We were outnumbered by pro-Hezbollah types at least 10 to one, maybe 15 to one. The cops put a large no-man’s land between us and them. We had a bunch of Israeli flags and one megaphone. The other side had a superior sound system, probably paid for by CUPE, who were there in droves, carrying large pink (?) banners.
Typical of every Toronto demo, the Socialist Worker was there too, hawking their ugly newspaper, this one with a MUMIA VS US IMPERIALISM headline. The Communist Party of Canada is so stupid they were handing out brochures with Green Helmet on the cover; one of us explained who he was, told her to google “green helmet”, and the women was apparently a little taken aback. Who knows: maybe a convert was made to the right side of history.
Also lots of what I call “Oka flags” were highly visible on the pro-terror side — surprise!
I have a feeling the pro-Hez gang is planning to make this a semi-regular event, so hey, if you missed this one, believe me: there will be others. Unfortunately. It would be nice if we could outnumber them at least once.
PS: it was nice meeting up with some readers of this blog, too. Rich, if you make me one of your INFIDEL hats I promise to wear it next time.
Maybe the immigration enthusiasts for unrestricted immigration into Canada, will take a look at these pictures and remember something about cause and effect.
What do you think they would learn here? Screen out the wealthy white students and subsidized activitsts, and all leftists will see is people with exciting brown skin and exciting anti-American politics “resisting” “imperialism” or whatever, and demand even more open borders.

As upsetting as the Toronto rally may be, the bigger issue is the Montreal rally where elected politicians actually took part and endorsed the affair. Has anyone asked/heard a response from our esteemed liberal Member of parliament and his bloc friend on why they continued to march in an event with Hezbollah flags flying, apparently in plain view based on the pictures of the rally? (Note; this is based on the assumption said pictures weren’t from Reuters photogs)
PS – with more advance notice I”m pretty sure that a pro-Israel, anti-terrorism gathering could outnumber these individuals. Look at the large pro-Israel rally a couple of weeks back, the numbers were huge although underreported by the MSM. Its as if they want us to think this pro Hezbollah position is the norm and that there is a huge undercurrent of support so they can sway people to think this is an ‘OK’ and reasonable position to have.

What is interesting is how ‘group-structures’, understood as sets of people who operate only within collectives, are so very similar in their behaviour. Therefore, it is understandable that the left, the socialists, the communists and the tribalists (eg. those in the Middle East), the Islamic fascists etc will collaborate together. They all operate within the same cognitive structure.
This cognitive structure is collectivist, heavily peer-enforced, focused around ONE mindset, one perspective, one set of authoritative and non-debatable Normative Rules (called the common denominator). The pressure to conform to this one set of beliefs and behaviour can also be enhanced by the insertion of a mythic ‘Hero Leader’, who commands obedience, devotion and unquestioning acceptance. The ‘Hero Leader’ can be an individual or a dogma (Communist Manifesto).
A second major characteristic of groups, besides their rejection of individualism and the pressure to conform to an unchanging, static and authoritarian common denominator, is that the ‘glue’ that holds people together in a group is emotional rather than rational. Emotion, which rejects analysis, facts, reason, objective observation etc – is a major component of group solidarity. The emotion is derived from the focus on the Pure Authority of the Set of Beliefs, or of the Leader, or The Original or Future Purity mode of life. This emotional base is very powerful and it is further enhanced by a deep and very vocal Hatred of Others. Groups are always isolationist; they must have some other group to hate.
The function of groups is stability – which they accomplish by forbidding diversity, questions, deviation from these authoritative Normative Rules. And of course, the rejection of reason and facts, enables these fictional beliefs of the group to continue unchallenged for many years.
BUT – a key problem with groups, rests within their rejection of reason. If the group has no problems of economy etc, then, it can remain stable for hundreds of years. BUT – if there are any problems – if the population grows beyond the capacity of the economy, if other groups intrude in the territory, if there is a natural ecological problem such as drought, rotting of the crops, etc, etc – this group has absolutely no capacity to deal with any problems. It rejects individuals; it rejects thinking; it rejects reason and analysis. All it can do when faced with internal problems, is hate others. It has no capacity to reason, to examine its Basic Priniples which are, anyway, defined as Primal and Inviolate. It has no capacity to observe the real factual world, for groups live within their own authored, Fictional Worlds. Therefore, groups will always deal with problelms by externalizing causality – they’ll blame some other group.
Therefore, the left, the communists, the Islamic fascists, the tribalists, rather than facing factual reality and their own inability to deal with internal problems, and the fact that they live in a fictional rather than factual world – will set up an Evil Satan. In this case, it’s America. They ignore, of course, all the benefits that the American Way has brought them.
I note, in a scientific paper, which states “larger memory sizes of individual players tend to lower the possibility of the emergence of large hubs with many connections. Interestingly, this phenomenon can be interpreted in that ‘smarter’ players effectively prevent the appearance of ‘dictators’ with big power” (S. Lee and H. Jeong. Effects of substrate network topologies on competition dynamics’ Feb 2006).
What this means is that individualism (ie, with larger memories, increased analytic capacity) prevents the emergence of dictatorships and totalitarianism.
But group-ism enables dictatorships and totalitarianism.
A few screwballs (some of them false flag operators) with offensive signs prove nothing whatever. Contrarywise, what DOES prove something is the huge worldwide distribution of these same images, all at once. it shows that the free Megaphone software is working its magic.

