    Footage from the BBC captured by watchdog group Honest Reporting shows a heavy man lying on the ground and being carried away by residents, apparently after being injured by an Israeli attack.
    Moments later, that same man again fills the frame, except he is walking about and obviously unhurt…

    Maybe he’s just a soccer player.

    It seems the deciding factor in opening the investigation (into the affair between Petraeus and Broadwell) was not the emails’ content, but the fact that the FBI agent was friendly with (Jill) Kelley. (Even more disturbing, the same FBI agent has now been accused of becoming “obsessed” with the Tampa socialite, sent shirtless pictures to her, and has been removed from the case.)

    Very astute observation, SDH. Thank-you for the link to Ron Paul’s farewell speech. America was chasing rhinestones when a diamond was offered. Both the ‘shiny ponys’ are worthless frauds. The Champion of the Constitution, Ron Paul, could have gathered all Patriots (the only real Americans) to the Cause: the restoration of America: sound money, civil rights for citizens, soldiers brought home, restored the Constitution…what a monumental blunder the Repubs made by nominating a Barak-lite. IMO.

  34. Just got off the phone with the latest crank call. You know, the people offering to lower my credit-card rate.This time I was ready.
    Had two fake credit-card numbers ready, fictitious birth-date,security number on the back, the shot. Oh and a VERY high credit limit with low balance.
    I could hear him salivating on the other end of the line.
    After numerous delays, finding the card, reading the “wrong” number, re locating the card, finding my glasses and so on, I had had enough fun and told him so. I don’t think he was happy.
    I should ask his name next time and send him a Christmas card……

    “Feds axe nearly 11,000 government jobs this year”
    “Treasury Board President Tony Clement boasted Friday that the federal government has already eliminated nearly 11,000 jobs this year. Clement said that’s more than half the 19,000 on the chopping block, and puts the government on course to find $5.2 billion in savings.
    Those job cuts were announced as part of the government’s economic action plan this year, according to which 19,200 public service jobs needed to be cut. Clement said Friday that cuts were achieved through attrition and positions being eliminated through the collectively bargaining adjustment process.
    “We said we would eliminate 19,200 positions within the federal government and we are doing what we promised to do,” he said.”

    Delicious! Let’s see what the obtuse Ontario Human Rights crew does with this one. Let’s see now, do the lesbian’s rights trump the Muslim barber’s rights – or vice versa.
    I’m not usually down with the gay agenda, but in this case it seems to serve a much larger issue – though probably not deliberately. I suspect this lezzy lady just has her hair out of place rather than attempting to embarass the Ont. HRC, but it still works for me.
    Amazingly but not unexpectedly, most of the CBC commenters side with the Muslim barbers refusal to serve. Perhaps because the CBC article doesn’t specifically refer to the woman as lesbian (check her photo and let your gaydar decide) they aren’t sufficiently conflicted.
    With few exceptions they suggest she is simply a troublemaker targeting this poor put-upon minority business when she could easily go elsewhere. I can’t believe none of them have heard of the gay couple insisting a Knights of Columbus hall rent their facility for their same-sex marriage despite being offered referrals elsewhere. Ditto marriage commissioners being threatened the loss of their livelihood with the insistence THEY alone must accomodate the demands of militant couples.
    The hypocrisy is rank.

    AND anyone outside the country can ignore it.
    AND computer dialing criminals who want your credit card numbers don’t use the list EITHER.
    AND you can tell THEY’RE fraudulent because of the recorded “busy office noise” cd playing in the background. When have you EVER heard a busy background during any legitimate phone call in the last 15 years?
    Correction: they can use the list -to obtain phone numbers of actual people. Saves ’em time.
