The Children Are Our Future

This is what happens when you try to help the brainwashed youth of Western Civilization from making an egregious mistake:
You’re called an a**hole.
I only post it because it is a perfect “visual” of the psychological delusion these kids are being brought up with in terms of their ability, futures, dreams, and potential. Not to mention how the “education-government complex” has no problem eating their own.

  1. Clearly, to teach the young how to write poorly and express zero thought is the new normal.
Teaching students how to function intellectually is beyond the capacity of today’s, no longer liberal, art’s “universities.
Almost all their courses, like the one’s this woman is enrolled in, would fit under the heading Utopian Fantasies.
Cartoon courses financed by debt and the numerically illiterate.

  2. Although the route is circuitous, encouraging young women into law is one of the best ways to help them “find themselves”. After struggling through law school, incurring mega-debt and finally landing a job at a law firm, they find they must screw their way through a partnership comprised of cruel sickos, ending up at 30 where they started but now forlorn, disillusioned, spent, rode hard, put up wet, used, abused, suffering from alcoholism, and a dose.

  3. While your information is useful and correct, your tact was not. Your attitude was needlessly condescending toward her. If your only intention were only to help rather than make her look like an idiot (even if she is), you might have gotten somewhere.

  4. well Tim, IF you are correct, it goes a long way to establishing Cappy’s point. Do you think that working in a law firm she will be handled by “kid” gloves. Having hired ppl in the past I’v found that the more educated they are, the more sensitive and useless they are in an actual work environment. So she should get used to condescension, because she’ll experience it big time in a law firm when she first starts.

  5. Actually there will be a market for “journalists” indoctrinated in statist political cleansing (this is really all lefty activism is folks) as the MSM continues to crater as an independent private business and devolve into a publicly subsidized defacto ministry of propaganda.
The Crime syndicates which now have a grip on federal power and left of center political associations/cabals, needs to turn up the soviet-styled propaganda saturation in an attempt to obliterate dissent and truth – the final stage in dumbing us down and making us servile to a criminal state – and to avoid popular revolt against the anti-constitutionalism of criminal statism in the governing parties. Unless things change drastically and decisively we may never see another constitutionally constrained government in the US in our lifetime, let alone a republican POTUS.
Criminal statism the (Dem power cartel) depends on systemic corruption, propaganda, intimidation and elimination of dissent/opposition – things will get worse for freedom lovers and value the traditions of the old UR Republic – but things are looking up for collage level political indoctrinators and “journalism grads”.

  6. Actually y any working definition, the Captain IS an assholoe. Just sayin’. Also, he is wrong. The statistics do not support him as far a a law degree goes.

  7. What gets me is how these kids don’t seem to have families who care about them enough to notice that they’re screwing up their lives.

  8. The link you posted does not indicate that a law degree does not pay for itself in the long run. The number of graduates working in related fields is not indicated. Not is there any information on prospects in the long run. I would submit that the law grads i know are all doing very well indeed. Not a link I know but at least as good in my view as the article you linked. But hey, if you want to believe that a law degree is worthless then be my guest. I imagine my degrees would be rated as even less worthwhile but they sure served me well.

  9. OK, “JOhn S”
I’ll give you a shinny US quarter to go major in law.
Really, does anybody believe this guy? Does he even belief himself?
WHY ARE THERE SO MANY STUPID PEOPLE ON THIS PLANET!!!!????
    J-zues-H-Ka-Ryst!

  10. I’m glad it worked out for you but that does not change the fact that the Captain is right. I could show you dozens of articles like this one:
    http://ideas.time.com/2013/03/11/just-how-bad-off-are-law-school-graduates/
and would be pleased to do so if you can show me even one article that claims we need more lawyers. What we really need is tort reform and if that ever comes to pass, I figure the unemployment rate for lawyers will be about 90%. That would truly be a reason to celebrate.

  11. You can’t save ’em all. You tried, they rejected your advice. Their loss. Education and common sense are often incompatible.

  12. Methinks Aaron Clarey hath too thin a skin. When a person is a self-declared
a**hole, and runs a business called “A**hole Consulting”, is called an a**hole
the correct response would be “thank you!!”.
