  1. I could give a “rat’s ass” about Earth Hour – and shall continue to live my sad, lonely, pathetic little life.

  2. OK, bad eyes. Make that 4.4! Now I am a pussy. Gonna have to go outside and pour some gas on the ground.

  3. I only got 11.6. How on earth did you get over 15? I guess I’m just not living right.

  4. Your win Kate and I stand in awe of your omniscient.   I’m a conspicuous consumer but still only require the meager resources of ‘6.2 Planet Earths’.   OUCH!
    .

  5. I got 5 earths. I noticed that to achieve the desired target in this most politically correct quiz, it appears one would have to give up electricity, only eat grass grown within walking distance of your hovel and remain ignorant of the rest of the world beyond one’s line of sight.

  6. 3.8!!! GAACK I gotta step up my game! That score is almost as bad as my March Madness brackets!

  7. A clean environment is a good idea but do not worry about the carbon dioxide part.
The earth’s plants are living on the edge – need more! carbon dioxide. 250 to 350 ppm is an all time low !
So do not worry about your CO2 production – your food plants are virtually starving – less than 200 ppm and they die, And so would we !

  8. only 14.7….but then I’m cheap, when gas hits over 0.94/liter and take the bus.No prob though….RGCZ makes up for me..:):)

  9. 3.6 but so many of the questions were absurdly irrelevant or unrelated to my circumstances. And just how much garbage does an average Aussie produce?

  10. Only 4 planets. If I had been honest it may have been hundreds.
Is there a flight from Tazmania to Northern Ontario daily? How else would I get to work?

  11. I was just wondering, like bluetech. What if they re-rigged the Q/A’s for Northern Canada,or Alaska?? Of course the running water may have to be divided into 2 categories….summer and winter.

  12. I only require 2.9 Earths to support my lifestyle, but then I lied about almost everything.
It’s something I learned watching AGW acolytes.

  13. Hey if I gotta live somewhere in OZ I choose to live where I can see Taz from my house. Mean while here in Canada I emerged from my soddy this AM and gathered the fresh fallen snow for my sponge bath and a cup of tea. I heated the water for my tea over the buffalo dung fire…

  14. 2.4 planets. Mostly because I live in a residence and go to a university in a walking-distance town. Oh and I can’t afford a car, and I think owning a cell phone or more than one computer or a video game console is beyond stupid.

  15. 5.9 earths for me.
What the hell kind of place is Australia where they have to ask if you have running water and electricity in your house?

  16. 7 to 9 I have some serious catching up to do. Funny I heard somewhere that test your appliances and equipment day falls on the same day go figure.

  17. 6.2 for me
SDH I was wondering the same thing myself, this all sounds like pretty basic needs stuff.

  18. I was only able to reach 8.5, and I had to lie to
get there! 8.5 earths? I’ll just settle for Australia!
Kate, I bet you even beat Al Gore!

  19. 4
    Which is so un-like me.
Here is Ontario the question about electricity will soon be obsolete.
I was standing in line at the bank today and an elderly lady was paying her electric bill..which before the introduction of smart meters was 30-some odd dollars for her a month. It jumped to 350$ per month.
McGuinty is well on his way to starving or freezing to death the elerly on fixed incomes.
Earth Hour is about to become a way of daily life for many many people in this province.

  20. I got sucked into going to an Earth Hour party tomorrow night. Pls kill me know. Or better yet, help me devise a really controversial outfit. I was thinking of wrapping myself in enough 500w floodlights to blind a blind person and then plugging in and taking down the grid but I’d rather not catch fire…

  21. Darn, only got 5 and that’s with maxing out the choices to bring out the SUV’s, busses and planes flying over.

  22. 4.2 here……. hmmm maybe it makes a difference what part of Australia ya pick?
And WHAT was with the questions asking if you have running water and electricity?
Our cousins down under can’t possibly be living in the 19th century can they?
Tommorow night? Gonna turn on the lights of course, crank the heat up and go out and put the hammer down on my shiny new Genesis Coupe. Traction control off of course. Can’t smoke the tires with that on.

  23. Ha ha. 4.5! What a cute little piece of bullshit. I like that Lincoln they dropped in my mansion’s driveway though.

  24. I just did an experiment. I answered the quiz with as much as a granola eating psycho green freak as humanly possible and I still came in at 2 earths and a bit.

  25. 4.8 for me , but what would it be if I include my 25 yr old 2-stroke lawn mower?? Maybe I’ll fire that puppy up as a generator tomorrow night.
    He-He…

  26. 8.8 but I live on a ranch so that probably didn’t help. You had to have cheated Kate to hit 15 you just had too!!!!!!!!!