If our police and politicians cannot bring themselves to face the reality of the times then I think Mr. and Mrs. Joe and Jane average Canadian have a duty to take the law into their own hands. A horrible thing to contemplate but I believe it has truly come to this point. Get rid of those PIG people and send them back where they came from. Racist? No, just protective of my way of life and willing to protect that way of life in any way necessary, ANY WAY. Just that average Joe pushed past the point of reason, and very resentful of those that have pushed him there. My philosophy of life has always been one of live and let live, no more. As you know, I agree there is disturbingly broad support for terrorist within the Muslim community. But, I also know there are many good moderate Muslims in our societies that are here because they fled tyranny, LOVE OUR NATIONS, and that are NOT onside with terrorists. There are many Muslims both at home and abroad that ARE working to help our efforts to bring moderate, tolerant Islam to the fore, and that are working to protect the western countries that took them in and their fellow citizens.
There are a number of cases of terrorist plots that were busted down because of tips from concerned Muslims who saw suspicious activity within the community. Most recently, the Bojinka II plot was uncovered and assisted BY MUSLIMS. Progress is being made in Iraq, Afghanistan, and elsewhere within the ME.
Let the state fight the security battle. Support the state within the law by fighting for what you believe in ideologically, legally, politically. But do not get confused about the nature of YOUR role in the solution.
The internet is opening up access to societies that have been hidden behind closed walls. I frequent the blogs of many Muslims in Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, Iraq, Iran, Canada, America. There are liberal, moderate, and radical opinions and the opportunity to exchange ideas and disclose facts to win the ideological battle (and we surely ALL hope this remains largely an ideological battle — Cold War II, if you will). Those who support responsible positions tend to be those with jobs who believe in self sufficiency, as well as justice. The politicians, journalists and intellectuals of Lebanon have, of late, been experiencing the shock of their lives. They knew full well that Hezbollah had created an independent state in our country, a state including all the ministers and parallel institutions, duplicating those of Lebanon. What they did not know – and are discovering with this war, and what has petrified them with surprise and terror – is the extent of this phagocytosis.
In fact, our country had become an extension of Iran, and our so-called political power also served as a political and military cover for the Islamists of Teheran. We suddenly discovered that Teheran had stocked more than 12,000 missiles, of all types and calibers, on our territory and that they had patiently, systematically, organized a suppletive force, with the help of the Syrians, that took over, day after day, all the rooms in the House of Lebanon. Just imagine it : we stock ground-to-ground missiles, Zilzals, on our territory and that the firing of such devices without our knowledge, has the power to spark a regional strategic conflict and, potentially, bring about the annihilation of Lebanon.
We knew that Iran, by means of Hezbollah, was building a veritable Maginot line in the south but it was the pictures of Maroun el-Ras and Bint J’bail that revealed to us the magnitude of these constructions. This amplitude made us understand several things at once : that we were no longer masters of our destiny. That we do not possess the most basic means necessary to reverse the course of this state of things and that those who turned our country into an outpost of their islamic doctrine’s combat against Israel did not have the slightest intention of willingly giving up their hold over us.
