Amen. And AMEN. Pastor Lectern.
I had these quotes from Obama’s two books e-mailed to me today. Has anyone read the books that can confirm that they were in fact from his books and are true? Myself I find it hard to believe that they are, something like this could not have been totally overlooked by the MSM.
.
From Dreams of My Father:’I ceased to advertise my mother’s race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites.’
From Dreams of My Father : ‘I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother’s race.’
From Dreams of My Father:’There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white.’
From Dreams of My Father: ‘It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names.’
From Dreams of My Father:’I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn’t speak to my own. It was into my father’s image, the black man, son of Africa , that I’d packed all the attributes I sought in myself , the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBois and Mandela.’
And FINALLY the Most Damning one of ALL of them!!!
From Audacity of Hope: I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.’
if immigration creates wealth why is Toronto’s unemployment 7%
Rest of Canada 6.1
Shouldn’t the place with the most immigration have the lowest unemployment if the propaganda is 1/2 true.
Decadence
God help the U.S. if Obama gets in. They will be left worse off than we were after Trudeau. It will take that country years to undue the harm. God help us also, because with him as president we can kiss our exports and NAFTA goodbye. Picture a Dem as President, a majority Dem Congress and a majority Dem Senate. Socialism will be so cemented in they will never get out. These progressives are not the Dems that governed in John Kennedy’s day. This group has leaned so far to the left that Karl Marx should be dancing in his tomb. Fortunately the citizens still have their guns. But wait, that guy will change the constitution and the likes of Pelosie and Reid et al will make the going easier. As for us we have our problems too. Tell me why the Prime Minister was supposed to have a long face to show sympathy with the worries of Canadians. What does emotion have to do with governing this country. I would rather have a leader that is strong and not emotional, thinks straight and plans for what may be coming. Jack can shed tears at a drop of a hat. Some actor he is. There are a lot of people that keep their emotions within and our Prime Minister happens to be one of them.. Very private. Probably why the MSM hate him so much – nothing like Jean Christien – thank God.
one of the most poignant statements on race relation I’ve heard, and recently, was an interview with the actor Morgan Freeman:
“stop talking about it”.
spoke volumes as to the guilt complex, race card stuff and baggage issues.

Leading geneticist Steve Jones says human evolution is over
Human evolution is grinding to a halt because of a shortage of older fathers in the West, according to a leading genetics expert.

seems odd that you need older fathers for mutations when the average lifespan was but 35 years for more than the past 10000 years and likely much lower for the previous say million.
average lifespan a century ago was 42, average marriage 10 years.

Ad$Cam MartinJr shoots down ClarityActAd$Cam Citoyen Dion.
“In his book, Mr. Martin also criticized the Chrétien government’s 1999 Clarity Act, which established the conditions in which Ottawa would negotiate a province’s secession. Mr. Martin said the law, which Mr. Dion oversaw, was unnecessary in light of a previous Supreme Court ruling.”

“Leak of Martin memoirs sends Liberals scrambling
Former PM accuses Chrétien of sabotage in biting autobiography”
OTTAWA — The Liberals scrambled to contain the fallout of Paul Martin’s scathing autobiography yesterday, fearing their election campaign could be derailed by accusations that Jean Chrétien deliberately undermined the party before his 2003 retirement.
Entitled Hell or High Water, the book is a first-hand account of Mr. Martin’s problem-filled stint as prime minister, and will revisit more than a decade of Martin-Chrétien infighting when it is officially released at the end of the month.
Mr. Martin gives much of the blame for the short life of his government to Mr. Chrétien, saying his predecessor is responsible for the sponsorship scandal’s political fallout and the Liberal Party’s subsequent funding woes.”

Last time there was a big Conservative rally in Quebec (Vaudreuil-Solanges riding) it got zip coverage on the French or English networks (well, Télémetropole did cover the demonstration outside).
Last night there was a big Conservative rally in Laval with Harper, Cannon and a lot of local candidates and the only coverage I’ve seen so far was CTV which had it as background footage, but no mention of where the rally was. We are trying to build momentum here in Quebec, but we are getting no coverage after all our work.
By the way I am getting a little tired of those two clowns in polar bear suits (that are getting a little moth-eaten) which are at all the rallies. Some demonstrators with roll-up banners about Kyoto managed to slip into the large ballroom where the speeches were held very near to Harper, so I am not too impressed with security.
Great speech by Harper with lots of particulars about how the government has been warning about economic slowdown and preparing for it. Also dumped on Gilles Duceppe for his over-the-top insults of Harper. Duceppe, the ex-Marxist Leninist and attacker of a Catholic candidate, says Harper has no morality, among other things.
The crowd was large and very enthusiastic and especially cheered the riding candidate who is from one of the cultural communities (Armenian?).
The MSM is still pounding away on the tiny arts cut to stop the the most obvious waste of our tax dollars. These elitists have never cared about anything expect continuing with their free lunch. Their real reason for all this whining is doing or saying anything that will stop Harper and the Conservatives and get the gravel train back up to speed.
“I think it’s absolutely stupid,” said Ottawa artist Russell Yuristy, 72. “Art brings in money and I can’t believe they [the government] are that stupid, but I’m kind of glad because it won’t help them to get a majority.”

