The true colours of the Lieberal party are now coming out, (from their ‘advisors’-who will shortly be looking for new employment.) “Welcome to Wally Mart.” and “Do you want fries with that?”
Do we really expect any different from Liberal apparatchiks? I mean, the underlying psychological malfeasance of the liberal creed is proven to be liniar in ALL partisan librals. In Klander’s literary vileness we see the genetic fanatical hubris and whorish tribalism that is core to the liberal psyche, and by extention, its governing mindset.
Nasty mouth and a corruptable soul…in this case the best loyalty Martin could buy fo inclusion in the popcorn and beer club….The Liberal sandbox is full of these ill mannered spoiled brats.
Is this a precursor to what Harper and any conservative can also expect from the corrupt Liberals in the days ahead?
The blogging community must pay close attention to how the National mainstream media reacts to this Liberal smear on the ND’s, and will they continue to endorse the Liberals regardless of the dirty tactics they use to remain in power? . They would be “The Devil We Know” right?
Martin can be judged by the company he keeps; Klander is also a registered lobbyist, meaning he feeds off taxpayers money from the liberal trough, and, presumably, is effective as a lobbyist because of who he knows.

Only if the Conservatives had had one of their own do something like that would it be any big deal. On a lighter note we notice the audits put the Liberal party in debt 30 plus million….funny how they go into debt so fast post Adscam when we are watching them closely….must have a cadre of party parasites like Klander on the payroll….watch for these jobs to be paid by the tax payer during elections.

That’s a great point. The only difference between this election, and elections past, is the fact that the microscope is now on the prospect of them using tax dollars for their campaigns. Suddenly they’re in debt.
Imagine if we poked a few more proverbial straws though the canvass to get a glimpse of other government programs potentially utilized for Liberal party gain.

PM to Address the Nation
Ottawa is buzzing over the Prime Minister’s announcement that he will address the nation on Thursday at 7:45pm. Good thing he’s going on at that time…Survivor starts at 8:00 and the tribes just merged (well they actually they kind of merged…Ulong was left with one member…Stephanie, and she came over).
Anyways here is my speculation…
Prime Minister Martin will come clean and tell Canadians that Warren Kinsella is secretly involved in PMO strategy session and that he is not pond scum. He won’t make comment on whether he is rabid until he has all the information in front of him.
Either that or he will announce that from now on he would like to be referred to as Benedict. Just Benedict…no last name…Benedict…just like Prince.

I think a more apt name might be KKKlander.
When I saw Wells initial post, and realized that where there was one archived page cached, there might be others, I thought I’d see what else there might be. I was concerned that the story would be spun as an attempt at humour gone awry, and that no ethnic slur had been intended. I wanted to see if that spin would hold water.
I ran a number of searches on Google and Yahoo (the two search engines that cache web sites, including archive pages from blogs). I was looking for the other months to see what else Mike Klander may have written, and I was able to find all but two.
What I found was disturbing. This man is the second highest official in the Liberal Party of Canada, and the most senior official for Ontario. He is guiding their re-election campaign in that province. And yet, he thought nothing of putting out a blog that, month after month, slagged his opponents with racist, homophobic, and crude remarks.
Remember Parizeau and his reference to the “ethnics”? Klander wrote in one post he hated Stephen Harper standing next to “the sexy Rona Ambrose” and “the ethnic Rahim Jaffer”.
Remember Kim Campbell’s campaign mocking Chretien’s face? Klander had a photo that was far more unkind.
He mocked quadriplegic MP Steven Fletcher’s inability to move on his own, captioning one photo of Fletcher, receiving the congratulations of the House, as Fletcher telling the Health Minister to “step outside” in a piece of work he titled “Furious Fletcher and the Stiff”.
Throughout his remarks are salted homophobic descriptions of people “looking gay”.
To top it off, he confirmed what everyone has long suspected – that the desperate and cloying efforts of the Liberal government to do anything to hang onto power, rather than fall in a non-confidence motion, was part of a strategy to delay as long as possible so that people would get tired of Gomery.
I posted the links on Small Dead Animals, Comments Please, and some others, but since the Liberal spinners are frantically trying to claim these were faked, I encourage everyone to do what I did – search “Mike Klander” (in quotations) plus the name of each month, from April through December. When these sites come up, click on “cached” to find a copy of what the site looked like last time Google and Yahoo visited.

