I could not have said it better! well done.
I just wish we could have one like this for Jack Layton
It’s a conundrum. Funny, but then it really isn’t.
That’s beautifully funny. I randomly came to your blog because it sent a reader to mine, because of the 2006 being colder than previous years.
In Czechia we often use the term “Munich betrayal” for what Chamberlain signed in 1938. France and Britain were full-fledged allies obliged by various treaties to defend each other and failed miserably.
Needless to say, Stalin was more helpful against Hitler which was one of the reason why his system could spread in Central Europe after the war. Another disaster.
I hope that some important people have learned the lesson, after all.
History can…..and will…. repeat it’s self… sadly 🙁
Excellent education video for Liberals!
Humerous, entertaining and a fun way to lift the veil of self-deception from those who march blindly behind quitters like Sheenan and Michael Moore. = TG
Mr. Ahmadinejad:
“There will be peace in our time AFTER we wipe Israel off the map.”
Sure, and Cameco and Denison Mines will supply the uranium to the Iranians, to help in this peace inspiring endeavour. NOT.
Mushroom clouds, the harbingers of peace, coming to a glass laden piece of desert near you.
Remember George Orwell:
“All Animals Are Equal, But Some Animals Are More Equal Than Others.”
Thus we have the Iranian animals are more equal than the Israeli animals.
Kate, why don’t you ever report the good news from Iraq?
And if there isn’t any, just make some up, like you normally do.
Saw the Baker video. Brilliant!
Great video
Good for a chuckle while we whistle past a graveyard of our own making.
The chamberlain analogy is a false one. A more appropriate one would be US/USSR diplomatic relations during the cold war. Skepticism over Iran isn’t the issue, everyone has a healthy dose of that. Sharp leadership on our side is the issue, that we don’t have.
Given your leftist/Liberal bent, Jose, I think a pertinent question would be: “Just whose side ARE you on?”
History will repeat itself, as it has done over and over again for all of our recorded history. Egyptian persecution of the Jews. Roman persecution of the Jews. Christian persecution of the Jews. Spanish, French, Dutch, English, Italian, and German persecutions. They are blamed for anything and everything. They are murdered, they are enslaved, they are tortured, they are expelled, they are forced to convert. When the horrors of what Adolf Hitler did to them were revealed for the world to see, most of the world was outraged and pledged to never let it happen again. Yet here we are, some 50 years later, and a good portion of the western world blames the Jews for the problems in the Middle East. Despite the hatred, the bloodthirst, and the openly proclaimed desire for genocide coming from the Muslim leaders, many feel the Jews are the villians. The propaganda campaign has been in full swing for three decades now. Many who staunchly defended Israel now feel they are partly responsible. The Muslim world WILL attempt to exterminate the Jews. The only question is, how much of the rest of the world will stand idly by and let it happen again?
