Environment Canada, which provides weather information to many broadcasters, gets into the act too. I live in Toronto. Many times over the past few years they have issued “extreme heat alerts” when it’s not really that hot at all. In the past the temperature would have to get up to 36C, 37C before one would be issued. Now they’re issuing them often times when the temperature hits 30C or 31C.
And they use the “humidex factor” to make claims that the temperature feels hotter than it actually is. Nonsense! Humidity can’t make the actual temperature feel warmer than it actually is. More uncomfortable? Certainly. But not hotter.
Think about it: If you had a 375 degree oven going, removed a pot of boiling water from the stove top and placed it inside the oven for several minutes and then opened it, does that mean it would feel like 400 degrees, or 450 degrees? No. It would feel like 375 with a moisture content.
Just think about this Protesting Global Warming on March 2 in DC… What did they think would happen?
Next what if the operator does shut the plant down because they do something stupid? Historically speaking a large group of people can exceed the mandate of the event very quickly.
The results could be quite costly by many measures.

A man with his technical knowledge can no doubt, be made productive again, perhaps in his former work place as a sanitary engineer.
He can be in charge of cleaning and adjusting thermostats as well as heating and cooling systems. That will act a release valve for his obsession with temperature control.

Wow! 5-7 inches! It may not seem like much to you Canadians, but in the DC area, that is a fair pile. And being a coastal storm, it should be a wet, heavy snow. Global governance = global central planning of world economies. We have see what central planning did for the former Soviet Union with it’s 400 million population and more resources than Canada has.

The only logical reason I can think of for our alleged leaders to want to unite the planet is to be able to initiate trade with aliens from other planets. Sound far fetched? Think about it. When these little egg heads land on a planet what’s the first thing they say?

Well, if the one-worlders have their way, they will take the little creatures to whomever is the head of the United Nations and they will do business on behalf of the globe.
The only other reason I can think of is that they are serious about population reduction and nothing with do that quicker than to impoverish the entire planet. When there are just enough left to adequately serve the elites, there will be some sort of stabilization plan to keep everything just the way it is forever and ever. After a while we will forget that we were once free.
The last time the earth was a giant feudal system, it remained that way for centuries. Now that we have advanced technologies, it could remain static for all the rest of human history or at least until Kate’s asteroid mercifully ends our occupation of mother earth.

I’m certainly hoping each and every lemming that attends this ‘protest’ will be cold, wet, and uncomfortable in the extreme. Note, I don’t wish any long term harm to them — simply that their inability/unwillingness to cut through the BS on AGW warrants, at the least, a really really uncomfortable day.
This sets me apart from the AGW zealots who would see me jailed for my beliefs.
I certainly hope the Coleman lawsuit pushes forward. I have believed for quite some time now that only a procedural and evidence-based legal forum will kill the AGW beast once and for all.
I’m hoping that the AGW fanatics get stuck in a severe snowstorm and decline to burn any fossil fuels to stay warm.
Speaking of lawsuits, is there any interest in starting a class action lawsuit against the BC governments carbon tax? This tax was based on invalid science and, as average temperatures continue to decline, the amount gouged from people wanting to maintain normothermia will steadily increase. It would be nice to have something happening before the next BC provincial election this May.
