“You can’t spend your to prosperity”, now that is a revolutionary thought.
What a novel idea! Rather than removing the consequences associated with, and thus assuring the perpetuation of, irresponsible behavior, let people succeed or fail by their own actions. Hopefully then others will take note and learn from what works and what doesn’t. It just might be crazy enough to work!
That little show is just the tip of the iceberg of resentment that is starting to be directed toward Obama, the Democrats and Congress. The poll numbers out this morning indicate Obama’s popularity has slipped by 5 percentage points in the last week while those who disagree with his policies have doubled in a very short time.
Yet he and the Democrats continue to rapidly forge ahead with “Change”, with little regard to the fact that nearly 75% of the public disagree with the economic actions they are undertaking.
Obama’s “we won” comment was not just directed at the Republicans and conservatives but also at the public in general. The “we won” *in* group consist of Obama, his administration and the Democratic congress. They know that they know best what the rest of us need, so they prove it by their actions.
Note that he can’t keep his butt off of his new toy, Air Force One, long enough to get the chair seat warm in the oval office. He is the PERFECT example of someone who wants all the authority and perks, with none of the accountability.

One Big-Assed Mistake, America!
Here’s an analysis of the market forces on the US Housing market, which shows that the market works. California Housing Market
The Clinton and Democratic administration’s ‘It’s your right to own a home even if you can’t pay for it’ has sidelined the market. However, the market, which some of us might define as FACT rather than FICTION, has a way of intruding reality through the rhetoric of the storytellers.
I hope Americans are waking up from Obama’s bedtime sleep-inducing stories of how he will Save them From the Wicked Wolf. Obama himself will never move out of the fictional world and attracts only those who, like the daily soap opera shows, prefer that fiction.
The only thing missing from this video is Chris Rock explaining the difference between the 2 types of black people.
He just said everything that I would have, if I had the platform and the charisma.
Brilliant.
I like that analogy about people who carry the water….
So let’s stop worrying about the US for a minute and let’s come up with ways to change the mindset of folks here in Canada to make them more independent of gov’t.

Good one Yoop, this shows the number of morons that still believe the MSM and Hollywood, until people start to worry about their own destiny instead of Jessicas weight or Linsays lesbianism, fools will always vote for an empty suit if told to by media. This fellow is as phoney as Bernie Madoff, and intelligent people could see that, but the slobbering media could only make fun of Sarah Palin, a good person who is not surrounded by theives and tax cheats. Good luck America, Operah has burned you good.
The most telling point was how his message was received: the echo chamber in the studio was having a laugh at him. The CNBC folks there obviously don’t get it, and find it humourous (but probably couldn’t say why, other than “how simplistic”).
I’ve been saying this since day…NO to stimulus; just let the market prevail!
F**k the automakers, the banks, the mortgage companies and anybody else requesting bailout money.
~~Proud Lefty~~
Obama related poll, currently going horribly wrong, needs attending to at CTV.
Very innnteresting! Isn’t Kate in Chicago this week? Coincidence?
Cheers, E.
Silly putty , calling someone else “putty in your hands”.
CNBC has no idea what the hell is going on.
The last four or five months have been like the first three or four-hundred pages of ‘Atlas Shrugged.’ And judging from this video, it now looks like the great minds of America are ready to go on strike. They should. Let’s see Obama bring change without them.
Yes, “Atlas Shrugged” is coming true in America, but since you have to pass through Canada [with its HRCs, high taxes, and socialized deathcare] to get to a collapsed America, the chances of Americans being woken from intellectual slumber anytime soon are very slim.
America will probably become like Toronto before it gets better. I hope I’m wrong, but I’m not holding my breath.
Obama has never collected a dollar that was earned by creating value in a free market. Every dollar he ever “made” was either from a charitable foundation, or taken at gunpoint from taxpayers by some govt or other. I am sure he thinks that the only way to make money is to take money.
I wonder if Mr. Tinlges over a MSNBC has seen this clip
I love this! On CNBC no less, one of -their- guys finally snaps and starts screaming… the truth! The simple, unvarnished truth. Let these retards be kicked the hell out of these houses and let somebody with half a brain and half a hope of PAYING THE MONEY buy it up for whatever its actually worth.
People are wrecking unoccupied houses, stealing the fittings? JAIL THEM.
The banks are losing money? LET THEM.
I fail to see how these things will be more disastrous than making the USA into a full-on Fascist state.
And if Obama starts sporting a black leather trench coat with gold braid epaulets, I’m relocating to Hudson’s Bay. Gonna take up caribou hunting.

