  1. “The tree has rewritten the history of the climate in the region, revealing that it was much warmer at that time and the ice had disappeared earlier than thought.”
“World’s Oldest Tree Rewrites Climate History, Challenges Global Warming
Scientists used to believe the oldest trees on the planet were in North America with ages in the 5,000-year range.
Hooey, for a new discovery in Sweden has completely debunked this consensus, resulting in a total rewrite of climate history while bringing into serious question global warming theories espoused by Nobel Laureate Al Gore and his sycophant devotees.
Think green media members will be falling over themselves to report this new finding?
While you ponder, consider the evidence supplied by the British Telegraph Thursday (emphasis added):” http://tinyurl.com/4yne8e (newsbusters)

  2. And we do KNOW FOR A FACT that the Librano Adscam munney DID BUY elections seats in Quebec, because they lost their a$$ there in the last election when the Crooked Liberals did not have the MUNNEY TO DOLE OUT.
At the very least, Elections Canada should have banned the Liberal party from contesting those 10 to 15 Quebec ridings where they admitted Adscam munney was brown-bagged.
There are Banana Republics that have better election officials than this slimey crowd in Ottawa.

  3. MaryM you beat me to it..
A judge in Mexico has found Canadian Brenda Martin guilty and sentenced her to 5 years in jail in connection with an Internet scam run by her former boss.

  4. Muslim call to adopt Mecca time
    By Magdi Abdelhadi
    BBC Arab affairs analyst
Didn’t know Mecca was the center of the Earth.
Lets just dump our calander for Islams, including the dating system. It is now the year 1429 AH.
Time to rid ourselves of the Christian or Jewish Calanders. Islam trumps all according to the Barbra Halls of the world. Not to adopt it would be Islamaphobic. They would be offended. Next we will be waring star of davids for Jews & a yellow patch for christians, so radical Muslims would not be unclean or offended by non Muslims. This way they could tell. Why not as well have all non Muslims pay a special Islamaphobic tax to off set their hurt & pain.

  5. When it comes to our media and the Liberal Party, intelligent people realize there is ALWAYS more to the story.
Liberals drive all the way from Ottawa to Toronto to get judge to sign “in and out” warrant. Judge just happened to be big Allan Rock supporter, financial donator to Liberal Party, and appointed by, of course, the Liberal Party. But then, they all are, aren’t they?
As Tony Montana should have said: I bury those Liberals.

  6. Yeah, I just read it too, poor innocent (according to CTV’s commentors) finally got the justice she deserves. The pitiful thing is she can be extradited to Canada to serve her sentence and get double time credit for time served in Mexico and according to Canada’s tough parole system, will be out on parole ASAP. Pity as Corrections Canada could really use an in-house belly dance instructor. One can only wonder if she gets double Airmiles too.

  7. The reason I don’t own credit cards & only use cash is simple.
It has nothing to do with my religious or moral convictions. It all comes down to two horrid words that will shrink you into poverty if not bankrupts. Compound Interest. Every month.

  8. I wonder if Brenda Martin even holds a valid passport??? I also wonder if she has filed her taxes for the last ten years……

  9. CTV(tass) reports her as innocent, but consider what the judge sees. she gets severed by a guilty party and reinvests right back in with the same guy.
She is obviously looney . everytime we see her she is either prancing around all dolled up like a payday hooker or howling like a dog tied to a hayrack.
If CBCpravda had the dibs on this story like CTV(tass) seems to. we would have Omar Khadr in on the same page.

  10. No bias here folks !!. Stephen LeDrew, former liberal everything is now labelled on Newman’s show as Stephen LeDrew ‘lawyer’. Totally objective, that fella, you gotta believe what he says. Yeah right. On the assertion that the manufactured ‘in and out’scandal helped Harper,of course the ads helped….But how much were the liberals helped by the burying of the enormous(about $350,000) secret payout to Mr. Entitlement(dingwall) on the Friday afternoon before Monday’s election? I believe that Dingus was going to spill some inside info on the sponsorship thefts and was paid to keep his mouth shut. How much were the libs helped by the silence over Mr. Fancy-pants from King-Hants being questioned by the RCMP about his bullshit story over the income trust fiasco on the 18th of January,5 days before the election? Scotty originally said he passed on the info to a man he met at a Stones concert, who just happened to be an investment banker? In the words of the great Etta James,”LIES,LIES,LIES,that is all you give me”

