  1. About time, I was beginning to think we were all talk and no action, something like martin was towards the tsunami relief. Wish I could be there too Kate.

  2. Have sent email to Randy Hillier (see website below).
Rural Revolution has a demonstration for 16 May, 2005 at Ont. gov’t offices, Kemptville, Ont.(20 minutes from Parliament Hill, Ottawa). Enclosed URL for this site. Asked them to move up to Ottawa in a convoy to Parliament Hill.

    Make it a Blue Monday!

  3. Come on Ontario, Quebec, and were ever else. Show us out here in the wilderness you care.
A lot of us can’t make it out there and were depending on you, and watching to see if you all have the will to make change and take back control of your own lives and your country.
I haven’t made a patriotic statement for years, so give me a reason that this effort is all worth it.

  4. I will be there, caught a last minute deal from Air Canada and will be waving my blue finger. I know of at least 50 other people going from Saskatoon.

  5. Rural Revolution consists of bona fide farmers and rural property owners, with ties to groups in the Prairies.
Rural Revolution is rolling on Monday to Parliament Hill.
More on Rural Revolution in later comments.
How to link SDA to their website; or,is it vice versa? URL posted previously.
    Down with National Socialism.
    Long live freedom and democracy.

  6. Rally today?

I’ve read a couple of blogs mentioning a rally planned for 1:00 on Parliament Hill today. The purpose is to ‘Take back the Hill!’ and attendees are requested to wear blue. I’m a little dubious about it. While I support…

  7. While I’d agree that the gov’t needs to go, and now, dying a finger blue seems disrespectful to those who braved suicide bombers to vote after long years of brutal repression under Saddam. Liberal stonewalling makes me mad enough to spit, but it’s nothing compared to that. We shouldn’t pretend it is.

  8. Friends,
A Monday rally may have some impact, but I would suggest (not being in a position to do anything about it from the US) rallies on Wednesday, timed for exposure on the 6 pm newscasts, at sites throughout the dominion. Call it Rolling Thunder (since the demonstrations will not occur simultaneously, but at the appointed hour in local time). Do it after work, when most anti-Libranos would be available.

  9. Are you sure this is the right day and city?
I’ve monitored the CBC and CTV websites over the weekend and they have been headlining the momentous political turmoil in Uzbekistan.
Come on guys, we gotta book a flight to Tashkent!
Paulisimo might even have to prorogue parliament so that he can mediate.
