6. We’ve had so much snow in Ottawa, every day the news and the Weather Network contain hourly warnings about the danger of bringing on heart attacks due to excessive shovelling! But a majestic procession of snow-removal machines just ground past my driveway, obliterating the 5′ ridges we’d built on either side of the entrance. Now that gas is cheap again, the city can afford to run more of these monsters day and night.
