Where the foxes caper unmolested, the government packs your school lunch and you’re not leaving this house without your government-issued hormone implant, young lady;
With teenage pregnancies vastly increased in number in the last decade, the authorities – in an apparent attempt to rectify the problem – have encouraged teenagers to engage in oral sex (instead of copulation), and are now examining the idea of compulsory sex lessons for 5 year olds. As if Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World is playing out before our eyes, government minister Dawn Primarolo has even suggested that teenage girls should be sterilized. That way they would be free to have sex with anyone they want, or don’t want.

This could have an upside. All our pedophiles will start booking flights to jolly old.
I think the Brits should just cut to the chase. Sign up for a lobotomy and feeding tube, and be done with individual liberty and responsibility altogether.
“Currently, our teenage pregnancy rate is twice as high as in Germany, three times as high as in France and six times as high as in the Netherlands.”
It seems British teenage girls are breeding like mosquitos. Good, they might stave off the inevitable for a few years.
OK. So just what are “compulsary sex lessons”?
Making a 5-year old watch Mommy and Daddy go at it? Or watching Mommy/Boyfriend/,Daddy/Girfriend go at it? Or Daddy/Daddy,Mommy/Mommy do it?
OR….making the kid participate?
Cripes. No wonder the useless wanker brits are going down the tubes. They are ,in defacto, instituting what the pedophile prophet longs to have.Sex with minors, covering it under the pose of liberaling teaching them what not to do!
“It seems British teenage girls are breeding like mosquitos”
Oops, the Brits will have business for the CHRC.
The thing that gives me pause is that when Brit officials say these insane things they are clearly speaking to a -receptive- audience.
There’s a market for it, or they wouldn’t still be in power.
I am all for the 5 year pill,in fact make it compulsory on their 13th birthday. It would stop kids from having kids. How many children between those ages should be raising children? Go for it England, and hopefully it will catch on here. What could anyone say,Children have the right to have children and we have the obligation to raise them?
The problem with these pills is the young girls likely won’t menstrate while taking them and that’s not good for the development of young ‘uns.
I don’t suppose the UK gov’t can see any correlation between the sex classes they’ve been providing already, and the increase in pregnancies. And abortions. They haven’t been increasing the birth rate, just the pregnancies.GOv’t sponsored marketing for Planned Parenthood services. (I hear they’re making a tidy profit…)
wallyj,
That sounds a lot like the great idea of the CPC to start inoculationg for HPV at age 13, through the schools. Now, that’s a great Conservative idea.(I say its their idea because they funded it). Go looking for pseudo health stuff to pump money into. While we’re at it, why not use a drug that is controversial amongst scientists and doctors….
Why do I keep thinking of “A Modest Proposal” when reading this?
I keep thinking of the Fabians, and their enthusiasm for birth control and sterilization. They weren’t of course, imagining the educated upper classes and elite limiting their numbers, but the unwashed proles that people like George Bernard Shaw had such a visceral distaste for. I can’t help but hear an echo of this in said minister’s prescription.
Edmund Burke: “All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing”…or something to that effect.
Words to consider when this scourge tries to invade our society and touch our children.
“Currently, our teenage pregnancy rate is twice as high as in Germany, three times as high as in France and six times as high as in the Netherlands.
It seems British teenage girls are breeding like mosquitos. Good, they might stave off the inevitable for a few years.”
– no one has said that they are carrying the pregnancies to term–I would venture that well over 90% are aborted.
Oh my progressive policies gone awry, and how do they want to fix it……. lets be even more progressive.
Positive thinking at its “best”.
I don’t know how parents there keep themselves from throttling the powers that be?
Problem: some teenagers are having sex and some are having babies.
Then, the Left blames the too rigid conservative Christian culture and introduce sex liberalism and education
then, problem gets worse
then, the Left claims it needs to further liberalise sex, teach sex ed a couple years younger, reduce discipline
then, problem gets worse
then, the Left demands further state control of children, no parenting wanted, put them in daycare/school all day, don’t discipline at all, don’t educate basics but rather teach more socialist propaganda,
then, problem gets worse
then, a multitude of other state interventions, topped with teaching 5 year olds how to have sex
then, problem is resolved.
Or, that is what the Left promises will happen this time!! Really, this time we can trust them to get it right!
I am always amazed at the thought process or rather lack of it, that makes progressives think that all these teenage pregnancies are a result of lack of knowledge. Getting preggers at 13 is not a result of her not being taught about sex in kindergarden.
