  1. “Last night the first Canadian flight departed from Kabul (since Sunday morning embassy evac). Global News has learned it had 198 people on board the C-17. One of the early American flights transported a record setting 823 people on the exact same kind of plane.”

“A source tells Global News that there was a discussion on limiting the number of people based on seatbelts available for Canadian flights.”

    Face-Palm. LOL. Seatbelts? SEATBELTS???

    https://twitter.com/MercedesGlobal/status/1428750872436219904

“I asked the US Air Force how many passengers they are flying out on their C-17s from Kabul. USAF says on average in first days they had 300 passengers per plane by sitting them on the floor. Now they’ve increased to “max capacity” of 400 per flight. Canada’s first flight had 198.”

    1. Sensible world travelers always refuse to fly out of a war-torn district, if seat belts aren’t available.

    2. I know I’m nit-picking, but I question the 800+ people on a C-17. It’s designed to carry just over 130 troops. Maybe the writer was thinking of the C-5 Galaxy, which could carry several hundred.

        1. Somebody took an awful risk by doing that. I guess they forgot what happened in April ’75 when a C-5 Galaxy went down and killed around 140 children that were on board.

          1. Brave flight crew. Used their own morals and judgement. They did not surrender to bureaucracy.

          2. They put the entire aircraft in danger by exceeding its design limits for payload. That would have taxed not just the airframe but the engines as well.

          3. What would you do if the danger on the ground was greater than the danger in the air?

          4. Doing some basic math, they were under the max. Weight capacity. I figure they were at 164,000 lbs for the people cargo. And that is assuming they are all 200 lbs per person. Regardless, I’d get on if the shit hit the fan.

          5. With an increased weight, the plane would have needed to run longer along the tarmac before there was enough lift to become airborne. That would make the aircraft a target. Also, it would assume that the runway was in suitable condition.

All it would take would be a few well-placed shells or rockets and the takeoff would have to be scrubbed.

In addition, with increased payload, the engines would have to produce more thrust. A flameout during takeoff or during early ascent would have easily ended things rather quickly. Increased thrust burns more fuel and that would have shortened the plane’s range.

I’ve been on flights which were at least half-empty. Sometimes, we’d have to re-arrange our seating to balance the load, making the plane easier to control. Now consider what could happen with far more passengers than it’s designed to carry, passengers who are panicked. That could make the aircraft harder to fly.

          6. Cargo capacity 170,900 pounds.

800 skinny Afghans likely weigh less than 150 pound average = <120,000 pounds.

Every aircraft should go out full.

    1. roaddog, when someone says that an unvaccinated person is a danger to a vaccinated person I immediately ask them why? Do you know there is no answer to that question.

      1. Just on BBC news: Woman and husband been double jabbed. Him Pfizer, her AZ. Both subsequently caught covid. He was ill for four days, she still feels like shit a month later. She asks “Is there any difference in how long post covid symptoms last, depending on which vaccine you’ve had”? You couldn’t make this stuff up.

        1. Thanks Nancy; I actually learned something the other day. When you ‘dust your broom’ it means you prepare to leave town in hurry.

  2. Canadian “response” in Afghanistan compared to France’s……

“Ten buses screamed out of France’s embassy in Kabul early this week, past every Taliban checkpoint along the way, and according to eyewitnesses, zipped confidently through a back-entrance gate and straight onto the chaotic tarmac at Hamid Karzai International Airport. Five hundred exhausted and terrified passengers were then loaded onto a French military aircraft which quickly took off.”

“Thursday they received a short text from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). They were instructed (in English only) to urgently head to the airport on their own, try to find a way through multiple Taliban checkpoints searching for them, and then if they survived that kilometres-long trip, figure out a way through thousands of desperate Afghans trying to flee. They were told by IRCC to carry documents to identify themselves to a gate agent, but because those same documents would be used to identify them by the Taliban, it was up to them to decide whether to carry them. With that, IRCC wiped its hands of responsibility. No direction on where to avoid Taliban checkpoints, no specific gates to head to (there are eight), and no Canadians on site to help.”

    1. I just pray to God that all the Western troops and diplomats in Afghanistan are using the correct pronouns.

      1. VOWG – it worked perfectly for my friends parents, aged 85 and 91 I think. No effect on them or Donald Trump yet.

Monoclonal antibodies have been around for a while. They were “developed for the treatment and prophylaxis of other viral infections, such as HIV, influenza, RSV, MERS-CoV, Ebola and Zika virus (Walker, January 2018). Of these, only monoclonal antibodies targeting RSV and Ebola have been shown to be effective in human trials”.
“Eli Lilly’s monoclonal antibody, bamlanivimab…, was originally derived from the blood of one of the first U.S. patients who recovered from COVID-19.”

        https://www.idsociety.org/covid-19-real-time-learning-network/therapeutics-and-interventions/monoclonal-antibodies/

        1. How would you know? Give a year or two if they have a year or two. Scares the shit out of me and I am not quite your Mom’s age. I think I have read more virology and epidemiology than most if not all the health bureaucrats in the country. This massive experiment is extremely dangerous and violates the Nuremberg Code, which is still considered International Law. To date the virus that supposedly causes covid 19 has not been isolated so just what are they using???

