    Uh huh. Investigation going according to schedule. Both suspects will, no doubt, be killed by police, agents of the State. Bye bye information about any possible links to others. Bye bye trial. Case closed. Were these guys working alone or not?
    We may never know. Shades of Lee Harvey Oswald’s being shot by Jack Ruby, completely short-circuiting the investigation into who shot JFK. Many at high levels didn’t want anyone to know who shot JFK.

BTW – the pics on reddit of the alleged navy seals along the route, the fact that a long time Boston Marathon runner said he saw bomb sniffing dogs in the staging areas where he had never seen them before, the fact that the Holder’s FBI was so quick to lie – I mean say – that they didn’t see the “usual chatter” post bombing, tells me the feds had advance knowledge of a possible attack.

Well, at least the “domestic terrorist/gun owner/TEA Partier/tax day” nutjob hypothesis of the media and the Democrats has been relegated to the sewage treatment plant, where it properly belongs. The degree of journalistic malpractice and the state of public ethics today is truly breathtaking.
    But, assuming for a moment that the Chechnyan Muslim angle bears fruit, what “root causes” do we need to understand, let alone by implication bear responsibility for, exactly? Chechnya is not America’s or the West’s fight in the slightest way. In fact, to the extent that the West has had anything to do with this matter, it has been to condemn the excesses of the Putin government against, you know, the Chechnyan Muslims.
    At the end of the day (again, assuming all of this holds up), this sorry episode will have come down to precisely what we knew it was in the first place before the media-Democrat-L/liberal Axis of Disinformation and Misrepresentation got cranked up yet again: an act of war comprising gratuitous premeditated mass murder and attempted mass murder perpetrated by an external Islamist outfit. Which would make it exactly like 9/11 in my books — the precise number of casualties (grievous and horrific though it is) is not the essential point: they would have killed more if they could have.
    There are no “root causes”, as Mr. Trudeau, Jr. calls them, of this existential break that can be any better understood today than when Mr. Chretien tried to pass off the same clueless and peculiar commonplace of leftist self-loathing to the same “news” organization twelve years ago. And since Mr. Chretien’s remarks were the beginning of the end for him, I’m hoping that Mr. Trudeau, Jr.’s remarks will have a similarly beneficial (from my perspective) effect on his career.

  22. Robert, we won’t know the official narrative until The New York Times tells us but they’re probably White Russians and their family practiced a ‘conservative’ form of Islam. I imagine they were victims of racism since they moved to the US too.

  23. Yes, unfortunately you’re probably right. We will never know the whole story. I heard a radio report that a third person had been arrested, but just that one report.
    There had to be other responsible people around encouraging their efforts. Someone will turn up to say they were good god-fearing boys.

Havn’t bought a paper or watched any CNN CBC CTV SEEBS HEARBS etc for 10 years, until the so called news stops the quest to be just like Pravda and Tass, constantly licking the monkeys ass, they have nothing to offer. Here now, what is going down in Boston, are real people, good police officers, good citizens doing their best to keep a decent society together, while in the “news” rooms and the political circles they are doing their best to subjugate and rule the good of society while championing and aiding the garbage of society. People need to wake up, letting scum like this into our countrys in the failed hope they will like us, ala Turdos wet dream, will never work.

Given all the fed-contracted security and Fed spooks at the Boston event – and the bomb dogs and “alleged” bomb drill – this is looking more and more like an FBI patsy take down that went terribly wrong.
    Remember that the majority of the terrorist plots/plotters apprehended in the US have been FBI entrapment ops with brain dead patsies who they (FBI infiltrators) have inflamed, guided to targets and even supplied bomb making materials for. Things to ponder as this one unfolds.

  31. I think we can learn a lot about how to avoid tragedies like the Boston Marathon bombing from China and Justin Trudeau. China has millions of muslims and they do not seem to have a problem fitting in and getting along with their non-muslim Chinese compatriots. The Chinese government probably adopted JT’s “get to the root of the problem” technique and eliminated potential problems with love and understanding before the misunderstood muslims came to feel they were enemies of society.

The west brings them here, spends a small fortune raising them up through the entitlement system, gives them scholarships to go to prestigious schools and watches them slaughter American citizens. The chicoms don’t have to “beat us” they just have to wait until we finish committing a slow societal suicide.