Maybe they are under such scrutiny now in the funding department that they are having to steal from themselves just to feed the habit, 35 million and growing. I guess they can try to spin the $1.14 million and the missing $40 million were put to good use so stop asking about it.

It should be illegal for Political Parties to go into debt. While it is not stricly a political donation the financial instituions are federally regulated. How are they supposed to say no, how are they supposed to COLLECT on a bad debt.
Isnt a donation from a bank to a political part effectively writing off the debt…in both cases they get the tax benefit but one doesnt effect earnings.
Which of course raises the other issue that political donations from any organization that receives federal funds should be prevented from donating federally.
But first things first.
Federal political parties should be banned from taking on debt, i.e. all donations must come with no strings attached, interest or otherwise.
Forward this news to everyone you know. Let us use the blogosphere to counteract the misinformation and disinformation of the MSM. I started my morning by forwarding this to many MSMers. If this doesn’t make the evening news, I shall be greatly saddened at the demise of the once objective Canadian media.
It would be interesting to find out which banks are holding Lieberal debt. And then check to see how many of them were players in the pre-announcement income trust feeding frenzy.
I tried to search for Klander’s blog using the Wayback Machine (http://www.archive.org/web/web.php). However, it yielded no results. From where would I be able to retrieve no longer posted, yet cached, webpages from this fella’s website?

i’ve commented on this over at steve taylor’s site that we should watch out for baited issues that the lieberals can use against the conservative blogosphere. if this is a ruse, then the originator, Paul Wells (from Macleans no less) should ensure, before posting, that all the due diligence is done. we certainly don’t need a rick mercer referendum to convince us the lieberals have their own way of undermining the efficacy and relevance of blogging as a force for democratic change. there are a lot of people out there that fear freedom and responsibility and it wouldn’t take a whispher and a wink to suggest they stay huddled in their basements waiting for the next welfare cheque.

As I said, the pattern of infantile boorishness and elitist hubris is rife in the Liberal sandbox.

To a Liberal…who has a toddler-like concept of civil liberty…freedom is the ability to lay claim to anything the adults left lying around unguarded and stuff it in their pockets, say bad words and act nasty in public and expose their privates in public and call it art.
We can only hope they grow up to be conservatives some day.
Klander is just exercising his infantile world view…amazing how well it dovetails with genetic Liberal party patrician elitism…Dual standards for the privileged Liberal patrician class and a separate dictated standard for the plebian class. So we see that minority sesitivity dictated by the Liberal socially engineered politically correct culture does not apply to “sophomoric” Liberal apparatichiks.
It’s been pointed out to me that my reference to “Liberal spinners” is unfair to those who initially raised doubts about the authenticity of these posts, and I retract that reference. There seems to be no attempt by the Liberals to deny the authenticity of these posts. In fact, one of them, buckets, dug deeper and located a December 23 news story in which a Liberal Party executive responded to the issue:

I now have a better understanding of the Liberal commercials.
I’m not surprised at the report that Klander has resigned. He really had no choice.
If the Liberals are smart, they’ll comment on it tonight, and then treat it as yesterday’s news tomorrow. So the MSM will pick it up today and tomorrow (or not, depending on their bias), and then we’ll only see the occasional reference to it.
Of course, the Conservatives have been given a gift – not the opportunity to use this for partisan gain, but as an opportunity to reframe their own image. There should be a clear warning from Harper that anyone who commits such indiscretions will not have the opportunity to resign – they will be publicly fired.
Maybe this is the first step to a civilized discourse in Canadian election campaigns. (Nah – won’t happen. Just too much to hope for.)
Duke says: Mickey won’t run for office because he just stupided himself out of any chance at that arena. I doubt he will ever get his big Liberal ‘go-directly-to-heaven’ appointment for work well done.
