  1. Yup a worthy cause indeed, Terry Glavin is not your typical frothing at the mouth progressive, his blog is always worth a read. This effort on Choudhury’s behalf deserves support.

  2. The religion of peace issues another death warrant for a heretic/infidel??? Say it ain’t so!

  3. I wonder what John Lennon would have to say to this, after raising money for them if still alive ?

  4. BCF:
You are probably right. I was never a big fan of either. I was more a Jimi Hendrix kinda guy.

  5. Thanks for noticing this, Kate. And I hope everyone whose attention you’ve drawn to this will sign, and pass it on. Shoaib’s a great guy.

  6. So they need 10,000 signatures, eh.
But are there even 5,000 scholars in all the Middle East?
I remember my brother buying that “Concert For Bangladesh” album with the purple cover.
It was awful, but what I can’t understand now is why Geroge Harrison supported the establishment of an islamic state in which Hindus have gone from 30% to just 8% of the population.
But then in the late60s/early70s, among a certain stoner class, “Shiva” and “Allah” were considered much the same.