“Hockey moms and capital markets
By Spengler
Why do Asian investors depend on American capital markets? Given the near breakdown of key sectors of the American market, one might expect Asians to bring their money home. Quite the opposite has happened: Asian currencies have fallen sharply against the American dollar.
On my desk is a draft paper by a prominent Asian politician, sent to me privately for comment. It calls on Asians to take charge of their own financial destiny and invest their money in Asian markets rather than into the maelstrom of American markets. Privately, I advised the leader in question not to publish it. It will
do no good. Asian capital markets cannot absorb Asia’s savings.
What does America have that Asia doesn’t have? The answer is, Sarah Palin – not Sarah Palin the vice presidential candidate, but
Sarah Palin the “hockey mom” turned small-town mayor and reforming Alaska governor. All the PhDs and MBAs in the world can’t make a capital market work, but ordinary people like Sarah Palin can. Laws depend on the will of the people to enforce them. It is the initiative of ordinary people that makes America’s political system the world’s most reliable.
America is the heir to a long tradition of Anglo-Saxon law that began with jury trial and the Magna Carta and continued through the English Revolution of the 17th century and the American Revolution of the 18th. Ordinary people like Palin are the bearers of this tradition.”

“The media is taking Harper down, meddling with our democratic rights at every turn. They don’t report the facts, or give full coverage of Harper’s speeches, we know editing is going on to skew his messages. ”
You’re smart enough to see this, but others aren’t? Fair enough, that may be so, but caveat emptor. Uncritical acceptance of media political opinions of any persuasion is a vice punishable by bad government.
Place the blame where it lies – with the voters. If only I didn’t get the government they deserve.
Another post about the G&M article on the leak of Paul Martin’s book. My favorite passage:
“Mr. Martin added that he still cannot understand why Mr. Chrétien decided to prohibit donations of more than $5,000 to political parties. The Liberal Party had always relied on large corporate donations, while the Conservative Party drew more of its funds from a vast database of small donors. “The law’s debilitating effects on the [Liberal] Party were gradual; they were only fully felt after I was replaced by Mr. Dion. He is the one, to my regret, who suffered most from a law that was intended to harm me,” Mr. Martin said.
Goodbye old Libs, hello grassroot power.

“Everyone was shooting their M4s. It was keeping their heads down,” said Tidwell, whose force did not have fire superiority.
Tidwell could have called in AH-64 Apache gunships.
Instead, he pulled down a tiny helmet-mounted display screen and gazed into a satellite image of the battlefield terrain. Tidwell tapped into the computerized ensemble that quickly showed him the exact distance to the grove of palm trees where the enemy was holed up: 819 meters away on an azimuth of 186 degrees.
The mortar section leader then grabbed his 60mm mortar in the hand-held mode, sighted in on the target, and “started dropping HE rounds.”
“I got three rounds out of the tube and on their position before they had time to react to it,” Tidwell said of the high explosives…
In a recent piece, well-respected conservative writer Diana West provides a link to a piece at VDare which claims that Karl Rove is the Architect Of The Minority Mortgage Meltdown.
I don’t know what to make of it yet. At the very least it broadens the blame, reminds us of Bush’s delusional “compassionate conservatism” and perhaps sheds some light on his puzzling resistance to curbing illegal immigration.
Caroline Glick, The convenient war against the Jews
In the end, the global jihad, and the West’s fickle response to radical Islam’s assault on its civilization, is about hating Jews. This truth, never wholly hidden from view, was exposed in all its ugliness in recent months with startling disclosures by former Italian president and Senator-for-life Francesco Cossiga…

“On Faith, Science and the E-Coli Bacteria in Infant Urine”
If you don’t see this yourself you might think I made it up: on faith, science and the e-coli bacteria in infant urine.
This was posted by a group called MEMRI, the extraordinary resource for significant translations from the Arab and Islamic world:
Hamas TV’s Koranic Scientist Dr. Ahmad Al-Muzain: No Scientific Necessity to Wash Off the Urine of Male Infants
Following are excerpts from a program featuring Dr. Ahmad Al-Muzain, a Palestinian expert on Koranic science, which aired on Al-Aqsa TV on September 3, 2008:
Dr. Ahmad Al-Muzain: The Prophet Muhammad said that there is no need to wash off the urine of the male infant. Only the urine of the female infant should be washed. In the case of the urine of the male infant, it is enough to sprinkle water lightly over it. From this, the religious scholars have concluded that the urine of the male is less impure than the urine of the female. This gives rise to many questions: Why is there a distinction between the urine of the male and the female? What is the wisdom in this? Is this, as some Orientalists claim, discrimination against the female, even in infancy? God forbid that this is true.
[…]
In order to prove the wisdom behind this, scientists from an Iraqi university have conducted a unique experiment. Of course, this experiment was supervised by a professor from the International Commission on Scientific Signs in the Quran and the Sunna.
[…]
This experiment proved that a type of bacteria known as E. coli – and you can see a picture of this bacteria behind me… We found this type of bacteria in the urine culture of both male and female infants. What was strange, however, was that the urine of the male infant contained much fewer bacteria than that of the female.
[…]
This proves unequivocally that this is the true religion, and that this knowledge was conveyed to the Prophet by Allah.

