kingstonlad, would that cement plant have a Lafarge logo on the building? I ask because the Lafarge plant in Exshaw, Alberta tried that experiment about thirteen years ago. It didn’t work very well there. It’s hard to keep a controlled temperature. I worked on the system up until the guy I was working working with took a sixty-five foot header in the preheat tower. Saddest day of my life. Still brings tears to my eyes. He was married with two kids. He was one of those guys who was making the “easy money”.
