  1. I would just note that it is your fine “Law Enforcement” officers who enable this, just as ours do South of the Border. Should anyone who is not one of the Right People do anything remotely like this, they would be arrested on prostitution charges. Yet for the Right People, whether it is Suzuki or Menendez, or whether the apparent crime is prostitution, or grand theft like that done by Jon Corzine, well, then that’s a different story.
Or just how long do you think Suzuki or Menendez or Corzine or Holder or Geithner would last should “Law Enforcement” not honor their oath as they currently fail to do, but instead merely stand aside?

  2. Ezra is amazing.
As for fly man, where there is smoke there is usually fire. I always thought he was a creep. In my life I have seen many times a strong correlation between arrogance and lack of substance and decency.

  3. I don’t know what’s creepier, this, or him stalking and slithering into the little boys tree house.

  4. In south america, the jobs for girls that dress just so are sometimes termed, “presentable girls” … Was there another email that suggested the college girls not have all their shirt buttons done up to the top?
So happy that my daughters are the type to call out this sort of behavior.
Thanks Ezra for bringing this to the light of day.

  5. This segment by Ezra should be required viewing for every starry – eye wannabe girl enviro -crusader.
    Some prostitution required for your
    Environmental Studies Degree

    Fire this creep, please.
dwright (feeling the need to shower, after seeing that)

  6. I recall hearing several decades back when we were all younger that Suzuki spoke at a B.C. high school graduation (maybe in the Kootenays but I don’t recall) and then insisted on attending the private (alcohol-fueled) after-grad.
I found it odd then and these current revelations only reinforce why my “creepometer” as an educator was set off so much that I still remember that story.

  7. I guess Suzuki has finally made it to “tenth level maggot”. Fitting as he is such a f**king parasite.

  8. OMG – This can’t be real. does mary mapes work for ezra now? were the college docs authenticated?

  9. So I assume Suzuki held some lectures at UofT’s Sex Week? I’m sure given the spirit of the event he only charged half. Extra credits for those young women who dressed for the occasion of global warming, thong bikinis, tube tops and short shorts.

  10. So, a possible latter day Jimmy Saville, using his fame, & a cult-like following, for deviant, immoral acts of perversion?
That would be sickening, although not totally surprising. His arrogance & holier-than-thou attitude, along with a lifestyle that doesn’t exactly “walk the walk” of all his talk, suggests that he is someone above the masses, and therefore entitled to that which he desires. I wonder what observations ET would make about his personality as compared to BamBam’s.

  11. So, yes this is creepy, but the rest of the media will ignore it. Some interesting questions though:
1). There is surely a code of conduct for employess of the college, and I can’t imagine a scenario where it isn’t crystal clear these admins stepped way over the line. I hope the Sun contacts some of the girls, and asks them how they feel about their school pimping them out. I also hope the Sun puts a camera in the face of the college president and asks some uncomfortable questions.
2). 30,000 for an hour? Really? I bet the college accessed some sort of government funding to help pay for the event. Maybe we should track that down and demand that program be eliminated.
3). Where are the feminists on this issue? What classes were the girls in when they were veted for attractiveness? What are the chances one of the professors that okayed this has some other media appearances ranting about sexism, etc. Maybe the Sun should ask these profs some uncomfortable questions. Alinsky rules should apply.
4). John Abbot college boasts that it is a “pre-university” institution. It’s entirely possible some of the ‘escorts’ were minors.
5). Imagine the cries from the left if Don Cherry had a similar provision in an public speaking contract?

  12. Yes, but many of the women enviro-zealots are of the same mentality as that woman we blogged about a few days ago that was raped by a Black guy in Haiti, and blamed White Oppression!
I bet Suzuki in a room full of his female admirers has the same power as Hefner at the Playboy mansion.

  13. KVB, that’s really aside from the point. The fixation that some old men have with young girls is a stereotype. What’s truly disgusting here is the willingness of John Abbott College to pimp out their female students. Being a junior college, presumably they are underage.
It’s all very well for the lot of us to complain about the immorality of the younger generation. That too is a stereotype. But what can be said about an institution that actually fosters this, that behaves like a common bawdy house in effect? Education institutions are supposed to maintain social norms rather than encourage perversion for their own benefit.

