A glimmer of sanity has happened on Canada’s Left Coast. Regular SDA readers may remember this discussion from mid-February about the Pidgin Restaurant in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside neighbourhood.
When it was revealed that the “protesters” were being funded by the Vancity credit union, yours truly complained to them on their Facebook page, as well as others doing the same publicly & privately. It’s unclear whether Vancity took any steps right away. But this “protest” through the streets of tourist-laden Gastown on May 2nd may have been the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back and finally shamed the financial institution into action.
Finally, this past Thursday the unelected totalitarian thugs apparatchiks and their leaders stood down from their ongoing actions. Long overdue.
To think our tax dollars go to these masked thugs. That we by welfare allow this kind of beast to roam our streets.
To say nothing of the 3 bandit’s who run the whole poverty charade for personnel gain.
Wet coast street commies funded by capitalist interests. I think the story goes deeper than this. Obviously these anarcho-Marxist street thugs provide a service to some unscrupulous moneyed interests. Historically the service provided is to shut down their competitors or move investment capital/consume money to areas they own.
Follow the motive for funding of the anti-gentrification – it smells.
Me thinks the presstitutes should be forced by law, yet another stupid law, to document the money trail on all social justice groups, in print, each time they swoon over these agents of social decay.
This would put the context, from and centre, who benefits from the thuggery of these losers, who provides the wealth enabling their obscene actions?
I would argue such a requirement would restore social responsibility, rather quickly.
Exposing some influential cowards in the process as well as focusing public attention upon the script writers rather than the paid agents.

As far as the gaming grants, its a travesty to see these useless anarchist groups, which provide nothing positive to society, get scarce funds, that many youth sports orgs. need and get shorted on. As a board member of a small local sports org., we jump thru hoops in the application forms, just to receive up to $5000 in a gaming grant, which basically keeps our org. alive, and prevents us from increaing fees to the kids of another $100 a season.
To see these scumbags receive money is revolting
