Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Was Jesus Gay?
NO!
“Homosexual” and “Christian” are mutually exclusive.
The scriptural condemnation of the practice of homosexuality is unequivocal.
As long as He isn’t that Clown Jesus from Godspell. Because then I’m so outta here…
Mutually exclusive? Really? Making sweeping statements like that would lead me to believe that humans and Christianity are mutually exlusive, because we’ve all broken a “rule” or two.
First politically incorrect, now religously incorrect. What comes next in the hierarchy?
Actually, isn’t that politically correct religious progressiveness?
Had you speculated that he was gay and married, I might have seen it that way.
And in another setback:
President Bush has “no gay artists” on his iPod.
If Jesus was an Essene, he spent most of his life being celibate (regardless whether he was married, as some speculate).
They’re not “mutually exclusive”. Christian or not, we’ve all sinned. However, Jesus, the Son of God did not sin. It is more correct to say “Christ” and “homosexual” are mutually exclusive.
Kate, you should have added an “!” after the “?” in the thread title.
Oh sure. Like I’ve got nothing better to do than look after comments threads that run into the triple digits.
Touchy?!
Moses looks a lot like a pumped blue Peter.
Jesus was gay. Allah’s a woman. And Buddah was just short for his weight.
was jesus gay? thats past tense.i believe the tomb was empty=ressurection so is jesus gay?personally i dont believe so but i do know he was a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.
Jesus Through the Wrong Lens
Forgive me a short rant here, but… Why is it that between The DaVinci Code (soon to be turned into a film, directed by Ron Howard), and now this flap, there seems to be this desperate rush on to view Jesus through the lens of our sex-obsessed cultu…
Well, even a hardcore Papist like myself finds watching the s-l-o-w b-u-t s-t-e-a-d-y implosion of the Anglican church just a bit too creepy and “voyeuristic” sometimes…
Christmas in Bethlehem. The three wisemen dismount from their camels in front of the stable, arms laden with gifts, and the first one through the doorway, smashes his head on the top of the doorframe. He reels back, claps his hand to his forehead, and shouts “Jesus Christ!” Mary jumps out of a stable stall, and cries: “That’s a great name- I was gonna call him Fred.”
