THIS is what poverty sometimes looks like in America:This is what government dependency looks like in America; parents here in Appalachian hill country pulling their children out of literacy classes. Moms and dads fear that if kids learn to read, they are less likely to qualify for a monthly check for having an intellectual disability.
Many people in hillside mobile homes here are poor and desperate, and a $698 monthly check per child from the Supplemental Security Income program goes a long way — and those checks continue until the child turns 18.

Well I think active euthanasia should be permitted as long as the patient is capable and its their specific desire without any duress. It is after all their body.
I really don’t like the modern definition of Conservative/Liberal it can mean anything. However once euthanasia is legalized, I am sure it won’t be long before the current liberal mentality starts applying it to certain patients that meet their politically correct definitions unfortunately. Of course those elites in government would not be expendable…