  14. Nothing Suzuki does will lower my opinion of him – including this dirty old man appearance. I already consider Suzuki lower on the evolution scale than maggots & fruit flies.
But this occurring at John Abbott CEGEP brings back great memories of my first year there as I got off the bus & walked on campus; just turned 16 in the fall of 1972. This was just after the bra burning women’s rights days – hardly any women wore a bra. But they did wear tight tank tops.
The student lounge wafted with the aroma of marijuana & hash; once the temperatures dropped, I was there all day playing bridge & poker for money.
Needless to say, I never passed any courses that year… LOL

  15. Gee, I thought Georgie Porgie was going to french St. David’s ear.
If he had leaned out of his chair any farther he would have fallen into The Great One’s lap.
There’s fawning adulation, and then there’s whimpering bootlicking.

  16. We need SunNews more than ever. Isn’t it great not having to watch the Communist Broadcasting Craporation?
And oh, yes…..Suzuki has always given me the creeps, shivers, willies, bad vibes and overall feeling of uneasiness.

  17. Suckzooki’s appearance fee was initilly pegged at 10 grand. Only after hearing his escourts were Judy Rebick and Maude Barlow did he insist on a new deal. Not nearly enough, IMHO.

  18. I have no problem seeing him as one of those people who in their dotage hang around playgrounds. I’m only surprised he didn’t want a crown as well.By the way why would these “liberated” Women comply.

  19. Why is it that I am not at all surprised by this..?? This POS is a F***ing Pedophile..!!
Ok…now where is that CBC blog..??

  20. Because “liberated” women are not that much different than other women? It wouldn’t be the first time that young women kept in the company of older ludicrously wealthy men; that he spouts noxiously platitudinous rants on lofty unattainable dreams is a plus. Besides, US colleges use their pretty girls to recruit for their athletic programs it’s really the same thing but, you know, many times sadder.
It’s only oppressive if it’s not cool!

  21. Gee, it’s come to this huh, Kate?
This is what you’ve dedicated your life to, huh?
    Wow.

  22. Lady female bodyguards? You’re right Joe, it has nothing to do with sex. It’s just what it says.
As in, ladies first, … to soak up any incoming gunfire.

  23. joe (conservative?)
Today Kate featured a classic Ezra Levant video exposing once again the obnoxious nature of David Suzuki.
(Sometimes the guy borders on genius. Did you see the Human Rights interrogations by Shirley McGovern which he somehow got permission to videotape? I’ll bet they wished they could have done that one over.)
I appreciate Kate’s selections most of the time. You object to her efforts on what basis?
Just out of curiosity what have you dedicated your life to? I’ll bet it’s awesome given that you snobbily look down on the work of others.

  24. “Gee, it’s come to this huh, Kate?
This is what you’ve dedicated your life to, huh?
    Wow.”
    What on earth?

  25. Some day universities will pile on enough layers of hypocrisy that the whole sordid mess will collapse. I’m curious if Dr. Fruitfly has ever spoken at UBC? While reading through the seemingly endless politically correct drivel that one must agree to be a faculty member of the faculty of medicine, ran into a section that prohibited sex between faculty members and students but also between students.
A number of couples who went on to get married existed in my med school year. Trying to prevent sex between horny consenting adults just because they happen to be in the same class is the height of idiocy, but those are the rules at UBC. I’m sure that UBC is not alone in the idiocy department. Maybe these very detailed policies exclude guest speakers or individuals with the sacred status of the great Dr. Fruitfly. After coming close to putting a fist through my laptop screen I stopped reading the seemingly endless UBC policies which were all of the form: We believe in fostering an environment of free expression and inquiry, BUT (and then the restrictions that follow would likely win the approval of the N. Korean politburo).
Of course, there’s the self-admitted drop in testosterone levels by Dr. Fruitfly which means that perhaps he can’t rise to the occasion anymore but from what I’ve heard about his life as a younger maggot, he wasn’t averss to “assisting” female students in his younger days.
In the 1970’s it was not unusual for female students whose physical endownments were of considerably greater magnitude than their intellectual ones to obtain nocturnal assistance in their academic areas of weakness from male professors. Likely this involved, in exchange, some form of personal service from the female student. I was somewhat perturbed when a female student who had suddenly started spending a lot of time with a molecular biology professor got a higher mark than I did in the course. But those were the days of the sexual revolution and no one thought it was a big deal and no less a personage than Ben Franklin suggested to a colleague that, should he wish to rapidly learn French, he should acquire a female “sleeping dictionary” as this had worked for him. Presumably the same technique works in molecular biology.