        2. Paul, Vowg opposes any action to avoid, or ease, the suffering, of the China virus. He has even posted that the China virus does not exist.

          1. David – we know the Wuhan flu exists because we generally know at least one person who has suffered from it. We are getting to the point where the cost of anxiety for our youth is a far greater cost than the loss of many octogenarians! We need to take away the excuses for lockdowns not add more.

      1. “The specifics of what Canada paid for the 250 million doses of vaccine it pre-purchased have been hard to come by. The 2021 budget released in April said the total was somewhere around $9 billion.”

        https://www.timescolonist.com/canada-paid-a-premium-to-get-doses-from-pfizer-earlier-than-planned-1.24329881

“The only cost per dose revealed so far was released by accident when the price for the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine was accidentally left in an email included in a package of documents released to the health committee. That email said Canada would pay $8.18 per dose of Oxford-AstraZeneca, which would amount to $163 million for the 20 million doses ordered.”

  3. Our politicians for decades has taken over experts and science by funding and created a deception society that we currently live under where they state our path to economic prosperity. But this path is fantasy at it’s finest and cannot be achieved.
    https://www.zerohedge.com/political/its-time-purge-experts

When we purge our experts what is left behind?
Our politicians, media and society have no idea due to the multitude of laws, restrictions and regulations that they have applied in it’s place.
We need thinkers that can reconstruct and show a viable lifestyle that we can all attain through practical technology that is achievable without the assholes statement that it’s bad.
Currently, everything is bad and we’ve locked ourselves down as our governments became our nannies with terrible ideas and policies.

    1. When you look at the perspective of us being ants.
Back and forth, back and forth and back and forth…we’ve wasted vast amounts of energy but what have we actually achieved for ourselves in the last 30 years?
Our computer technology is highly reliant on a multitude of vulnerabilities that can shut it down permanently…
And with that, pretty much our whole society…
We’re already on the wrong slope of maximum population as more diseases arrive.

    1. So it would be logical to expect hysterics excel during periods of mass hysteria?

When the panic is reimposed this fall,as flu season starts up again,I am thinking of masking up with a mine rescue pack.
Changing the air charge to nitrous oxide ,so at least I can still laugh at this madness.
Although the visual effect of a WW2 gas mask is damn hard to resist.
If we are to be seen as lab rats to be experimented on by our precious betters, the least we can do is dress the part.

I feel something growing around me,it may be about to be a real interesting time to be an expert or career parasite.
      Madame Guillotine shall sing?
      Because it is our heritage.

For the mob is loosed and the parallels between us and France 1700s is frightening.
Those who incite the mob,the blind unreasoning side of the masses, hope to ride to power..
      Instead they “Ride the Tiger”.

      All hail King Mob.

    2. “56.3 percent of white women between the ages of 18 and 29 and who labeled themselves as “liberal,” said they had been given a mental health diagnosis,”
      ====

Scary stuff when it means that the other 43.7 of them are running around undiagnosed with mental problems…

  4. It occurs to me, that the defined benefit pension plan is the source of all our problems.

one grift, to rule them all
one grift to find the corruptible
one grift to bring them all
and in the darkness bind them

To secure the defined benefit pension, they will do anything. To protect the defined benefit pension, no tactic is beyond the pale. To increase the pension, no zealotry is too much, there is nothing that shall not be destroyed.

Police will stop enforcing the law to keep theirs.

Fire fighters, will engage in arson to protect theirs.

Members of Parliament will apologize for their whiteness, to grow theirs.

Attorneys general will decline to charge or prosecute any crime, to keep the biscuit wheels on that gravy train.

Doctors an nurses will do any and all harm they have to, strike for any reason, to make their fur as comfy as possible.

It appears to be both necessary, and sufficient, to corrupt anything it touches. It corruots, by drawing the corruptible in, and forcing the incorruptible out.

    1. You got that right Kevin.
And they are too stupid/self involved to realize the “Big Lie” applies to them as well.
The myth of a retirement pension, exists to justify the constant theft from the taxpayer, while every evidence points to nought but an unfunded liability, being thrust upon children as yet unborn,in a bankrupt kleptocracy.

One of the “Fears” held over Western Separation,is that we will lose that pension..
      And our “Free Healthcare”.
Such a stupid lie,for it is already lost.
By declaring our independence and renouncing the Empty promises of the Confederation..We forgo nothing.

Everything that is claimed to unite Canadians,is BS.
I remain fascinated by “The case for Canada”,which is hiding somewhere, for I cannot find it and cannot make it.
Obey or lose your benefits, privileges and power, works every time..
Never seems to occur to the minions that what they steal from others will be stripped from them..
“First they came for the ….”
      And so it goes.

Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition.
This will be the mantra of the last free individuals.
I thought it would be our children’s children experiencing the great betrayal, but looks like other peoples money has run out already.
Emperor Justine has exceeded all expectations..
      Forward.

The most amazing aspect of our Progressive comrades,is their belief in the superior wisdom of the State, overriding the individual..
Yet even they should see that the “State” is staffed with morons like them.
Yet these,”Math is hard” morons insist they are the smartest things alive.
Dead Eyed Zombies, obedient to the end.

      We need a new country.
For without individual domain civilization is impossible.

      1. A mass psychosis, always starts with a deluded leadership. The totalitarian delusion that we are currently living through, depends upon a never ending stream of people who believe that no matter what they have to do, it is for the “greater good”. No matter what they have to burn. No matter who, or how many they must murder. No crime is inexcusable. No lie is too big. They know better, and “it is for the greater good”.

The worst mistake anyone can make, is believing that there is a line that they will not cross. Do not believe that they hold anything sacred, not for a second. Do not believe they care about anything. Never believe they will not go lower; never believe it is not their greatest desire, to surpass the previous outrage.

  5. From Rex Murphy:

“At this point, I think I should ask Erin O’Toole to suspend his campaign. What can he do, what can his party put out, to counter this stroke of caring genius? Nothin’, O’Toole. You are a good man, but — face it — a man nonetheless. But the wisdom and depth, plus the mile-deep sympathy and sincerity, that lies behind Trudeau’s analysis leaves you, O’Toole, with nowhere to go. Perhaps amalgamate with Annamie Paul. She needs a friend”.

    https://nationalpost.com/opinion/rex-murphy-the-lost-liberals-and-their-lofty-ideals

P.S. nevah mind — just fuggetaboutit, E. O’T … Boychik screwed us all and The World has gone over the cliff, there’s no one to put it back together. Eeeoucjh!

  6. Trudeau is desperate, getting more so every day…..internal polling not so good Bunky?
Newest sign is a “promise” to fix long term care across the country. Is this not the business of the provinces or have I been missing something?

  7. The Elections Debates Commission has ruled that the PPC cannot participate in the forthcoming debates. There are three criteria for which a political party can participate, any one criterion is sufficient to include the party in question. One criterion is that a party must have at least 4% of polling support. The most recent Ekos poll had the PPC at 5.1% popular support, slightly higher than the 4.8% support for the Green party. Yet the corrupt Commission excludes the PPC.

    Money and power rule.

    1. “However, the People’s Party and the Maverick Party — formerly known as the ‘Wexit’ Party — have been left out.
In order to participate, Johnston said each party had to be represented in the House of Commons by an elected Member of Parliament. They also needed to have won at least four per cent of the national vote during the last federal election, or garner four per cent of the national vote within five days after the federal election date is set, which can be measured through public opinion polling.”
      https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/other/people-s-party-out-of-federal-election-debate-as-new-criteria-announced/ar-AANA5T6?ocid=msedgdhp&pc=U531

    1. Watcher, thanks for posting that. Maybe we can still pull back from the brink, but I fear that slavering, sputtering confused Dopey Joe will (more even than Obama) weaponize every agency of government to destroy America’s freedom.

      1. The real America will push back. Millions of them are VETERANS who swore their Oath to the Constitution.
And they will never surrender their arms.

        1. Apologies- I repeated this below here, didn’t see your post. Ha. Speed reading isn’t good tonight.

    1. Yes, but here, they’re CLAIMING the many many patients are ‘unvaccinated’, they’re so deceptive.

  8. My local rag, the Ottawa Citizen finally shadow-banned me from commenting… and I’ve subscribed to that bird-cage liner for over 30 years, all because I challenge the vaxxine lies they’re publishing. I can log in, see my account, etc, but the moment I try to post a comment, I’m caught in an endless login loop, even though I’m already logged in. Anyone who still gets the faux-jab after all the evidence that they’re trying way too hard to push it on the LIV gets all the health problems they deserve. At this point, Canadian mainstream media deserves an agonizing death.

          1. It was a zany flick, made better by some good acting, good action…and a good score. Ha! You!! Smiles!

  9. Just returned a package of USDA inspected pork loin in cryovac packaging for a completely new reason. It was magnetic. I have seen comments online from the U.S. about this, but was wary. I bought it today in Toronto and returned within 5 minutes as I had a small magnet in the car. I also demonstrated its magnetic properties to two of the store’s employees and filled in an online form on the CFIA’s website.

  10. Trump just finished his speech in Alabama. It was powerful. They’re playing this right now: “Sweet Home Alabama”
    https://youtu.be/RrmWFjnAP2E

There was a massive outdoor, standing room only audience, despite rainy weather for most of the day.
