The Tolerant Left

Since then I’ve amassed nearly one hundred pages of disgusting, hateful and threatening messages. They’ve said that I (and all of you conservative readers) have no place in this world. They’ve told me to slit my own throat. They’ve called me every foul name you can think of. They’ve insulted my husband, accused me of molesting my children and threatened to report me to my local school board. They impersonated my husband and contacted a local divorce attorney. They tried to have pornographic sex toys catalogues sent to my home. They have sent emails on my behalf to my elected representatives advocating for policies I disagree with completely. They’ve signed me up for more email spam than anyone could possibly do in his or her spare time. (As of this moment I have 1630 emails in my spam folder.) They’ve called my home using Caller ID spoofing software or websites. They’ve let me know they know where I live.

  1. And that’s why I prefer at least a little anonymity on the interwebs. I also wonder what lefties think when they threaten rightists and plot our elimination, I mean, they do realize we’re the ones with the guns, right?

  2. All serious marxist initiatives usually begin
with heaps of bodies, imagined or real.
    .

  3. It never fails to amaze me how anything not “leftoid approved” immediately turns into viral rabid hatred. Perhaps Godwin’s Law should be amended, or even a new law/theorem formulated for this common phenomena.

  4. “I mean, they do realize we’re the ones with the guns, right?”
When they come for you, you will have been disarmed.

  5. Fred2 @ 9:53 . . . . . . When they come for me I will NOT have been disarmed, Fred. Think about that one for awhile.

  6. Exactly, Fred2. By the very “Law Enforcement” officers who are sworn to the Constitution. But then, to them oaths don’t matter. All the overwhelming majority of them care about is who signs their paychecks.
I vus chust doink mein chob!

  7. I just happened to notice a huge bump in my blog traffic, and when I looked to see where it came from, it brought me here. Thank you, Kate! Small dead animals is freaking awesome.
BTW, the quote above in your post is from my friend Karen at The Lonely Conservative; we’ve both been targeted by the same people, but what they do to her is far worse than what they do to me, and yes, there is now new information uncovered that appears to link our stalkers to the Brett Kimberlin Kabal.
Yesterday, I mostly focused on what they’ve done to Karen, so that I could put together a strong show of support for her, but today I am going to showcase a little bit of what they’ve been doing to me in a new post. These are not nice people – at all. I hope some of you will stop by to see the new post later, when it’s ready.
Thanks again for linking me, SDA ROCKS!

Even the drones won’t be able to find my guns.

  9. Evil it is, soccermom.
And worse is yet to come.
2 Timothy 2:13 But evil men and seducers shall grow worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

  10. Fred2, the good ship disarmament sailed in 1992 and sank in 2000 with Algore. They tried and failed already.
This post is supported by my Boston observations, there’s virtually zero election signage or bumper stickers here. Most overtly political car stickers, lefty or righty, are on out-of-State cars. I think people are keeping their views much more to themselves just lately to avoid vandals and career damage. Just my opinion.

  11. Can I make what I expect will be an extremely unpopular point?
    This never happens to me.
OK, not never. The “About Me” page on my blog collects some of the nasty comments made about me, but there aren’t that many.
Once every six months, I’ll get an angry email from some beta male with a reading comprehension problem.
I’m in the book, I’ve been blogging for 12 years, and I go on TV once a week, and never get crank calls.
I have a system that monitors me for identity theft and the only flag I’ve received was due to that Yahoo! problem last week.
I hear that Kinsella and others occasionally insult me on their blogs, but don’t go there to check. Don’t care.
I even wrote a long and incredibly unfavorable article at PJMedia about Brett WhatsHisName.
    What am I doing right/wrong?

