the ‘public’ lineup and now there are nine. Everyone gets their treatment sooner.
In addition, his medical premium remains in the ‘public’ system, meaning more money for treating others – again, benefiting those remaining in the queue.
The response I invariably get is that it’s “not fair.” It’s crazy, but people would rather suffer longer themselves than have someone else access that which is not financially available to themselves. I believe that psychologists somewhere did a study that reached the same conclusion – people will actually act against their own self-interest if they believe someone may enjoy an advantage.
