I personally think that the Olympics should only be about the sports which trained men for war – running, archery, discus throwing – that sort of thing.
Beach volleyball (with women in bikinis) is just so late 20th century. Apparently the Australians have tried for a very long time to have ballroom dancing entered as a sport. I like ballroom dancing, but it is not war worthy material.

Women’s world records in nearly every Olympic sport are routine accomplishments for elite 15 year old boys, or 40 year old men.
But that’s the whole point, isn’t it? Women are on average, much lighter, shorter, and have less muscle mass compared to males; not that their muscle mass is a lower %age relative to their body weight.
That a 240lb male can throw a hammer farther is a given.

Ironically archery should be bisexual. It’s about accuracy over distance. There isn’t an advantage of muscle or endurance between non aberrant genders in bow shooting.
