Whether George Zimmerman is acquitted or convicted, and I am not making any predictions before hearing closing arguments and reading the jury instructions, the legacy of this case will be that the media never gets it right, and worse, that a group of lawyers, with the aid of a public relations team, who had a financial stake in the outcome of pending and anticipated civil litigation, were allowed to commandeer control of Florida’s criminal justice system, in pursuit of a divisive, personal agenda.
Their transformation of a tragic but spontaneous shooting into the crime of the century, and their relentless demonization of the person they deemed responsible, not for a tragic killing, but for “cold-blooded murder,” has called into question the political motives and ethics of the officials serving in the Executive branch of Florida’s government, ruined the career of other public officials, turned the lives of the Zimmerman family, who are as innocent as their grieving clients, into a nightmare, and along the way, set back any chance of a rational discussion of the very cause they were promoting, probably for years.

Not just Obama apparatchiks are pushing this race agenda but DNC hacks as well – and of course Dem-bama presstitutes comply with the demonization orders – when Zimmerman’s corpse is dragged through the streets to placate the Dem’s racist voter base, checks will be cut to those operatives in the unofficial chain of command.

The institutional left have failed miserably, so far, at securing their wet dream of massive gun control therefore Zimmerman is their demon du jour as he personifies the “excesses of a free society”. They’ve even created a unique one-time racial distinction in order to cue-up the minority pecking order. Black trumps female (just ask Mrs Clinton)and Black trumps Hispanic (maybe not so lets call him a “White Hispanic” for good measure). Of course logic would dictate that Obama then be considered a “White Black” so they don’t want to continue along that line of racialism.

The judge allowed every irrelevant fact or opinion concerning Zimmeraman but would not allow evidence of drug use and violence concerning Martin. This is the reverse of the usual procedure.

I agree. I think Zimmerman will be found guilty of manslaughter, probably, and convicted. But after the media pats themselves on the back and the LIV move on, his conviction will be overturned on the inevitable appeal.
Let’s just forget the fact that the dude wasn’t even arrested at first. If undo anger is directed at Zimmerman, it’s not because he is a power-tripping, gun-nut, vigilantee, but because his going free represents what is very, very wrong with America, and how it treats Blacks.

That Obama would comment on a case that had a good chance of being headed for the courts is an outrageous scandal. The defense would be fully justified in claiming that a fair trial became impossible after that.

I explained to my wife last week that Zimmerman would be convicted of Manslaughter. She asked “why” and this is the answer I gave her:
It’s been my observation of late that when it comes to politics/justice, and when outcomes look all but certain; the exact opposite will happen. Why? I believe this is evidence that the traditional view point in western society has finally come to an end as a majority point of view. In other words, if you have a traditional point of view regarding society, you(and I) are in the minority, and therefore, the majority of people feel the opposite; hence the trend of conservative thinkers being certain of eventual outcomes just to be completely surprised when the opposite outcomes become reality.
As a conservative, the bottom line is…our perception of events, laws, polls, and so on is the minority view; therefore, because of the nature of a democracy, the majority view is in fact reality. JMO

As much as I don’t agree with it, I think Amy has it right. Placate the Tribes so that they destroy and steal as little as possible and then post the trial and appeal result in writing and they’ll never know it happened. Sound racist? To say that the majority of crimes in the area that George was a Watch Captain in, were committed by young black males, many of whom wore hoodies to conceal their identities is considered profiling and is racist. The inmates are running the asylum.
Hey genius, guess what? Even the procecutors conceded that this “kid” was on top of Zimmerman pummeling him. So yeah Trayvon was nothing but a two bit gangster wanna be. Zimmerman probably saved some lives other than his own.
Creapingdeath: why stop there? In my little fantasy bubble, Zimmerman will go free on a unanimous decision by the jury. Zimmerman will then proceed to sue the entire prosecution including the judge into total insolvency and the last uncorrupted person at the DOJ will find a way to throw the whole kit and kaboodle into jail for attempting to pervert justice, the American constitution and “good ol’ Mom and apple pie”.
News of the verdict will be met with cheering celebrations throughout the US.

This trial is upside down from any criminal trial I have ever
seen.
In most criminal trials, it is the prosecution that appeals to
logic, reason and the law. Conversely, the defense tries to
appeal to emotion. In this case, the prosecution has appealed
to the jury through cheap theatrics and emotion.
George Zimmerman may have one thing to be afraid of: The
jury consists of (6) Gyno-Americans, just the type of people
who would most likely fall for an emotional appeal.

LCC legistlation, recently passed by the Illinois house and Senate and vetoed by the Governor, has been re-ratified by unimpeachable majority votes in both house and Senate. The veto over-ruled, the Governor may chew his arm off, but he has to now sign it into law.
It is reasonable to expect the homicide rate in Chi-town to plumet at least 30% in the first year…maybe more.