“I’m relocating to Hudson’s Bay.Gonna take up caribou hunting.”
Sara says it’s better in Alaska, and the “scenery” is not bad if you go ‘boo hunting with her. 😉
Rick Santelli, run for public office, please. There are two Americas – the political and the economic. Since the Twit was nominated the market has been on a downhill trajectory. No surprise. I’ll stand with the traders on their rejection of his stimulus crap. It’s pure pork.
What these lame little socialists will find out is that money and those who respect it along with the best mechanism from freeing one from poverty, which is capitalism, do matter.
Yep, one more rational fiscal conservative resonating the real issues. It was Drudge’s big story today. I saw it and had to laugh at many of the CNBC morons with Cramer, their self-aggrandizing huckster included, cringing at Santelli’s outburst. Santelli just doesn’t jibe with the parent company’s lefty media memes.
Santelli is the most intelligent analyst at CNBC. Maybe it’s because he worked in the pits; that’s one place where you get slaughtered if you persist in deluded thinking. Not so in Washington.

Gotta a link? There are,you know,more than one CTV(tass) site.You gonna mention a poll,link it!!
Corporate America – the part that isn’t in bed with a trade union or running some hocus pocus hedge fund is pissed that they are getting blamed for this mess.
Milton Friedman back in the arch socialist days of the sixties said that he was optimistic that America would flourish in the midst of rampant regulation and tax increases because of the unconquerable ability of Americans to get around regulation and taxation. It is after all what the union was founded upon. And the star of this video is a living breathing example of the stirring that is happening south of the forty ninth as I type this.
October 2010 can’t come soon enough. The political devastation that awaits the dems will be shock and awe. The polls have a
ALWAYS indicated that the large majority of Americans are against this kind of stuff and many were hoodwinked into believing that BO was going to be different. Not any more.
On the ball guy.!!!
Who is he? Promote him!!!
It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to go to heaven.

That link sounds like a market orrecting itself.
Given the drop in house prices, more houses are selling, at a lower average price. Could it be that the people who bought houses they couldn’t afford are selling to people who now can afford a house?
It is only the “intellectual” class that are socialist, and they are generally wealthy kids of hard working parents. The rest of America, across all political lines, believe in work and get, not demand and expect.
favill at February 19, 2009 2:49 PM
We must simply enforce conservative political and financial policies, reduce taxes – especially employment and income taxxes, and watch the wonder work.
To do this, we need a conservative government that has balls to resist the liberal media.
The ever increasing size of bank bailouts and the stimulus packages appear to me more and more like a degenerate gambler’s catch up bets: lose $10 000 on a 3:2 bet and you’ll “catch up” by betting another $10 000 at 5:2 odds so you will have the $25 000 you were planning on having before your first bet went south. Without fail, the degenerate gambler is soon making the 40:1 bet because he is so far in the hole, it’s only hope.
Thanks for the poll,Cjunk.
RW – “who is he”? Are you serious. Rick Santelli has been a financial bond analyst for year and years. This guy knows what he is talking about. He sees what Obamarama is doing and knows the damage it will all do to the economy.
Keep in mind – leftards. BHO has spent all of his time in the Senate – two years – running for President and ZERO time learning anything at all about running the Federal Government. Worse than that – most in the Senate and House have spent their lives being politicians instead of being people who can and do run businesses. I have run a successful business for 38 years. I am not a genius but I can tell when amateurs are at the helm. There is a giant AMATEUR at the helm of America.
You will soon find out that the guy they elected down there is an empty suit.
AMEN a different bob.
“Congratulations, according to Obama Canada is now part of IOWA welcome to the 57 states.”
Great!! Where do I go to get a couple of gun permits? I’d like to legalize these paper weights I have on the desk.
Santelli…dude is telling it like it is! At least there is one person working at NBC/MSNBC/CNBC that has a clue about what Obambi’s “stimulus” is going to do to the average person…
There’s a poll now, asking ‘Would you want to join Rick Santelli’s “Chicago Tea Party?’
More than 100,000 votes; 92% voted yes. He may get into the Senate after all.
OT. I would like to know how one is able to show a direct link to a Youtube vid, such as the one shown above, instead using an intermediate link? e.g. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ybxyx-HcFPI