The youth of today are a lot more knowledgeable today than back in my time given the accessibility to information these days. And yet the numbers of unwed teenage mothers keeps going up. Ever wonder why? Could welfare cheques, highschool daycare and the general acceptance in these times of entitlement be part of the problem?
The UK has become Huxley’s technocratic police state…any Canadian politician that suggests we should be more like Britain or do things their way is your enemy…that simple.
The moral vacuum left by ripping Christianity out of the heart of western nations is breath-taking.
It’s the logical consequence of denying individual responsibility and attempting to protect everyone from the adverse consequences of their own behavior. Under the old regime the individual suffered and often, as an unfortunate by product, the individual child also suffered. However, humans responding as they do to operant conditioning, the adverse consequences generally prevented a repeat, and observation of the adverse consequences warned others away from dysfunctional behavior. The bottom line is that the children of these promiscuous couplings are going to suffer — in terms of substandard parenting, absence of a father, economic and educational disadvantage, social dysfunction etc even if the mothers are funded by the state. So it really boils down to a question of how many such children the state wants created — a few, with attendant economic adversity right from the get go, or a lot with less economic/social adversity at the very start but severe long term adversity over the course of their entire lives. Britain’s call.
‘It’s the logical consequence of denying individual responsibility and attempting to protect everyone from the adverse consequences of their own behavior’
Right on Dr.D…and this is evidenced in all levels….health care, education and ‘justice.
Canada has claimed sex ed would prevent pregnancies…wrong.Teaching sex without morals has brought this problem to Britain, and it is rampant in Canada.
Does anyone teach their kids to wait for marriage?It’s-that-simple.
I really wonder how much thought went into this proposal. My first thought is that this would effectively spread STD’s to nearly every teen in England. To me this sends a message to teens that they are expected to have sex as much as they possibly can. What’s more if you take the risk of getting pregnant out of the equation, you reduce the incentive for using condoms. What teen boy is going to bother with condoms when he knows that every girl his age is on birth control?
TomB
That IS the Canadaian highschool scene you are talkng about…truly sad….
lwestin,
who funded HPV vaccines depends on which province you live in. McShifty did it here in Ontario.
Regardless, vaccines against desease are a slight bit different than forced sterilization, sex-ed for pre-teens and abortion.
Warwick..hate to say it but it was a Fed-CPC project. I’ll look for the link….one of my biggest disappointments with PMSH.
bluetech,
either/or, there is a gaping chasm that lies between vaccinating girls from desease and sterilizing them so they can have sex with everything that moves.
I don’t have a problem with the former.
Oral sex and sterilization don’t prevent STDs, so what the He** are they talking about?
STDs can kill you–and often do–whereas having a baby, usually, doesn’t.
As the mother of daughters, this talk makes my blood boil. Who are these Cretins? Do they not have daughters…or sisters…or female cousins?
Oh, I know! They’ve got lots of shares in a pharmaceutical company. That’s it! More money for them–and isn’t that what it’s REALLY all about? ‘Not our daughters’ safety, health, or well-being. It’s all about THEIR big, fat bank accounts.
all the better to have breast cancer with.
dinosaur: ‘You got it.
The pharmceuticals win every way, whether it’s contraceptives, cancer-treating drugs, or drugs to treat the many after-effects of abortions.
They’re laughing all the way to the bank as they and their shareholders encourage everyone to be sexually active all of the time: ‘Good for business, you know.

Bingo it is socially acceptable to be sexually active as a child, and if you do get pregnant the state will take care of you and the child for a lifetime. Britains on generation three of welfare rats, can you image three generation of people never working or contributing to the tax base of your country. Well yea I guess I can understand since Canada is on the cusp of generation three at this very minute.
The left have desensitized society to accept unwed single mothers as the norm and that families made up of mom and dad and children as being ole fashioned and out of date. They’ve made family values repulsive to our young via education and indoctornation and we cons PAID for this indoctornation. Make teenage pregnacies an issue to be ashamed of instead of rewarding them? Just a thought.
Good thought, Rose–well, not “good” but accurate and thoughtful.
Rose the parents are the ones who need to do the teaching and they aren’t doing it. Pregnant teenagers need not be shamed it’s their goddamn unthinking , uncaring parent(s) and an enabling, even encouraging, liberal government.
Did everyone miss the title of the first article? “Racial Tension, and Sexual Exploitation”
You reap what you sow and the Liberal left has a field of problems to harvest! Of course they run, point fingers and deny, but at least we know the fight is a worthy one regardless of their disregard for their nation and responsibilities.
What a cesspool the UK is becoming! Shameful and sad.
