How do we feel about the Philippines (~5% of new immigrants since the 1990s)? Israel? Hong Kong? South Korea (Minari, anyone?)? Add these and other “good immigrants” all up, and before you know it, you’re really now down to somewhere in the ballpark of 600K immigrants per year that you might have a problem with — together representing about 0.2% of the total US population in 2019.
