Being a partisan lefty – officially branded and self declared “progressive” means never having to explain your own bigotry, narrow mindedness and slavish reactionary rhetoric. As was the lexicon of political correctness, ideological correctness is not about being more intelligent or moral or tolerant or liberal – it;s simply about being “correct”. In a tyranny, the tyrant is always “correct”.
You cannot reason with correctness because it is “correct” and you are not. It naturally resists being corrected.

I believe both the above statements are absolutely accurate and true.
Yeah lefies are not rational and are so invested in their notions that they are always teetering on the verge of violence.
I’m not a violent fella for the most part and some may think a mite paranoid.
I have found that one must be mentally more than physically prepared for violence. Anytime somebody raises their voice I am cued to expect, deflect/dodge a “sucker punch” and have the retaliation all ready ta go. All too frequently, this has proved to be prudent. That’s not parania…that’s prudence.

I learned long ago that it is, in the vast majority of cases, completely impossible to reason with teenagers, drunks and liberals. Their limbic systems are in overdrive and the cerebral cortex, if it’s working at all, is working to reationalize the behaviors programed by the limbic system. It’s not at all surprising that lib/lefties turn violent at the drop of a hat since it is the violent part of the brain that is calling the shots.

Reason never had anything to do with it. Leftists, like Muslims, listen to nothing but prompt and overwhelming lethal force, or highly credible threats thereof. That’s why they want decent people to hand over their guns. Having decent people shoot back gets in the way of their plans to squander your life savings on drink or drug sprees or add your wife and daughter to the “community of women.”
Think of them as like small children who throw tantrums in public because nobody ever bothered teaching them how to behave. Everyone’s had to deal with the sort. The simpering of their gutless parents is sometimes worse than the tantrum, and they trying to “reason” with their pride and joy while every other adult in earshot would like nothing better than to strangle the little pup and spay the dam free of charge. You don’t “reason” with children who refuse to behave—they simply will not listen. You make clear as early as possible that if they refuse to do what they’re told the grown-ups will tan their hides till they cry, right in the middle of the street if necessary, and be sent to bed hungry. Do it right and you’ll only have to do it a few times before they get the message. All it takes is a bit of backbone. One day they’ll thank you.
Now I hardly expect today’s crop of leftists or Islamists to thank patriots for making them into cripples. I do imagine, though, that were this done consistently anybody tempted to follow their example would think twice before they did. They, at least, might be grateful for being scared straight.
Modern liberals live by the following creed: Absolute tolerance of the intolerant or else.

I think that these zombies (quite apt word, really- are they the “Walking Dead” type or “The Night of the Living Dead” type?) have wrapped their egos in their shaky political opinions. Being right or a part of the crowd made them feel validated. Hearing that they might be wrong is too much for their wobbly egos to bear so they lash out. There is the usual moral and cultural relativism that goes with leftism/liberalism but on a personal level, the idea that they could ever be wrong and therefore not a part of the crowd is too much. They are too proud to admit that they are wrong and have no ability for self-reflection.
Maybe this sounds cheesy but given that leftists have no sense of self outside their herd, maybe.

I wouldn’t care, if I could be left alone. If not, I tend to make the experience as painful as possible. It’s really no different from dealing with the school bully. They will never, short of death, stop. They will switch to easier targets.