  26. >>>>So they can bask in Suzuki’s “sanctified air”?!?!?!?!
    — Good grief. Did someone actually write that?
Sun News is the best. Light years ahead of Fox News. Great piece of investigative journalism and narrated with humor to boot. The real story is the college pimping out their “female lady” students but it doesn’t hurt that Fruit Fly guy must be twisting like the maggot he is.
    Ezra is great entertainment.

  27. It’s too good to be true, but it is: David Suzuki is the same age as Silvio Berlusconi: 76.
David Suzuki: born March 24, 1936
Silvio Berlusconi: born September 29, 1936

  28. CCs (Community Colleges) in Canada are the local haven for the left wing political types.
In the Reform epoch I followed federal politics very closely at the local level. The Community Colleges (CCs) were forever trying to get ‘their’ candidate elected. In Alberta, they knew they wouldn’t get the Liberal, NDP or PCs elected anymore so they tried to influence the Reform nominations. Now they influence the federal Con. nominations.
Go through the Board of Directors of your local CC and you will find a special class of ESI (enlightened self interested) Riders that find their way into the ruling parties in each province not for principle but for self interest. In Alberta they are the Red Tories who during the days of the ascendancy of the Reform party were shielded by a sort of witness protection program of the provincial Progressive Con. Party. Now these guys were/are entitled to their entitlements! They had the appointments in the CCs and so many other so called NGOs (non-governmental organisations) that depend solely on the taxpayer for their charitable existence. The failed Liberal and NDP candidates didn’t get the provincial government appointments; they were progressive enough to get the CC faculty and administrative jobs.
I appreciate Ezra digging up and exposing this waste. So many other examples will be found. Just look into the Itinerary of lefty luminaries such as Romeo Dallaire and Justin Trudeau. Follow the same slimy path and you will find CCs and similar NGOs funneling the cash which came from the taxpayer to their lefty Saints.
If Suzuki gave a speech was there a fee to attend? If so, who paid for the tickets of the CC types and the corporate tables? So many of those $4,000 worth of chairs were filled by fellow lefties from NGOs, Unions and municipal government all funded by the taxpayer.
The rot is so prevalent we don’t even recognize its smell as decay.

  29. How do you say, “Bunga Bunga” in canadian? As I watched the video I thought (sir) Jimmy Saville redux.

  30. Well, look who thinks he’s Mick Jagger.
I wouldn’t have expected any more from Suzuki – who, I agree, always did come off as fairly creepy – but out of a sense of simple self-preservation you might have thought the college wouldn’t act as a… what’s the word I’m looking for?

  31. Any way of ‘outing’ the good doctor as a closet homophobic conservative? Or at least have his request and university procurement of only females protested by the Lavender Lobby?

  32. Would that word be “oarhouse“, BM? Please let me know if I’m getting close. Don’t wanna be rowin’ up the wrong creek now…

  33. Suzuki is repulsive… and this segment was made more horrifying with a snippet of that moron “Strombo” doing his chair circus routine. Can that guy not sit in a chair like a normal person? Does he need to make the way in which he sits in the chair part of the show?

  34. Jimmy Jones Suzuki.
    Liberalism is a Mental Disorder.
At the end of the day, we all pay for these leftist atrocities to our society and culture.