  12. As usual, we here in Canada are a bit more civilized. The left goes after conservative targets with lawsuits and other campaigns that they call “maximum dysruption” and they don’t need to go underground either because they stay in the limelight and the mainstream of our more overtly neo-Marxist society.
I don’t know how much longer the Harper government can go on ignoring this culture war raging all around it — well I shouldn’t say that they ignore it, they are in it too, like it or not, but their attitude seems to be, if we don’t name the demon, it won’t poke us with its pitchfork, or something like that.
We’re probably very near a break point in this strategy because to survive another electoral cycle, I suspect the Harper government will have to reach out to some of the walking dead and the stunned who, so far, haven’t caught on that a red-green alliance is coming at us hard with every intention of sweeping away what’s left of our freedom and our economy as well.
I just had a run-in with internet censorship American style and apparently it’s not quite as clear-cut as in the good old days where U.S. free and Canada not so much — now it seems like the culture of censorship and control is perhaps more firmly rooted in Obamaland than Canuckistan. But let’s face it, we’re in a race to oblivion and the predators, while far from nimble, are numerous and not inhibited by such abstractions as a conscience or any spirit of fair play.

  13. Kathy,
They don’t harass you because they know it won’t do any good. The “mommy bloggers” are rich dingbats with no real problems, liberal and self-styled conservative, whose first response to the slightest inconvenience is to blubber about it to anybody who will listen. If that’s the best the “conservative blogosphere” can offer, British America is lost.
Unlike them, you have a spine and a sense of proportion. You have also learned from experience not to think of mankind as anything but utterly depraved, so you already think and expect the worst of the enemy. You’re almost always right.
Not only does that make your blog one of the very few both written by a woman and worth reading (SDA is the other), it’s clearly made you impossible to bother, disappoint or even shock much. The enemy doesn’t bully you because you’ve shown over the years that it’s impossible. You don’t cry or get mad at the enemy. You redouble your efforts to ensure his total destruction.
It helps that you don’t leave your personal information on the Internet for any jackass to find.
They’re afraid of you. They should be. Had Canada more like you, we might still enjoy British liberty—and finally ended Islam’s war against Christendom in September 2001.
God bless and keep you and your blog.
(I only wish I could convince you to turn your back on Rome once and for all. God knows you saw through the paedophile priests and lesbian nuns a long time ago too. Of course, that is something that’ll happen at your convenience, not mine, and for which I know I must continue to pray.)

  14. That was very touching, Dick. Many thanks.
And speaking of touching: I have turned about 9/10ths of my back on Rome. I don’t say that to boast. I’m deeply sad about it. But facts are facts.

  15. Kathy Shaidle
Having been one of them years ago, they know you, know, their weir-ding ways. Will than triple down on them if attacked, making them look like the piddling school boys they are.
Best to ignore the T Rex in the room before she eats them.
Since Ive been on the net since the mid nineties, its maybe my imagination, but its always seemed a mixture of High school crossed with a Stephan King novel. So best not to show any weakness. Which you don’t.
As for Rome. Denominations are not my Idol. I prefer the Messiah from Galilee spoken of all threw scripture fulfilled.
Remember as well it wasn’t God who put the money changers in the Temple. Even though he loathed them. Nor evil men in Church s, that was prophesied as inevitable . As you probably already know Christian is Greek for Christ = Messiah Ians = people. It just means People of the Messiah. To bad the word has been sullied by not only the World (Hollywood) but by so called “Christians”.

  16. Then, Kathy, for what it’s worth, I will be praying mightily for the 1/10th that hasn’t turned.

  17. What’s with Shaidle and Slater, are they trying to turn this into a Catholic-hate site. It has been done before, in France and Mexico and various socialist countries, but you can’t silence the truth. Though imperfect, as men are, it does contain the deposit of Faith, and it was given by Christ. The dogs may bark, but the caravan moves on!

  18. My point, in case I was unclear ( and it seems I was), is if you look at the leftist MO that the groups they wish to crush are maneuvered quite deftly into positions where they are not in a position to resist effectively.
They have been robbed, salami slice by salami slice of the the support of friends, of the law, of property, of public opinion, of their culture, of their leaders, etc…
When the time comes, you are outnumbered, outspent, out organized and dead in the water.
So you may have your firearms and load of ammo, but that won’t help you, enemy of the people, when a drone hunts you down in the dark from 20,000ft and drops a 15kg smart bomb down your chimney. The morning news will duly report that some whacko ( you) shot at police just doing their job and rather than take further casualties they got a court order. All legal like.
Guns are good for dealing with free-lance thugs, not for dealing the the machinery of state and media and education grinding you into paste.
Those battles have to be fought elsewhere, long before.

