Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

My favourite is a highway sign in North Dakota that reads “Des Lac Lake”.
And the Brits are whining because it’s 12 degrees.
Gimme a break.
“Des Lac Lake”. Like Jeaux Canada Games
…i always liked “aux” French words.
They usually are attached to gifts or games or fun stuff.
not jeaux. my mistake. “jeux canada games” i.e. games canada games
We’ve had so much snow in Ottawa, every day the news and the Weather Network contain hourly warnings about the danger of bringing on heart attacks due to excessive shovelling! But a majestic procession of snow-removal machines just ground past my driveway, obliterating the 5′ ridges we’d built on either side of the entrance. Now that gas is cheap again, the city can afford to run more of these monsters day and night.
These posts don’t make any relevant point since the environmentalists claim it’s an “overall warming trend.” Yes it’s kinda ironic and funny , but putting myself in the shoes of a left-winger, reading these posts would just make me think you people are ignorant.
