Not to worry Kate, he was a Liberal Minister of Defence so had/has no idea about real defence matters except that he could combine 3 proud services into a polyester green combo, providing more money for slush fund procurement contracts to friends of the “Party”. Better Liberal living through good time contracts.
Every day I hear and see things that further confirm my theory that liberalism is a form of mental illness. Often manifested in paranoia, delusion, victimization, and a bad case of “head up the arse syndrome”.

Sometimes I have to wonder just what is going on up there. Is it the Northern Lights? The Long winters? We did have Jerry Brown in California with his loony pronouncements, but, jeepers, are the Liberals in Canada eating ‘shrooms?
I first met Paul in 1967 at RCAF Station Gimli where he attended a Wings Grad. Parade. I was a young Flying Officer at the time and he was in company with AVM Rino who was wearing the first Jolly Green Jumper that we (air types) had seen which made the event doubly sad for me. I was, even as a sprog, totally convinced this man was nuts. He has done nothing over the years but cement that belief even more firmly. His appearance last night on Fox was truly pathetic. I think the man will end up in the Looney Bin.
All this guy had to say was something about the U.S. and weapons in space to get a standing ovation at U of T.

People on the right had more nightmares and dreams in which they lacked power. They had a greater frequency of lifelike dreams. Female rights were especially anxious about family relationships, and male rights had dreams almost devoid of girlfriends. People on the left had fewer nightmares and more dreams in which they had power.

The USA has always used fear as a way of promoting spending. If you are going to build a base on the moon it has to be to protect them from something. The US people understand this. What the actual spending is for requires looking a lot deeper. When will people finally catch on that things aren’t always what it seems to be on the surface(weapons of mass destruction).