  19. “I’ve amassed nearly one hundred pages of disgusting, hateful ….”
Is anybody really surprised? This is the image of the Left. These are the people that vote for Obama/Pelosi/Reid. It’s all they know.
If they weren’t so darn stupid and so darn dangerous, I might feel sorry for them.

  20. I’m not sure that the best use of our time would be a discussion of the merits or otherwise of the Catholic Church.
The key source of oppression today is utopian progressive government.
If we aren’t focused on that, we aren’t part of the action.

  21. @DickSlater You obviously are not familiar with me at all. I am the opposite of “rich” and I have very real problems, some of which are potentially life threatening.

  22. You are right Denyse, but Slater is fanatically anti-Catholic and can’t come on site, without letting us know that. The C.C. is a huge roistering Church and sometimes the left hand doesn’t know what the right is doing. If it interferes too much at the parochial level, it is criticized, the same if it does not. Kathy Shaidle should read Michael S. Rose’s “Good bye, Good Men” to find out what has been happening at the seminaries of North America, and Western Europe.

  23. I have no interest in indulging in anti-Catholic hate, believe me! I am not anti-Catholic and defend the Church from irrational attacks whenever I can.
However, I simply no longer identify myself in public as a Roman Catholic. This is a personal decision and I have no desire to turn it into a bitter neurotic/atheistic crusade.
And Largen, I read Goodbye, Good Men, before you did as a matter of fact — in pre-press galleys.
Little has changed since then, and life is too short for me to wait for the idiots in charge to sort out their shoddy business.

    here’s why i choose to blog pseudonymously…
“If it was me firebombing you, you would not have a chance at a second thought,
because as soon as you exited the building, well, the whole idea of the firebomb
was to flush the skunk (you) out and get you into um, range.”

this dumbstick drops by every morning around 2:00am to “heil harper” and
    scream about “faggots” & niggers”.
funny how the worst insult the lunatic left can imagine is to label someone a
    homosexual.
don’t exactly need sigmund freud to figure that one out.

  25. Kathy, dear fiery Kathy, The Catholic Church was born by Jesus Christ when he elected to die on the cross for us. He did this to show us how much God loves us and to give us an example to follow – ‘not my will but your will be done’. To whom do we turn to give thanks, or to acknowledge that justice for evil deeds is not sure in this world but is sure in the next, if not to Jesus and the Catholic Church, sinful though she may be. You may have turned mostly away from Jesus but he hasn’t turned away from you. He is waiting for you, and loving you. And I will keep you in my prayers too. We catholics need great people like you.

  26. I’m not sure what Revnant Dream is on @ 8:34 – “Denominations are not my idol>” I guess she’s saying she doesn’t believe in going to Church, just wants to be “spiritual”. There is a lot of that going around these days – don’t want any structures getting in the way. Besides, it is so much nicer not having to get up on Sundays, and go to church. And then there is that annoying bit about your duty to support the church financially, even though you only ever gave pocket change anyway, and who wants to get all guilty thinking about our sins, or confessing them to others, and what a nuisance are the laws of the Church as they concern Matrimony, birth control, abortion, euthanasia and sexuality – who needs all that negativity?

  27. Kathy Shaidle asks: “What am I doing right/wrong?”
Kathy, its because you’re just too nice. (hee hee!)
Actually its because you live in Canada. Politics is both a blood sport and a livelihood for American Lefties. Up here they all work for the government already and consider themselves unassailable. Plus they’re a bunch of wusses.
When they start going nuts and SWATing conservative bloggers, that’s when you know conservatives are getting the job done.
