Sask Election Roundup

So far, the best take on Karwacki.
“Lying Ass Lorne”– on gas tax revenues.
Don’t forget to play the Saskatchewan Election Market! My tip: “NDP shares are currently underpriced”.
Another good omen for the SaskParty – because, as every Rider fan knows, we have never won a Grey Cup under an NDP administration.
Hey, Lorne – 1982 called. They’d like their bogeyman back.

The Vandalism Continues…. “No More NDP” signs placed by a private citizen (they were mounted on large round bales near Hwy 7) were torched last night. And who’s the “scary” party, again?
(I’ve chuckled every time I’ve driven past this display this past week. If someone can pop out and get me photos, I’ll post them).

  1. I do enjoy all the signals, that a ‘change’ might be in the wind, finally! but i’d really like to say that we’re still not pushing down hard enough with our boot, on the neck of the ndp! ladies and gentlemen, there’s still a full week to go, and remember the lessons, a desperate party will do what ever it takes! we’ve seen it from this party before! there’s just too much on the line, to let calvart to return to power. stick with the program, keep working hard, any way you can to defeat this regime. remember the reward will be great, there are so many books to go through, so many files to read, so many numbers to check over, and so much mismanagement to expose, and so many deals to shine light upon. keep working, keep working!

  2. Not only did 1992 call, so did Terry Gilliam. Trey Parker and Matt Stone were thinking about it, but didn’t want to be associated with sub par animation.

  3. i used to do business in sask. have a friend out there, one, he could never understand why they were so socialist. it was as if people who had nothing thought a government who would take the nothing they had could give them back something??????????

  4. “My first thought at watching that was “Are they running short of money???”
That was my first thought when I read the post about the Same Old Sask Party poaching a web design template.

  5. Holy crap the Liberals under David Karwacki just might be able to see their worst result ever which would be fitting for the worst leader they have ever had.

  6. Really, it’s quite irrelevant if 100% of fuel taxes are spent on highways. There’s still the legacy of debt from the last dalliance with the right-wing alternative that must be serviced, and of course all those freeloading farmers have to be subsidized from cradle to grave.

  7. Its been 25 years since the last Right Wing Alternative. Most mortgages are wrote of 25 years. If you can’t manage to find or raise cash within 25 years, you SHOULD be booted out of the house.

  8. Wrong, Decker. The right-wing alternative was ELECTED 25 years ago. That’s when they BEGAN their dark decade of corruption, incompetence and ideological excess. That being said, the debt could have been paid off if the NDP had done the right thing and got those freeloading farmers off the public teat.

  9. I think most of you on this blog don’t have houses and you are a little out of touch with the people. When you have kids and cars to pay for it’s hard to pay everything off. I can speak from experience. A lot of people I know got help from Mom and Dad. I didn’t. Some of you bloggers on here are full of boloney.

  10. ..by which I mean that several of those types of signs I have put up have been burnt by others, I hasten to add.
Just in case an ambiguous message was received.

  11. OK4UA, Don’t you think it would be a lot easier for you if the governm, ent stopped taking your money from your pay check before you saw it??

  12. Don’t you think it would be a lot easier for you if the government stopped taking your money from your pay check before you saw it?
Yes, but how does that relate to this election?

  13. Actually ok4ua, you are right – most of us posting on this site don’t have houses. We refer to them as estates or mansions. All of us have always sat on our butts while making gajillions of dollars off of the backs of little people like yourselves. I think we don’t say thankyou enough and for that I appologize for all of us. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Oh yea – one more thing. Take care of your back as my Lear jet is almost a year old and it’s time for an upgrade.

  14. Look, I’m just so sick of so many folks in Saskatchewan living in the past, be it the Tommy years (it wasn’t THAT great), or dredging up sh*t from 25 years ago. Even today, the best the NDP can do is pull selected quotes from the LAST campaign. This he said she said sh*t floating around is just so much lip flapping. For the first time in a long time, there is good opportunity for a positive change. I for one would like to see some renovations done around this big square box. I’d like to see folks get off their @sses and DO something.
Phew, thanks for the use of your shoulder. Been a long three weeks…..

  15. We have a strong economy here in Sask. Grain production is at a 10 year high. We have it so good that people can afford a Tory gov’t. That’s too bad. We have a high standard of living and an economic boon. I guess we want to be broke again and if anybody can break us it’s the Sask?Tory party.

  16. Liberals balive in fredom of spech unless your a consertaive then they turn lose their brown shirt thugs

  17. i happen to know of a guy that spray painted swastikas on sask party signs in regina. i also know where he works if anyone is interested, and his first name.

  18. I guess all you NDPers love to be talked down to like little children. That ad was enough to make me barf my breakfast.Go Riders and Sask Party!

  19. Re burnt bales of hay – the lefties are in fact quite violent people – vampire moonbats, if you will. If they had the guts of al-Quaida, and started to use suicide bombers, we would have quite a problem on our hands.
