Let’s review, shall we?

Via CBC where, for a change, our tax dollars are actually paying for something useful.
(And then there’s the I told you so riding.)
Heh. From reader Pete; “just saw the funniest CTV report ever from the front of the campaign office of Jerry Ritz. Apparently, unlike in the previous two elections, instead of being allowed to cover from inside his office, they have been reporting from outside his office. It looked pretty cold.”
And this just in – Nette Wiebe has just conceded to Kelly Block in Saskatoon – Rosetown – Biggar, which means they know the remaining polls to come in are rural – and Conservative.
Plus – the Twist Of The Knife award!

Well done, Mr. Bernier – may this “STFU” message from your riding to the Canadian media signal your return to cabinet.

I think we have to ask ourselves this serious question: What MORE does Quebec want???? and How much longer are the rest of us expected to take this crap?
Next debate, keep May out, and even Duceppe. All he has to do is campaign in one province. He does not deserve to be in the english debate. And, I concure, Duceppe, take your province out of Canada. What killed Brian and started Reform was his ass kissing to Quebec. Hopefully PMSH will NOT make the same mistake.
Poor talijack, NO 4 again. Did you hear his speech last night, sounded like a campaign kickoff.
To all in the media, PMSH won last night with a larger majority, dion lost big big time.
Lets hope the throne speech mentions huge cuts to the cbc. If dion can tell ctv he wont talk to them, why can’t PMSH kill the cbc.
The ombudsman should be flooded with call re their post election coverage.
I’m happy that Bernier won, but back in Cabinet Kate? Are you on crack? After personally embarrassing Harper to the magnitude that he did?
You want more from the press about how Harper’s bench is so thin on Quebec talent that they have to bring this guy back to cabinet?
No thank you. Bernier can warm the back benches until he shows he’s earned the right to be back in cabinet.
Another Canadian myth exploded yesterday.
Quebecers are savvy when it comes to politics.
The Quebec share of the culture cuts? $15 million.
2 bucks a person to be outside the tent looking in.
Brilliant.
Quebec and Nfld vying for the Ozarks of Canada title.
This is one Maritimer that would love to see the ROC negotiate an after Quebec union.
Do so and then offer Quebec terms to stay.
Losing Quebec would be addition by subtraction.
I was hoping for the Conservative majority. They almost made it. I am thinking that maybe he will come in with a strong mandate that benefits all Canadians and run the Parliament as he has in the past 2.5 years “like he had a majority government”. PMSH is a benefit to Canadians as a leader of our Country, as seen by North America and World.
Kate; maybe you could start a pool of how many floor crosser’s there will be.
Yes, by all means reach out to federalist Quebecers, but also make it clear to all they must make up their mind – are they part of Canada or do they prefer the “Two Solitudes” approach of the separatists.
Tell the BQ and the PQ they should go for sovereignty or jettison it, no more in between. It must be made clear to Quebecers that electing sovereigntists to federal parliament is no longer safe bet – they are precluded from being involved in national decisions that affect them, that the days of sucking up to the Pequistes are over.
Rejoin Canada or make a clean break of it – it is time to make a stand Quebec, instead of sitting in the corner complaining. Protect your culture and language via provincial leadership, and stop sending MPs to Ottawa who have no interest in a Quebec within a united Canada.
Bye Bye Ms. Lysack, I personally will not miss yoU!!!!
That CBC Canada Votes Interactive Map thing was beautiful. The CBC probably had the best website of the night. Hey even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in awhile.
Maxime Bernier 62 – Toxic Titties 0
Now will David Orchard just go away. Just because you have a personal agenda and a big mouth doesn’t mean people will support you or your message. It is a twisted sense of self importance.
On another topic how does Justin Trudeau win a seat? Where is his background and experience. Being the supposed son of Pierre Elliot Trudeau (I would like to see a DNA test proving his father given Maggie’s history) doesn’t make a person a leader.
I’m with everyone else here on Quebec: Sh** or get off the pot. Their whining and whingeing, their playing games, their sheer entitlement to be such prima donnas is getting exceedingly tiresome.
I’d like to see an end to it. Why can’t we have a referendum for the ROC about whether Quebec stays or leaves? There’s no way the rest of us should have to continue to kowtow to Quebecers and cater to their on-again, off-again whims. Enough is really enough.
My Canada used to always include Quebec. Heck, I spent a summer there as a teenager to improve my French, but my patience has run dry. Grow up, Quebec, or take your marbles and get the H*ll out.
The fact that Duceppe has 50 of 75 seats in la belle province is ridiculous. The Bloc wants to see the ruin of Canada, they don’t want to be a part of Canada and yet they sit in our Parliament as the (dis)Loyal Opposition. This is a bad joke and there should be some way to remedy it. There really isn’t a place in our Confederation for a party–or a province–that would just as soon go it alone. Please, be my guest. There’s the door.

Are you kidding? Maggie’s propensity to whoredom aside, there is exactly zero doubt in my mind that the worthless little creep is his father’s son.
One down, two to go…
In another one-sided contest…
Conservative Party of Canada 3 – George Soros 0
Three Conservative MPs were targeted by the George Soros funded “action group” Avaaz. Looks like Avaaz and Soros struck out.

downtown Montreal skyline has not changed one iota since the 70’s
That’s not true. A big chunk fell out of the Olympic Stadium structure and part of the roof imploded.
But seriously, there have been quite a few downtown office and residential towers built since then.

Where’s the disgrace? Organized crime tried to get a minister in their pocket. When that failed, they tried to take him down (and were assisted by the organized media). Instead, the voters returned him with one of the most emphatic mandates in the country (beating several Calgary cons, including Jim Prentice). Disgraceful? heroic would be a better word.
I was told to come to this website for informative dicussion. was i ever misinformed. you people are all so childish and ignorant. and this chick kate what a mean hearted bitch! it’s people like all of you that is what’s wrong with he world. it’s so pathetic.