“George Soros, Maurice Strong and company redefine the Middleclass
Who is attacking the U.S.? The big casualty in this 21st century U.S. civil war is the Middle Class
The Democrat-loving mainstream media is missing the boat on Warren Buffet’s take of America’s economic meltdown as …”a sort of economic Pearl Harbor we’re going through.”
That being the case, then surely the first question should be: “Who is attacking the U.S.?”
The billionaire’s $5 billion investment in Goldman Sachs Group Inc. at the same time he’s touting the Treasury’s $700 billion bank rescue plan, should be the tipoff.
With so many banksters and fraudsters openly treating the U.S. treasury as their private piggybank, one ponders what‘s really going on.
Is wholesale market manipulation the new al Qaeda?
Unfortunately that’s a concept based far more on fact than paranoia.
The big casualty in this 21st century U.S. civil war is the Middle Class and there will be no Code Pink protests calling off the troops.
While middle class Americans have been busy putting their youngsters through school and college, pooh-bahs like Buffet, George Soros and his Canadian sidekick Kyoto architect Maurice Strong, who hangs out with the likes of Al Gore and “Now-I’m-a-Christian” Mikhail Gorbachev have been rearranging their lives for them.”

Their new book, part memoir, part how-to manual, chronicles the many years of homeschooling which were the outcome of that experience, detailing both their methods and the development of a philosophy in which a home education provides not merely an alternative school experience, but a radical alternative to the school model itself, for which the real if unspoken question is not how to “teach children to find the truth,” but who gets to decide what “truth” means this year: In other words, as the Millmans baldly put it, “who will have the power to indoctrinate them.”…

(Via JCI) Rabbi David Wolpe, Maher’s mockery misses the point
There are three problems with Bill Maher’s new movie [“Religulous”] mocking faith: It misunderstands religion, misconceives God and gets human nature all wrong…
Perhaps Maher’s greatest misunderstanding of religion is his central indictment: that religion is responsible for the world’s violence. It is not. Violence is a product of human nature. Before monotheism, the Assyrians were not kind; the Romans were bloodthirsty beyond the imagination of religious regimes. When religion became less potent in people’s lives after the French Revolution, instead of making the world less violent, it became far more violent: World War I and WWII, communism, Nazism — all shed blood on an unprecedented scale. None were religious regimes or religious wars…
Mr and Mrs voter, be careful what you wish for. I have talked to some people, and read others on blogs, who say that they like Stephen Harper and the job he’s done, but they’ll vote Liberal to prevent CPC majority.
Mark these words, folks. If the polls hold (we will see) and combined Liberal NDP vote is greater than 155 seats, you won’t have to worry about another election anytime soon.
Why? Because Grits and Dippers will combine to defeat government, then go to GG and say they have “confidence” of House.
Result: Canadians end up with socialist government they didn’t ask for, given our system. Dion is our PM, Layton Minister of Finance and Deputy PM. There is no need for coalition here, just ask Bob Rae. That’s precisely what he did to Miller PCs in 1980s.
Frankly, I’m sick of this crap, where opposition act like screaming banshees and nobody calls them “angry,” where Dion stops talking about carbon tax, the central part of his platform, and accuses Tories of not having a “plan” and gets away with it. Tories, who have announced several policy promises, yet MSM acts like they’ve said nothing until today, when platform announced.
We seem to have lost our minds, where we expect government to act like panicky trader yelling “sell, sell” and that passes for leadership.
Canadians better wake up to the reality they are facing, a seizure of power by Grits and Dippers now a real possibility.
Sorry, only lefties are allowed to be angry, and panic, and hide from their platform. What was I thinking.
I love politics, but the garbage happening right now is simply unbearable. Maybe May was right, Canadians are stupid.
Anyway, as far as I’m concerned, Canadians deserve Dion and Layton, who will increase taxes, ramp up spending wildly, and screw many Canadian small business in their quest to nail “polluters,” who are us, BTW.
Keep this in mind in the polling booth. If you want Dion as your PM, just vote Liberal to prevent Tory majority. Atta boy!
I live in a riding where our lightweight Conservative member of Parliament wins by 30,000 votes.
