  1. This truly is a disease, a paranoia a delusion of some kind. They will truly destroy civilization if we allow them. Many of them are hypocrites as well, traveling in private aircraft or large cars. Living in homes much larger than they need. Many are wealthy and won’t be greatly affected by the costs associated with the tax increases that are coming. It is all about power and money. Many are invested in the companies that will trade in carbon credits as well.

What a Jerk , he calls us deniers , yet he refuses to accept the fact the actual fact that tree’s that were mass planted since the 60’s are now over 50 years old and everday there are tree’s turning fifty and sixty years old they are big and are maturing at a rate fast than what we actually cut down …as well those tree’s feed off of ox..y.gen……no no wait …yeah that’s it …..carbon dioxide …what a hammer head anything that has leaves need carbon dioxide to initiate photosynthesis…..so what is the big friken deal about carbon dioxide …? i don’t get it i mena if you wanna have a legitimate case at least use an argument worthy of discution like ….toxic waste disposal …and the likes ….not carbon dioxide…it is just a week argument …so i guess i should be recycled to eh ? as i produce al arge amount of carbon dioxide everytime i exhale ….wtf….anyway in 1959 they measured the ice caps and did and averge and came up with something like 1.6 meters …in 2006 the british antarctic survey did the same measurment and were shocked to see that the ice caps on average were around 1.8 meters ….sorry …and if the greentards are so into the recycling and environment …why don’t they give a credit on your trash bill for recycleing ..rather then charging you 7$ a month to pick up your recycling …how retarded is that…anyway..i refuse to recycle until it is cheaper for me to do so …i will recycle my empty cans and bottles …..by taking them to a bottle depot then i will put that money towards my own trash bill see how it works …but as for anything else …right to the dump please thank you …..

  13. I see stuff like this, and I take it as a sign the climate warmers are -failing-. You see a guy like this Paul Krugman write a piece like this after his side WON the frickin’ vote, its because he’s freaking out. His side is screwed, blued and tattooed.
    Global warming is done like dinner. Its never been anything more than an excuse to steal money and push people around, which is now so obvious even Lefties are catching on. Its defenders don’t believe in it, they’ve just got so much invested they can’t let it slip away without a fight.
    Say, has anybody seen Sarah Brady on TV or in print lately? That’s going to be the global warmers in three years. Depend upon it.

In a related local Development,Our small town has only two grocery stores.They are owned by the same guy(Jimmy Patterson) Both stores have turned over sea food selection, what can be sold, To the totally unqualified ecco-freak ,David Suzuki.   17. hey Phantom, I thought the whole global warming farce was coming to an end too. Continued cold spells around the world, NASA admitting to incorrect temperatures, respected scientists speaking out and actually getting mention in some MSM articles, etc. led me to believe that common sense and truth was beginning to prevail. Then I go out for beers last Wednesday evening with two of my buddies who are total leftbots, and I find out that none of this stuff is reaching them, not a single shred of info. And then I read the comments following this NYT article, and find out there’s 21 pages of commenters who wholeheartedly believe global warming is completely true and us “deniers” are unable to accept what the science is saying.

  25. More evidence that krugman and crowd are running scared and rightly so because the weather is just not co-operating with their propaganda. How do you convince the masses the earth is going to burn up when the evidence is to the contrary and we all experience the summer of no summer. I personally have heard many fine citizens pleading for a little global warming before the country heads into another long cold winter.

  28. How is “Thus researchers at M.I.T., who were previously predicting a temperature rise of a little more than 4 degrees by the end of this century, are now predicting a rise of more than 9 degrees.” predicting and predicting hard science.
    Someone prediciting that the earth will freeze on one hand and earth will turn inferno is only little less accurate than the researchers that go mostly on want.

  29. After wasting precious momments of my life reading that tripe…..it is starting to be comedy. This guy cites all the long refuted lies that Gore did.
    A decade of cooler weather, the warming trend was just an EL NINO and “adjusted” temp records, the “hockey stick” was an artefact and the consensus was media non-existant hoax. Artic Ice cover reduced by wind and not by temperature and prospering Polar Bears……
    This guy reminds me of McDonald of CBC’s quirks and quarks doing an entire hour bemoaning and demonstating sea-level rise damage to Halifax—by a sea-level that has not varied for 3 decades (Fisheries and Oceans tidal guages).
    But then waddaya expect when the POTUS’ initials are BS (Barry Soetoro).

  30. I noted that many of the commentors on Krugman’s piece stated that they should be taking names for future retributions. That is completely Nazi and I don’t use the term lightly. These people are vindictive and ignorant. There is no reasoning with idiots.
    I mean to say they are so stupid that their leader, Obama, thinks that the Ayatollahs can reason with him and that he can reason with them. We saw how long that lasted with the Iranians. Now he’s about to reason with the Hondurans. Isn’t that interfering?
    Krugman is a left wing despot. He will probably live long enough to eat his words from a padded cell in a nut house.
    Despite what Vit says, when they gave a Nobel prize to Arafat, then Al Gore, they pretty much made that prize worthless.

  35. What crap. This shows that the warmists are getting desperate as their pronouncements are growing shriller and shriller as the earth cools. Very interesting post on WUWT yesterday demonstrating that virtually all of “global warming” from the US surface temperature record was as a result of “corrections” applied to the record over the last 3 decades. The raw data shows no warming and the warmest years are in the 1930’s.
    People are starting to see the disconnect between the doom and gloom pronouncements of the warmists and what is happening outside. What they’re seeing is cooler temperatures and no sign of the global warming that is predicted. It is still possible to fool people in large cities because of the urban heat island effect. For those of us who don’t live in large cities it’s damn clear what is happening. Even the city dwellers notice the cooling such as last winter in Vancouver. When one has 10 years of dropping world temperatures despite rising CO2 levels the AGW theory has been falsified. Since AGW is not a science, but instead a fanatical religion, things are probably going to get quite ugly before the truth will prevail.

The Krugmans and other elites have their (not so) hidden agendas, but what disturbs me is the actual arrogant attitude they hold….that somehow it is the responsibility of the power structure, their power structure, to somehow affect change by whatever means necessary – lying, scare tactics, ramrodding their crap through congress with the usual bribes and arm twisting.
    I personally prefer their possible worst case scenarios, as disconnected from reality as they are, to what is actually happening – the outright collapse of ‘science’ as an unfettered quest for truth, the outright collapse of a free press.
    To me, a three feet rise in ocean levels, Illinois with the climate of East Texas*, etc. represent opportunities, not dire disasters. A cowering, fearful, self – imposed economic collapse in the face of a rampant, inexorable Islamic dark ages – now that gives one pause.
    *Prince Rupert with the climate of Santa Barbara? Some would call that justice.

    As in MINUS 0.6C.
    Old record was plus 2.2 C in 1966.
    There have been no confirmed sightings of the Gore-Suzuki Climate Carpetbaggers in the immediate area.

    I have .The prolife faction of the abortion debate has been completely shut-out of public debate; even on the right. I can’t count how many times I’ve heard the host of a show say “let’s not open the abortion issue” when discussing a related issue. The Prochoice crowd set the bar for stifling debate.
    btw I’m prochoice, but I’m open to fair and respectful debate on the topic. My supposed peers embarrass me regularly with they’re tactics.(along with my atheist peers)

  47. Jimmy Patterson *thinks* he is doing the right thing (being a multi-billionaire means that he can afford to pay people to make decisions for him). The destiny of the plebes are far too often in the hands of “advisors” who know more than the average voter.