  11. Idiom Dictionary: “Different strokes for different folks.”
“her Senate seat” is safe. “But she added she’s expected to make a full recovery.”
It’s a cover story for her. She was turfed out.
    …-
“Liberal party president Marie Poulin resigns after suffering mild stroke”
“Poulin, who was elected in December 2006, says she intends to keep her Senate seat representing Ontario.” (canpress)

  12. The situation for the Liberal Party is enough to cause apoplexy for any of their apologists.
The desperation is evident everywhere a Liberal appears even among their friends in the Media, they can’t contain it, it jumps out.
Anyone have the pleasure of watching Giggles Taber filling in for Duffy today? Sad excuse for journalism.
When will they all get it? When will they twig we are onto them? When will they realize it’s the end time for their Liberals for at least a decade?
They don’t even have the sense to realize they’re not in any position to govern. They can’t even accept the peoples’ choice and graciously fill the role of Official Opposition.

  13. “with suspects continuing to emerge from unexpected quarters,”
These “unexpected quarters” include Royal Ornithilogaical Socierty (Prince Charles Honorary Matron), Epping Downs and Tophma Hat Riding-to-Hounds Club, Leeds Tudor Rose-Growing Sect, Lord Buffin’s Beekeepers, Old Bailiey, Bernard Shaw Labour Society, and etc.”

“Police have foiled 15 terror plots in Britain since the 2000, Ian Blair reveals
    Daily Mail (UK) ^ | 22nd April 2008
Police have foiled 15 terror plots since the turn of the century, with suspects continuing to emerge from unexpected quarters, senior officers said yesterday.”

  14. While some alternate energy sources may indeed be feasible some day, the glamour ones (biofuels, wind, ect) seem to be falling out of favour.
Remember when BP came out with their flower ad, Beyond Petrolium ? Well, seems they have had a change of heart.
[“To say that ‘BP’ stands for Beyond Petroleum is such an utter joke. It should stand for Being Phony,” says Gregg Steiner, whose Los Angeles business, Green Life Guru, helps homeowners and businesses become more eco-friendly. “It makes me want to throw up every time I see BP lying to us on Sunday morning while watching ‘Meet the Press.’ It is all smoke and mirrors.”
    Back to petroleum?
In its most recent annual report, BP maintains that it still has “aspirations of no or minimal damage to the environment” when developing energy sources. Environmentalists aren’t convinced.
Their chief gripe: BP has jumped on the Canadian oil-sands bandwagon. Green activists say developing that oil will cause vast damage stretching from Canada to the U.S. refineries where the gooey source of hydrocarbons will be converted into oil.] MSN Finance
I guess it is just that the other majors are providing what the people want. Dependable, cheaper energy.
[But given that competitor ExxonMobil (XOM.N) has a return on equity nearly 50% higher than BP’s, green advocates worry what it does mean. (BP’s stock, by the way, is down about 5% over the last year — better than the S&P 500 ($US:INX), but not Exxon, which is up 13%.)] MSN-F

  15. the G&M reports on AB budget;
“Forecasted spending is up in every government department except one: sustainable resource development. That ministry is planning to spend less this year because it expects fewer natural disasters.”

  17. Kate, isn’t the following point worth making:
Overwhelming evidence top liberal party members stole taxpayer funds and distributed to various ridings(adscam)-
Elections Canada Response: no investigation whatsoever to determine which ridings got the stolen money, how it was used. Nothing.
The CPC engages in internal funds transfers in a manner apparently done by all of the other parties in previous elections –
Elections Canada Response: engages in the largest most invasive investigation in its history.

  18. Adscam.
Sworn evidence accepted by a tribunal that millions of stolen funds was distributed to Liberal ridings. It was beyond the scope of the tribunal to investigate the use of funds in the subsequent election.
What do you think Elections Canada’s response to this flashing neon sign pointing to impropriety was?
It’s like a beat cop walking past the guy holding a smoking gun over the bloody corpse, to give the “unwanted type” across the street a frisking for littering.
