And The Lincoln Memorial Coverage Is SOLD!

To the man with the best “O” in his logo…

WaPo;

Barack Obama’s inaugural organizing committee has struck deals with three television networks to the tune of more than $5 million, giving the networks exclusive access to inaugural events. But the arrangement is prompting questions about the president-elect’s efforts to raise money by turning his inauguration into made-for-TV productions.

Not that it matters. After Obama becomes President, everything America needs will come from money orchards. *

  1. Good. Now the media, movies, major new networks, newspapers, magazines, etc OWN this presidency. We will see how well it goes. But if there is stagflation and high unemployment after four years and 5 trillion dollars of deficit spending, he is going to have a difficult time blaming it on Bush.

  2. VT Tim — sadly, I don’t think he will have such a hard time convincing some (a horridly larger than hoped for “some”) that the economy is all Bush’s fault. And he’ll purposely tank things quick in order to make it look all the better for him I fear. He’s got a lot of help with selling this idea too — movie stars and popular singers…paging Leni Riefenstahfl (sp?)?? The use of “mesmerizing” speeches? The playing the naif and the useful idiot duped by the evil powers that be? Sound familiar to anyone?
    Perchance this ideology of green and social justice is merely a way to tank things in order to rebuild them later, and eventually play the people off against the group that got him into power?
    I think he wants more than just the U.S. — case in point: he mentioned North America, not the U.S. or “our country” only.
    I’m really beginning to feel ill again — thought I’d recovered after the election, but it’s back. Well, at least there was bit of a respite.

  3. The question is not IF there will be an interdiction of Obama’s Presidency by the Supreme Court, the questions are WHEN and HOW that interdiction will transpire — that is, if the USA is to continue as the Constitutional Republic that now exists.
