  5. To those who hoped or feared he was something dramatically different….there are marginal difference in approaches BUT he is an AMERICAN president. Anyone who forgets that will either over or underestimate his actions.
    He also needed to demonstarte early that he wasnt a complete pushover. So this was an easy and inexpensive way to do it.
    MoveOn.Org members dream bubbles are popping at this very moment. Either that or it is now being fully defended as
    “finally, some focus…so glad George Bush is gone so we can focus on the real bad guys” or something like that.
    I await for the criticisms of the Harper government to start, you know the ones, that we arent doing enough to help the US in Afghanistan, that we are cuting and running and that Harper is so ideological he will only help Bush and not Obama….or soemthing like that.

    Pick a clear day (there are lots of them at this time of year) when you can take high resolution satellite images, then announce that you have found Osama bin Laden’s hiding place, and that you are giving people one hour to get out of the way before a really nasty new weapon goes boom there.

    That strike in Pakistan is merely the continued momentum of George W. Bush’s policy.
    Actually, Left of centre, Zero said he would invade Pakistan. That means boots on the ground.
    That was probably before someone informed him that not only is Pakistan supposed to be an Ally, but has 172,800,000 people 6th largest population in the world, with a military of 619,000 personnel ranked 7th in the world. Oh and nook-U-lar weapons too.
    “W” was already sending UAVs into Pak and thumping the enemy, Zero just hasn’t rescinded that order yet, but he will.

So I wonder, has Israel — somebody look this up — has Israel released a statement of concern about the innocents killed by the Obama administration in Pakistan?
