I called it and someone sounding like her has a message on there saying “you’ve reached Belinda Stronach, I can’t take your call…”

Got through to her voice mail. The message said that you can call 416-624-4641 for emergencies. That got another voice mail, indicating that it was Belinda Stronach’s personal line.
The number seem to be legit.

I would like to be a fly on the wall at her consituency office. I bet the phones are melting down. Let the constituents vent their frustration first.
I feel sorry for the people in her riding (Newmarket, right?). They must be horribly betrayed. Let her answer to them. I hope that she will not survive as a Liberal there, because the electorate will “speak out for what is right for Canada” (i.e. using her own words against her, that self serving trollip). I am wishing that her flight of fancy aborts at no further than a desevered loss at the next election in her riding.

My guess is that her role is to smear Harper. She will be the ‘inside REAL experience’ of him as a ‘scary person’, ‘totalitarian’, etc, etc.

I think posting this number is a bad idea. I know that we’re all angry at her but even so…unless it’s her party office, I don’t think it’s a good idea. Having said that…I just want to say that I hope this galvanizes everyone to defeat her and the Liberals. This makes me so mad I can’t articulate it. Posting a cell phone number is pretty harmless. How will the posting of a cell phone number provide additional information against an individual? Other than the small satisfaction it would give due to the inconvenience of changing the number there’s not much to it. There’s numerous ways (which anyone who’s capable of reading this blog should know) to find residential addresses, email addresses, family members etc. which are legally accessable to all.

I can’t believe how they’re trying to smear Deepak. I knew the guy many years ago when I lived in Calgary and long before he became an MP. He’s a wonderful man, and I just can’t see him doing anything approaching what is being alleged. It’s no secret that I hate the CPC’s stance on SSM, but I would disregard my personal feelings on the issue for the chance to put someone like him in the House of Commons. Ottawa could use more people like Deepak and I’d vote for him in a heart beat.

Are some people assuming that Ms. Stronach’s former friends (those she abandoned, as she abandoned all Canadians) still want her phone number? It seems to me most people who had her number aren’t going to be calling it much in the coming months.
That this might encourage her to change her phone number is an annoyance, but her new friends will, I would suspect, be provided with her new phone number.
