Moment of Truth in Iraq

From “the longest serving embedded journalist in Iraq” – Michael Yon’s new book is #8 on Amazon with a bullet. So, the lack of reporting out of Iraq by the mainstream hacks isn’t due to lack of public interest, after all.
You can also catch an interview with Glenn Reynolds.

  1. I guess this is a stupid question, but why doesn’t some member of MSM put Yon on the payroll or occasionally publish a bylined feature of his?

  2. Cynical Joe,
It’s because the MSM in Canada wants the muslim terrorists to defeat the USA.
That’s why their reporting is so biased and only shows the blood and guts and not the cookies and cream.

Quality MSM are well aware of the man’s capabilities and value:

That’s an op-ed piece, admittedly, but it still indicates approval by one of the finest newspapers going.

  4. Just finished the book a few nights ago, he does a really fantastic job, and if you listen to the podcast it’s striking how much of a regular person he is or sounds like – not a high-and-mighty MSMer.

  5. No. The lack of reporting is solely due to their being not enough blood and not much that can be spun negatively to further the Bushitler cause.

  6. This website has been keeping us updated via Michael Yon for years. Kate links to the Torch and the Torch features Michael Yon on a regular basis – we are so fortunate, in this country, to have good, solid news reporters at our fingertips (errr keyboards). People without Internet and/or curiosity, not so much. Msm has relied on the inability of most citizens to find access to the real news to keep themselves in business. Today there is really no excuse to rely on the msm spin ‘all Liberano all the time’ (Cal 2).
    Thank-you Kate.
