    454guy…true.You do not give a weapon with 300 lbs of recoil to a 110 lb woman,or man,without teaching them the proper way to hold and stance. The only mark anybody should get from firing any weapon is a cuff upside the head for not keeping it pointed in a safe direction.Do the clowns taking these vids not realize how simple it would be for one of these shooters staggering backwards/falling/etc. to blow their brains out? Didn’t think so.

  8. OMG. Someone take the shotguns and rifles out of the hands of those people or teach them properly how to hold a firearm, how to adopt a correct stance and how to aim. There is something to be said for requiring proper firearms training as part of ownership.

    And I agree with 454,the guys who filmed this without giving those girls proper training may think they made a comedic masterpiece, but anti-gun people could easily turn the intent around to show how dangerous guns are,especially to women.
    I wouldn’t call them azzholes,though, more like shi*heads.
    When my wife and I were young,I taught her to use my 7mm Remington magnum,with no problem. She was tiny 5’4″, 112 pounds,and had no trouble firing the rifle accurately,although she did say it kicked hard,which it does.

    I offered him a shot with this double I have with 22″ tubes…with a 00 buck….
    Sucker went for it.
    He wasn’t injured, but it planted him on his butt and the trigger guard bruised his knuckles…..
    I only use high brass in that device in an emergency….always bruises my fingers….something about the length….
    I would never allow a woman or a slight built fella try that….it’s physics….

  12. A practical demonstration of two things – first that the roundn the AR15 is chambered for was chosen for its low recoil, something that female enforcement staff could handle easily. Second, we see why Joe Byden is nick named “ol’ flatulator” , because he talks out of his arse most of the time because his mouth can’t stand the taste of what he’s saying.

    Of course the fact that it’s black and an autoloader would probably make ol’ Joe soil himself.

  14. All else being equal, the double will seem to recoil less than a single because it will have more weight to absorb the energy. Shorter barrels increase perceived or felt recoil because the muzzle blast is a bit closer to the shooter, and heavier projectiles cause more felt recoil than lighter ones (e.g. 00buckshot versus birdshot.)

I think that the depictions of women firing 12 ga. shotguns with the exception of the one woman that was knocked flat after the 3rd round from a SA 12 ga., were accurate depictions of the casual and untrained female shooter, of the type portrayed by Biden the Fool, and safe to others. The SA 12 could have gone sideways and become a horror story in a heart-beat.
    That having been said, there’s no question that something that will deliver multiple 55 gr. bullets on target is a pretty fearsome weapon and limiting the mag capacity is ridiculous, this is a life and death situation, not a politically correct field exercise.

  17. A 100 lb woman should be able to handle a 12 gauge. These women simply weren’t properly instructed. I was shooting a 12 gauge before I was 100 lb when I was maybe 12 years old and never had any ill effects whatsoever. I saw lots of women in the military in 7.62 mm days and never saw one with any kind of problem and they had a pretty good recoil. Now girls throwing hand grenades is a situation to avoid at all costs, seriously. Mind you, now in the military everyone uses 5.56 mm girl guns.

  18. The clip was funny and very well makes the point that that idiot Joe Biden hasn’t a clue what he is talking about.
    That said, as already mentioned, everyone, female and male should have proper firearms training before handling any firearm. Too easy to get hurt fooling around.
    If women really want to protect themselves from predators they should have a 57mm M18A1 recoiless rifle using H.E. rounds.

  19. First time I fired the FN-FAL it kicked me in the face so hard I got a huge bruise. That was in the militia, supposedly with “expert” supervision and training. My old man took one look at that bruise and taught me the correct way.
    Since then there’s been a lot of water under the bridge. Nobody I’ve ever taught to shoot has -ever- gotten kicked in the face like that. Men, women, kids, doesn’t matter.
    Women Can Shoot ANYTHING. I’m 100% certain I could teach the famously miniscule Kathy Shaidle to shoot magnum slugs out of a 12 gauge pump. Stance, attitude, and a frickin’ recoil pad, that’s all it takes.
    I’m not going to be able to teach her to -like- it though, because as we all know, recoil sucks.

  20. I understand the point the video was trying to make, but exaggerating bad technique doesn’t make for a definitive argument, it just leaves it open to legitimate criticism. If you are just going for a comic rebuttal to Joe Biden, it works, but that’s about it.

The old,but still reliable,7.62mm FNC1(.303 for the non-metric types).Shoot that sucker all day and not a bruise.My ex,all 4’11” and 93 lbs of her could fire off 3 mags and ask for more.Either prone,kneeling,or standing.Maybe it was the weight of the rifle that cut down on the recoil? Now they have the girlie 5.56mm.Can’t even use a long rifle .22

  33. The FNC1 is not a 303. The FNC1 fires the 7.62×51 NATO cartridge. The 303 is fired in any number of Lee Enfields, the No 1 Mark 3 and the No 4 Mark 1 being the Canadian issue rifles.
    As to the original topic, my 90 pound 15 year old daughter can shoot a 12 gauge but I wouldn’t trust her accuracy past the first shot. She can also shoot 22 and 9mm handguns (horrors) and I guarantee she is very accurate with the first shot and the last. Too bad handguns are evil in Canada.
    I wonder how many times a week Biden and Obama shoot skeet at Camp David.

    An 8 mm Mauser is 7.92 x 57 mm
    2 things
    (1) bullets and bores are different size
    (2) .308 and .303 are different simply because if some idiot jammed a .308 in a .303 rifle, really bad things might happen

    Again, I’m all for self defense,and so apparently is Biden. No Canadian politician I’ve heard has EVER suggested anyone defend themselves like Biden did.

  39. I was at wedding party in Yorkton last year … a whole bunch of 20ish girls in big heels, platforms and short tight skirts were there too. It was at the rod and gun club and the host paid for unlimited trap shooting. Booze, bimbos and shotguns.
    Not one girl dropped a gun or fell over and every last one of them kept getting back in line until the night was over.
    This video is hardly even interesting in comparison.
