  1. And it is being reported/pitched on CNN this morning as a job creation project….HA! America’s new competitive advantage, we’ll be the penal colony for the world!
I look forward to see the camp followers that set up around this new “mecca”. Why do i think that in 100 years there will be mythology built up around this place and people will be making pilgimages….

  2. Oprah asked Chairman O to grade himself on his first year in office. His response “a solid B+”. Just another solid example on how arrogant and delusional this man is.
They should ask the public at large what their rating would be. Given his precipitous fall in approval ratings a C- would probably be closer to the truth.

  3. Give the guy a break. It’s his first real job and when or if he stops campaigning he might start learning about the basics like making decisions and taking responsibility and being honest and basic economics and…….on second thought, he’ll just keep campaigning.

  4. If the Gitmo terrorists have to be moved to the U.S. so that Obama can claim he has fulfilled at least a single campaign promise, then Illinois, where Obama was a Senator, is the best place I can think of to implement his bad idea.

  5. O’candO caulker.

“Obama asks Congress for energy efficiency incentives ( From a Caulking Seminar at Home Depot )
WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) — President Barack Obama is asking Congress to give Americans temporary incentives to retrofit their homes and make them more energy-efficient, saying it would save money and also create jobs.
“Think about it this way,” Obama said in a speech at a Home Depot in Northern Virginia. “If you haven’t upgraded your home yet, it’s not just heat or cool air that’s escaping, it’s energy and money that you are wasting.”
Before the event, Obama met with labor and business leaders who are involved in energy-efficient businesses. He is following the speech up with a lunch at the White House to discuss how to create jobs through energy efficiency upgrades.
Obama called efficient energy “a job creator,” not a job destroyer.

  6. “Oprah asked Chairman O to grade himself on his first year in office”
Oprah is a sickening waste of oxygen. However, she is a perfect example of how someone, completely devoid of talent or skill, can become successful.
I could sit and lob softballs at Obama in much the same manner as Oprah … if I chose to lower myself to that level.

  7. when campaigning the ZERO was olaying car mechanic, as in “put air in your tires folks”, and now he’s the home handy man, just have to wonder when he’ll have time to be president

  8. What’s really amazing is that $2500.00 worth of new windows will save about $10.00 month on heating bills. If you have a 6 month heating season, that is $60.00 per year. That works out to roughly a 40 year break even point. If I am wrong and it saves $20.00 a month it is still a 20 year break even point. Let’s see now, case of beer or windows, hmmmm.
