   It seems that they talk stupid (for they know they do, though nobody will call them on it) just to say something, anything, rather than not saying anything and hide their stupidity.

12. I hope this is considered on topic; reading American history in detail it becomes quite evident the thinking of Thomas Jefferson is characterized as the logical extension of John Locke’s writing. No surprise!
    However, what I had not put together with Jefferson was Locke was actually moving towards being a potential Palatine. His writing setting himself up to join Jefferson in the palace community of British North America at the time.
    It was the sybarite Benjamin Franklin who recognized these incipient leanings of several of the Founding Fathers. This recognition also true of other British American leaders such as John Adams; and of course George Washington. The man who established “we the people” as being for all white men at the time and this ultimately put into place with Andrew Jackson.
    Before the rabble try to throw the standard screed at this, please remember the exception of rights for slaves was part and parcel of support from the plantation cultures. Jefferson and other representatives of this culture were necessary to move the agenda forward. The agenda of self determination.
    Before someone points out George Washington as part of this culture. also please recognize he was essentially a military man and he did set the United Colonies of North America away from the proffered monarchy. Mr. President has held until now.
    Always wondered why the writing of Thomas Hobbes, vilified by British aristocracy, was not recognized for his thoughts on the true relationship of the Leviathan to the protected. Have also thought, the people superior to myself and others with independent thinking, really do want to set up a palatinate in North America.
