I’m sure some of you know this already but “Enjoy the Decline” is out and available for sale. I believe there were some problems with Canadians getting the paperback version, but if you have any problems let me know (CAPTcapitalism *at* yahoo (dot) com). If you are unaware of the premise, the title says it all. Enjoy the decline. It operates from the premise there’s nothing that can be done to stop the slow, but inevitably demise of western civilization so while you’re here on this planet you may as well enjoy life. Most people love it, some people hate it, but even they still give it 3 stars (they usually disagree that the situation is hopeless). Regardless, if you are down and depressed about the future of western civilization or you know a friend or loved one who is letting the politics of countries get them down, this is the book for them!

The last bastion of real FREEdom is crumbling. The USA is rotting from within through perversion, moral weakness, and corruption.
Slowly the left has eroded the rules which a society keeps itself orderly and civil. Personal responsibility is now a thing of the past. Your betters have all the answers,they say. And intellectually lazy masses, no longer capable of critical thinking believe them. History is a work of fiction as far as they’re concerned.
It’s worse than a decline. It’s slavery.
And the end game of the leftist progressives is what? It appears that anarchy is the name of the game. When we reach the stage where it becomes every man/woman for themselves then the collectivists get their payback bigtime.

Interesting to watch it evolve right before our eyes.
The west was doomed when conservatives abdicated their responsibility of educating the children. It will be maturing children who ensure the final downfall.

I will check it out Captain. Jacques Barzun, who died in 2012 at the age of 104, provides a longer lifetime look in his his book “From Dawn to Decadence-over the last 500 years” published in 2000. He was 92 at the time.
I started a list of the books he suggested one should read and when the list became 87 books I gave up and just cherry picked them as they came to my attention. Cheers;

Well, I’m not so sure about that. In the case of Russia the anarchists helped the progressives Reds defeat the poorly organized and uncoordinated Whites and then the Reds took care of the anarchists. All due to better organization and a higher level of fanaticism.

Captain, I had no problem getting your book from Amazon.com (then I never shop Amazon.ca who figures we’ll never notice their higher book prices).
Mr. G, I’m sure we can beat the forces that are causing the decline, but not by democratic means. Remember: USA, 51% parasites who are breeding rapidly and they’ve learned how to vote early and often. Until then, I’m enjoying the decline.
